Movavi is a wonder editor and easy to use Bought the Movavi Video Editor plus 2021

The worst accessibility I've ever witnessed in any video editing app, and I've been using them since 2016. What do you mean I have to restart my entire laptop because the "close pop up" button was off screen and it wouldn't let me move the programme to centre screen or full screen it BECAUSE I DIDN'T CLOSE THE POP UP IT WOULDN'T LET ME CLOSE.

Also why in all of the gods we've ever created would you PURPOSELY create a file type no other app can use and default it to that project type file creation any time it's exported instead of, oh I don't know, MP3 or 4 as is standard.

Got some issue when using it , but the customer service stuff is very kind and helped me out.

Excellent resource for video recording, very easy to follow and comprehend use.

Have asked for a refund twice now. First request was the day after the charge and the second was today. No response at all. They bundle an effects package that they then charge you separately for if you get the video editor trial. Additionally on the product cancellation page they've separated the FX bundle from the video editor so that you have to cancel both auto renewals separately as of they're two different products...but the FX can't work unless you have the video editor anyway. I paid for the video editor trial (mind you it's not even a free trial, just half price £17.99) they then attached the FX package for free but this auto renewed after 7 days for £28.99, I assumed by cancellong he video editor it would cancel everything but ofc it didn't. I haven't used the product at all since my initial purchase. My fx code remains unredeemed.

As an educational resource and for allowing the use of AI in so many aspects, I like it; however, the tool is not as accessible as others. I feel that adding text or audio separately from the video is neither properly recorded nor accessible. I wish they could refine that aspect of being able to add regular text and edit it in a way similar to CapCut—it could be a great plus and an advantage when considering paying for the service.

Bought this to make a facebook reel/video for my son's 20th birthday - wanted to incorporate photos and video with a song of my choice in the background. Worked great. The wizard tool was very helpful for getting started and then I was able to fine tune after.

Perfect for a quick slideshow for a tradeshow TV we setup, easy to use and intuitive!

Bought this on the basis that it would create videos from my holiday photos and video clips - It does do that pretty easily BUT you only get to export the made video with a horrible watermark on almost every section and to get rid of it costs more - how can that be ?? You also get bombarded with offers for free trials which ( of course mean signing up to auto renewals) and if you want to cancel auto renewals they say that you can't use the product you just bought - not sure that is legal but the inference is there . Just wish they'd be upfront with what you are buying - I made a video with music and effects only to discover that I had used "premium features" and it would not download unless .... you guessed it , I bought add ons .

It seems I bought some extra features too according to my account details but , they also wanted me to sign up to yet another set of add ons which of course are set up as auto-renew .

Don't like feeling I've been scammed ( and I'm sure they will say its all in the small print ) so best avoid the risk if they can't be upfront with what you are getting for your money ....

Okay so... I usually only write reviews if I've had a bad experience, but I had such a good interaction with Movavi that I'll write a positive one!! So, I had an issue with an order. The customer support team replied quickly and we had a few back-and-forth exchanges via email. They solved my problem quickly, even when I didn't think it was possible for my particular weird issue i ran into. This makes me feel way more likely to actually want to be a lifelong customer and stick with Movavi. Not only is their product good, but they are willing to work with their customer base to fix issues. Kudos!~

I got a subscription for Movavi Video Editor to edit a short film, but shortly after the trial ended I realized that it’s absolutely impossible to export the project as EDL, XML or in any other format to any other software (I needed to color grading in a more suitable software). I requested a refund within 14 days of the purchase, but Movavi refused it telling me that I don’t have a valid reason for a refund… So I not only had to redo the whole project in another editor, but also ended up without the money…

Unfair manipulative company. Look out for their subscription - they will charge you each year even though you used their product once, many years ago. No refund possible. Customer service is served by bots.

Be very careful with their free trials and unexpected monthly fees — including add‑on boxes that can be pre‑checked or easy to miss. Customer service is not available by phone, and while email responses are prompt, they’re not helpful when it comes to refunds. Overall, cancellations are not straightforward. Find something else.

Christmas and New Year's are over, everyone's back to work. I'm patiently waiting for the MOVAVI help desk to fix the recording problem with the 2026 video suite... I'm almost at the point of regretting buying MOVAVI.

They double charged me for the same thing, and would not do right and refund. The exact same product, one expiring Jan 31st and the other Feb 1st. Exact same product, but would not stand by their policies I’m also blocked from contact to rectify situation. I can't even get a hold of anyone from the company to make sure all auto renewals are off. They have completely blocked me! I am trying to figure out next step.

Don't trust companies that use dozens of different domain names for "reviews" of their own software, pretending it to be independent reviews of their software.

Best video editing tool ever.... so easy, intuitive, clever , engineered to perfection. Thank you to the company , its a game-changer :)
