Outrageous, Unjustifiable Shipping Charges
I’m giving them a low rating because of their outrageous shipping charges and poor packaging options. This is a deceptive way of charging higher prices than advertised. To add to the problem, smaller amounts of loose teas come only in tins, causing those shipping weights to rise even further. My shipping charges were close to 50% on a small order of 3 loose teas, forced to by 2 in heavy tins when I just wanted to try them because I have MCAS. No one else is charging this to my knowledge, and AI confirmed it. I think these things say a lot about the company’s ethics and it worries me. If they’ll gouge their customers on packaging and shipping, can we truly trust their products? I put my order through today anyway because I’m ill and don’t have it in me to shop elsewhere at the moment, but I will be researching other sources for future needs.

Don’t waste your money
It took over a week to get my order. Worst was that I wasn’t notified when it shipped and no tracking info showed up when I signed into my account, and the herbs ended up sitting out in a very, very hot sun for two days before I figured out they had been mistakenly delivered to my neighbors house. I won’t use you again for anything.
Interesting this shipping email was the only email you supposedly sent that didn’t reach me, I did go online and there was no tracking information whatsoever, and this is not a shared porch, it is my neighbors porch, a different address, a different porch.

The tracking email was sent to the email we have on file on July 9 at 8:16 AM PST, and uploaded to your online account at that time. Tracking details can be found by logging in to your account, clicking the order you would like to track, and then scrolling to the bottom of the order detail page. Again, we apologize if you did not see this email or the tracking details in your account.
After reviewing the FedEx delivery photo, I see that it was left on the shared back porch between your address and the next-door neighbor. This is the address that was provided when the order was placed, but again, we are sorry if this is not what you intended. The good news is that the packaging and materials we use during shipment are designed to protect your products from degradation. The average shipping and delivery time a package encounters is unlikely to be long enough to cause harm to most products, including the extracts in your specific order. The main concern is a combination of heat and light exposure during long-term storage, so even products left out for several days should not be adversely affected.
However, if you notice signs of degradation or decide you cannot use the extracts, you may return them to us.
