I am writing to formally file a complaint against Motivatept due to a series of issues and concerns that have arisen during my recent interactions with the company and personal trainer, Alessia.
On August 31st, I booked a free initial consultation with Alessia through the company's website. During this consultation, I explicitly communicated my intention to engage in this personal training services for a trial period of only one month before considering any long-term commitments. I made it abundantly clear that I wished to commence my training the following month, in October. As someone who had never used a personal trainer before, I relied on Alessia's guidance and expertise in the matter. Alessia informed me that the pricing for your services would increase in the subsequent month, thereby encouraging me to make a prompt payment to secure the current rates. Consequently, she directed me to a payment link on the website.
Unfortunately, while attempting to make the payment, I encountered confusion with the website's payment system. The choice on the website is messy and limited. I mistakenly selected four sessions, believing that this would suffice for a one-month trial. Subsequently, I realized that I had unintentionally subscribed to this services. Notably, I could not find an option on the website to specify the start date for my training. Consequently, I contacted Alessia for guidance, as per the instructions provided on the website.
Alessia confirmed that my training would begin in October. Then, I received the email from this company that they refund me because I wanted to start in October, that my subscription started in October. However, I subsequently received communication from the company indicating a minimum subscription requirement of three months. I was very confused about the whole thing. This information contradicted the terms that Alessia had communicated to me during our initial consultation. Only after I paid the subscription, Alessia mentioned that my subscription would be active until the end of December. She did not provide a clear explanation for this, and I inquired about the discrepancy. If necessary, I can provide our chat history as evidence.
Throughout this ordeal, I meticulously maintained a detailed chat history that clearly demonstrates Alessia's failure to explicitly mention the three-month minimum subscription requirement when I expressed my desire to try the services for just one month. I also mentioned a lot I may not in London after October and I am not feeling physically well at the moment. Faced with misinformation and confusion, I reluctantly decided to cancel my subscription.
However, despite my cancellation, I was informed that my subscription would remain active until December. Furthermore, when I expressed my unavailability for in-person training in November, Alessia responded by offering online sessions. It is essential to emphasize that my initial request was for in-person training, and online training was not my preference.
My dissatisfaction with this situation is further exacerbated by the inadequacies of the website, which consistently directed me to contact my personal trainer for assistance. Regrettably, my attempts to seek clarification and resolve issues through Alessia only resulted in further misguidance and incomplete information.
Given the circumstances outlined above, I believe that I have been misled, provided with conflicting information, and charged for services that I neither fully understood nor intended to commit to. This situation has left me feeling taken advantage of and has caused significant frustration and inconvenience.
I kindly request that you address these issues urgently and take the following actions:
1. Refund the charges associated with my subscription.
2. Clarify your company's policies and terms during the initial consultation with potential clients to avoid future misunderstandings.
3. Review and improve the functionality of your website to ensure that clients can easily access accurate information and make informed decisions.
4. Ensure that your trainers provide consistent and accurate information to clients, aligning with your company's policies.
I hope to see a prompt resolution to this matter. If my concerns are not addressed satisfactorily, I may have no choice but to escalate this complaint to relevant consumer protection authorities and seek legal assistance to protect my rights as a consumer.
I appreciate your attention to this serious issue and look forward to your prompt response within a reasonable timeframe, ideally within 10 business days, to discuss a resolution.

I’ve been working at MotivatePT for 1 and a half years and my experience can’t be better. This job allows me to work on my passion surrounded by amazing women (at the team and my clients) and continue always learning as you are always supported and trained. It also gives me the opportunity to organice my schedule and gives me a lot of freedom. I feel very grateful to Bea lately and specially the founder Kira for this opportunity, for all the amazing job that we have done and for the bright future that I see always in this company. I would highly recommend to work here to any qualified PT that has a passion in helping women and also wants a different experience from the typical PT- gym-job.

I have had issues with the management during the hiring process; however, after a formal complaint the issues were resolved.
Truthfully,
Melanie
I would not advise anyone to use their service. I am not the most attractive or fit person which is why I am looking for a good personal training service to use. I felt uncomfortable in the presence of the personal trainers, it was not a supportive environment. Very much a style over substance company and would advise others to look at alternatives first. Not worth wasting the money
I have been training with MotivatePT for 9 months and have seen such rapid progress in that time that now my wife and several of my good friends have recently taken the plunge and started to train with them too. I have been very impressed with what can be achieved without the gym. My personal trainer is always punctual, attentive and focused and I would happily give them full marks.
