Spotlight
I got a spotlight package i advise anyone who is thinking of getting 1 it's rubbish the meal was served it was cold they changed it but they forgot to give me a knife & fork I did mention it but they take any notice finally they did but the meal was cold again & when we went down to see the show we couldn't get to out seats we couldn't get to them because mum is in a wheelchair so we had to in the exit the hospitality staff was running around to get us a seat bless them but nothing was suitable now they refuse to give me back my money I spoke to someone on the phone we see what happens yesterday there wasn't enough time to talk the timings were tight because I was concerned with my mum i
Security terrible and drinks extortionate
Showed security on arrival was overbearing and rude. The epitome of I’ve got a high vis and I’m going to use it. £7.10 for a zero alcohol beer! And £3.50 for half a lemonade!
Sh-it arena with sh-it booking system
Sh-it arena with sh-it booking system, two years in row when trying to book tickets to WWE live the sh-it website hasn't worked. I used a laptop, tablet and phone browser. None them worked. It kept saying tickets soon available then kept timing out after 6 minutes and kicking me out of the queue. Fuming my kids again have missed out on their favourite show due to the poor substandard quality of this arena and it's booking procedure. To make things worse they ask you then to call in on a 7p a minute line and have you queuing to music for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Avoid this arena like the plague. There are much better arenas like utilita arena in Birmingham who let you call free to book tickets
Totally discriminatory against disabled…
Totally discriminatory against disabled people, their security are atrocious to disabled people in the queue
Why are drinks extortionate at this…
Why are drinks extortionate at this place?
We went to see Whitney Queen of the night couple weeks back, I ordered a small bottle of wine and a coke… came to £20
Ridiculous!
Coke was flat btw. Wine I could have bought 4 regular bottles from Aldi
Still have the picture of the small bottle of wine and receipt to prove what I paid.
This will always be a reminder to never buy drinks in there again!
I can see why people like to stay in with beverages being this price
#costofliving and “yes I’m employed”
Even the girl who assisted the girl who served me grinned when she told me the price.
Real people are better than machines.
Went to cia to get some info on tickets we had, and was served by the fabulous Caroline. Who sorted our tickets for the strictly show. All done and made much easier for us in a matter of minutes.
Caroline deserves a massive pay on the back for her friendly and very helpful attitude. Thank you so so much from us all.
Clive, Theresa & Yvonne.
Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss…
Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss orchestra were excellent. The staff on help duties were wonderful. The amount of people needing help down the stairs was a lesson in ‘How To Lose Your Benefits.’ The Green Room was £50 per head and the afternoon tea was terrible. As a diabetic I would have needed an ambulance for all the sugar on offer. Without the cakes I was left with 4 finger width sandwiches. No cheese, pickles, crackers or savouries. I would recommend using other bars or food outlets, it’s cheaper and much better choice. The Green Room needs sorting and quickly.
No Tom jones went cos he was advertised
Incredible access staff as always!
Biffy Clyro last night with my wife who has had Parkinson’s for 15 years. Balcony seats this time as we couldn’t get access tickets and unfortunately she had a panic attack, not uncommon with her condition and medication cycle.
I have to say this venue has the best access staff of anywhere we’ve been to see music and the care and kindness shown to her was above and beyond what anyone should expect. They recognised she had a problem and calmly helped us get through it and moved her to the access area for the remainder of the concert once she was ok.
Thank you for saving the night guys.
Motorpoint arena
I would never recommend the motorpoint. They use a company called viagogo. They will re sell your tickets for more money if they can and make it very difficult to get a refund. Absolutely terrible experience
Thank you Motorpoint Cardiff…
I wanted to thank Motorpoint Cardiff for its excellent service to disabled customers from start to finish; the service was brilliant.
We collected our tickers and then waited a little longer than normal but this was because of production issues (Not the staff's fault) RuPaul's Werq it tour.
When it was ready a member of staff walked us to the lift told us where the bar and toilets were and showed us to our seats all staff from the box office to security staff were polite and friendly.
I'm the first to pull up bad service so think its only fair to leave a review for good service so well done Motorpoint Cardiff

We came to see ub40 we paid £300 when we got here ub40 wasn’t here it was tribute band, when we asked they told us this is ub40, it was salute absolute con they should be ashamed of them self! I wouldn’t even bother bye tickets for here, loads of people left and where we waited so long loads of people was drunk and fighting,
Great staff for disabled assistance
I feel it must be said that the staff are brilliant here. I have mobility issues and use a walking aid. I was assisted to my seat and shown where all facilities were. The seats had great views. Fantastic gig. Great atmosphere. Only not 5 stars because of bar prices. Nearly £10 for three cokes 🤦🏼♀️!!

Attended motorpoint arena Cardiff 31st March to see John Bishop. My husband bought a round of drinks costing £21 and made a contact free payment, the bartender insisted payment hadnt gone through even though my husband was sure it had. Checked account and it was taken out twice! Please be careful!
Motorpoint arena you should be Ashamed…
Motorpoint arena you should be Ashamed of yourselves Ive just paid £5.95 for a can of Calsberg yes Calsberg ! Sort it out your clearly robbing people. That’s the last time I’ll come here.
Daylight robbery!!
Erasure concert
I went to see Erasure in Cardiff. Luckily there were big screens otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see the concert.
The stewards must be able to control anti social behaviour. If someone is politely asked to move slightly then that is what they should do. The woman was in her late 30's early 40's. Her very tall boyfriend did apologise.
I am still angry about it and should have just walked out. As a result I sold my Human League tickets as it seems stewards are unable to deal with mature adults who spoil other people's experience with their behaviour. Sadly no more concerts for me at the Motorpoint arena.
Drinks payment scam
I attended the Manic Street Preachers concert last night (20/9/21) the concert was brilliant. However I would like to warn others of a potential scam being operated by some of the bar staff. I ordered 4 beers and was charged just under £25.00, however the bar was a contactless payment bar, I tapped my card and the screen said approved, however as I was about to take my beers, one of the bar staff stated I hadn’t paid. I pointed out that it had stated approved, but they insisted I hadn’t paid. I ended up tapping again and sure enough on checking my bank account today I see that I have paid twice. One way to avoid this is to give a physical receipt. This has left a sour taste with me, and I’m guessing there will be many others who have been scammed. I for one will never buy a drink in this venue when I attend other gigs. Please be careful, I hope this stops you becoming a victim of crime
Great venue stewards we're really…
Great venue stewards we're really helpful and polite got everyone through the covid checks quickly and afficiantly. But the Bar what a rip off the dearest venue I have ever been to made The Millennium and Wembley look cheap would go again doubtful.
