They are a Scam one man website

They are a Scam! No Customer Support! Just a 1 man website I think, they quoted 2hours for my move at $300per hour for 3 movers with a Truck and finally they took about 6 hours to complete a local move with 30mins drive time, I found out the moving company only charges $169 per hour but moved.com never communicated with them so they are going to overcharge me. I tried calling their phone number but no one responds. Absolutely outrageous scamsters! Just answer the call!

Moved.com is the worst moving platform…

Moved.com is the worst moving platform I've ever used. It's clunky, aggressively upsells insurance, alarms, movers, cleaning, furniture, and more at every click, and relentlessly harvests personal info.

Password reset failed for over 2 days, delaying our move preparations and other tasks. Forced pet screening despite no pets—required both spouses separately, profiles wouldn't link, wasting 2 full days on support during a hectic move. Nearly canceled our lease; it it weren't for the wonderful property manager's intervention.

Even with "no pets" selected, it pushed pet insurance and add-ons. The entire process took over 2 hours of frustrating upsell nonsense.

Today is Thursday, move is Saturday, and we're still fighting pointless requirements. Terrible experience. Property manager? Avoid at all costs.

Fraudsters they need to be looked into…

Fraudsters they need to be looked into for false advertising. They lie about discounts and better rates but in reality they are con artists with a corporate facade. Our move was way more expensive that if we had not used their concierge service and there was no discount on the final price. It’s so gross. I hope they go out of business so other people can avoid feeling bamboozled like I do.

Scam!

Scam!!

Promised three staff to help move, two mysteriously left almost immediately. So obviously, the move took longer--then they overcharged!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Worst experience of my life. Incompetent people who lie right to your face. Beware. They prey on busy people who think they are getting quality service but in fact are getting scammed.

SHAM of a company

The movers that were used by moved.com ended up again contracting to another company, I think they picked up the guys at home depot and gave them a truck. A 2 bedroom and den apartment with no living room or dining room furniture took 7 hours to move with also leaving stuff behind because the truck ‘couldn’t fit it all’. Though moved did give me a credit at the end with I appreciate it didn’t come close to alleviating the stress of the day. It’s a horrible service and @avalonbay should be ashamed that they use them or offer them to their residents. Stay away and book your own move. At the end we had to hire someone else to clear out the rest of the items that were left. Both moved and perfect moving promised to help but you never get a call back. I even had to send an email reminding them of my credit as they sent the final bill without the concession. DO NOT USE!!!!!

Way overcharged for mediocre service

I was quoted $600, the movers with the company Moved.com picked were nice but very slow. I had to help them load and unload the truck because it was taking so long. I even left a lot of my stuff at the old apartment which I moved myself over the next several days because of how slowly it was going. Then they charged me an extra half hour of time after the movers had left the final home dropoff. All in all it cost me almost $2200 dollars to move a small apartment 3 miles down the road with myself doing all the packing beforehand and helping load and unload. I've moved across the country twice with other moving services and paid less. I am a professional, I definitely believe in paying appropriately for good service, but this Definitely was not worth the money. When I contacted customer service at moved.com after my card was charged (I was also never given a final charge, just showed up on my credit card), they were dismissive, basically "oh well." Not their actual words, but that was the gist. I dont write reviews because frankly it's usually not worth complaining and I am not a complainer, but this group needs to be avoided.

Manhattan Mini Storage forces you to…

Manhattan Mini Storage forces you to use this service and it is terrible. Don’t use them if you can avoid it. I booked with move on a Thursday and my move wasn’t officially booked until the following Monday evening. They also completely overcharge — my move took 90 minutes but they charged me the full two hours because my movers arrived at 12:10. Moved’s customer service also takes forever to respond. Don’t use them!!!

Avoid at all costs

Moved quoted me a 3 man crew for 3 hours and sent a 2 man crew for 2 hours. Because of the mistake, I was also charged 4.5 hours of overtime. The actual price was more than double what I was quoted. They offered a $25 credit to make up for their mistake which is not sufficient. Quote it out yourself and do not trust Moved. What a scam!

This is the worst service ever

This is the worst service ever. They overcharge you for everything you can imagine whereas if you contact the mover directly the rates are half of what they charge. Useless company which adds no value for the double amount they charge. What a rip off, stay away. Oh and the customer service is the worst and rude.

The move went exceptionally well

The move went exceptionally well. The three-man crew of movers worked efficiently, diligently and with the utmost care. They were also courteous and respectful and open to suggestions with regard to the positioning of moved items at the storage site. I was delighted with their performance and gave them a tip commensurate with this assessment for which they were very grateful. I would highly recommend your company to anyone who needs to engage movers, Thank you for your extraordinary service!
