Sold my car at Peterborough
I went to sell my car at Peterborough on Sunday, having already been given a valuation online. We were quite impressed by the whole experience , the site was clean and tidy as was the showroom/ reception area. Tea or coffee was offered by the receptionist and was greatfully accepted. We had been allocated a very young man by the name of Fred to do the initial appraisal of our car. Fred explained the process that would happen and talked us through each stage and was very clear and precise with his information. This young man is a credit to Motorpoint and also to his family, polite and not at all pushy, which unfortunately is sadly lacking nowadays. I am giving big praise to Fred because he deserves it.
Our car was taken into the workshop for an assessment and within 25 minutes Fred came and found my wife and I and said all was good, (which we knew was the case). We was paid the full price that was quoted and we then signed the document of ownership over to Motorpoint. Fred had previously explained as it was a Sunday, we may not receive the payment until the following day. We had email confirmation of the sale and price received before we left the site. All this in less than 1 hour.
We received the full price quoted as we were honest with our appraisal of our car before we took it to the site. No lies told and full price received.
To our surprise my wife looked on our banking app early evening on the Sunday and the full payment had been received.
Motorpoint offered more than anybody else and the whole experience was very smooth, and Fred helped this along.
