Great experience. I was given a program that worked around a tuff trucking schedule that truly helped me to recover from injuries. Im stronger and am not nearly so limited by range of movement. Though... See more

I would have liked to give you a positive review as it looked so good in the add but paid the $27 and not heard from you since - have queried on various platforms whenever I’ve seen the add come up and still no response- hoping that I may finally get someone to answer me!
Trust Pilot - On submitting my review and now having gone through their feedback - don't you think it strange how this company does not respond to the few unfavourable reviews yet only respond to those that are glowing!! This is very questionable! Some of us are left with no response at all and no means of contact to follow up ourselves!

I was desperately "stuck" 14 months ago. I was in constant pain, inflexible, a fall risk. I stumbled on a Vanya you tube. It was like she was talking to me .She described my pain and my frustration! I used to be an above average athlete and now I was on the slippery slope of being pathetic. I am a Grampa of 5...playing on the floor with them was embarrassing. Anyway ...I signed up for Movesmethod ...it seemed like my last chance to rescue myself and my pride. Fast forward to today....all the things I couldn't dream of doing ...eg hand stands against a wall; squatting; various lunges; pull ups; hanging from a bar for 60 sec.....I can now do effortlessly. It didn't happen over night but much of it came quickly. My wife says I no longer stoop over when I walk. I think I could unexpectedly fall and catch myself! I have confidence. Much of this progress I owe to my MM coach Michael Jacobsen. He listens ,advises, but won't listen to whining. He makes sense of the why we do certain moves in certain orders. Simply put...this is the only program ( and I have tried everything from massage to lifting weights to physical therapy to chiropractor etc etc ) that offers me a chance of feeling personal physical dignity. I will never stop doing Movesmethod. I am 78.....Thank you Vanya.

This has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I started Moves Method about a year after a car accident that left me with permanent damage in my dominant hand, wrist and shoulder. I felt physically and mentally at my lowest. Five months later I can say I am so proud of how far I’m come and the consistency I’ve built and continue to build. I’ve been able to adjust my mindset towards what success looks like and how I can build movement into my everyday habits easily. Julia, my coach has been incredible, patient, supportive and knows when I need a little push or when I can give myself some grace. I can say for the first time I am seeing improvement in both my car accident injuries and the chronic ones I have dealt with since I was a kid (headaches, sciatica, IT band pain). My energy and confidence has improved greatly along with my physical strength. I would highly recommend moves method to anyone!

The program is not bad. Not beginner friendly but has some modificazioni ypy can adjust to. The 'call' every bad review talks about is really a sales pitch for an upgrade to 1 on 1 coaching, not a call to facilitate use of the toolkit. Actually the person I talked to kind of said it's useless without the coaching. The 1:1 coaching costs 10000 plus a year. If you say yes on the call it goes to 8400 and you can pay monthly if your credit card allows it. If you say you have to think about it the sales person tells you they have another call. Basically don't waste my time. Too bad, the concept is good but it is just a big selling machine.

I would give 5 stars if you were not so pushy about upselling. I am new but I am all ready feeling better. Thank you!!

I have been doing the Moves Method for about 2 months now and have seen pretty great results so far and am excited to see what I can accomplish next. I’ve been in the “inner circle” group the whole time, which means you have a personal coach for the program which is essentially a remote personal trainer, because I have two old injuries that I didn’t want to make worse. Turns out my body had essentially been making itself worse by avoiding those areas subconsciously.
The program has made the issues associated with them much better already, has given me back stability, strength, and posture that I knew I’d lost and lots that I didn’t realize I’d lost. The main reasons I joined the program were because I had pretty consistent aches and pains and was beginning to have moments in daily life where I felt like I might injure myself more just through instability and weakness, I was beginning to notice I couldn’t necessarily rely on my body as I’d always been able to. Also I love to play golf, and wanted to be sure I would be able to continue to play for as long as possible.
The program is pretty simple, you do some diagnostic movement tests so they can find limitations and build a program to start on with specific mobility exercises and stretches on a schedule. Generally they are not very difficult, some of them are very small movements that almost don’t seem to be doing much but they are working small stabilizer muscles and chains of muscles that just going to the gym and doing the normal weightlifting type workout don’t touch.
You might feel like the movements prescribed aren’t something you can do on first glance but they are once you begin trying. I’ve been very consistent with doing everything in the workouts as close to the instructions as possible and trying to do everything movement and rep with the form and intention that it is supposed to have and I have been genuinely surprised at how much progress I’ve made in a fairly short time with workouts that don’t even seem particularly tough to do.
My posture has improved immensely, especially my hips and shoulders. When I started the program I could only hang from a bar for about 15-20 seconds at a time before I had to let go and this morning I did a hang for 1 minute and 50 seconds! One of my injuries is a separated shoulder, and doing these dead hangs was a little worrisome at first because I could feel things changing in my shoulders but now the shoulder feels much more stable and is probably even stronger than it was when I separated it 10 years ago.
The program has also helped my golf game a lot. Being able to move well is a huge asset to being able to hit consistently solid shots for a full 18 holes. I didn’t realize how little hip mobility I was actually using in my swing until they were more mobile. I can make a much better turn in the backswing with better leg posture to maintain stability and dump power into the downswing. My iron shots are even more consistent and precise than they were before and my driver goes farther with what feels like less effort.
If you’re thinking about trying the moves method, especially with a coach but even just the basic version, I think you should give it a shot. All it takes is consistency, showing up for yourself and doing every bit of the workout that you can do with the form and intention that is prescribed. Also it helps to be vigilant about staying hydrated, getting good sleep, and making good food choices whenever you can. If you put in the effort it will become more of a lifestyle than a gym day you say you’re going to do but then don’t. If you show up for this program the results will show up for you.

The Movesmethod program is the first program I have followed that has been tailored and further fie tuned to my needs. Over the past 12 months I have regained a lot of lost functional movement and a lot of subtle wins along. The way. Balance , stability, improved physical comfort, reduced fear for doing things. I am a very adventurous person and am enjoying getting back to doing all the fun things I was missing.

During a social media scroll sometime this past spring I stumbled across a Movesmethod ad. It wasn’t words that sold me. It was literally how Vanja moved. I saw in her movement a type of flexibility, agility, and capacity I wanted to see in myself again. My body recognized it and was brought back to my childhood years as a gymnast and to my early adult years on a rock climbing wall. I wanted to return to feeling flexible, agile, and capable again. I have recently sold our family farm after losing our lead farmer to cancer. I’ve been actively shedding what is no longer mine to carry to free my energy up for the things my body has longed to return to…hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, etc. I enrolled in MM to build a foundation that would support me in those endeavors. Two weeks ago I went on a pretty rigorous mountain bike ride and fell. While my knee got scraped and bruised, I recovered surprisingly quickly. The exercises are gentle and slow and targeted enough that I could detect right where I felt inclined to guard and could slowly move through those to regain balance. I’ve had some knee problems and my coach/trainer MJ gave me some targeted exercises to do daily that worked wonders. Two days ago I went on a strenuous hike in the PNW Cascade Mountains that involved a lot of steep climbs and descents. I didn’t feel any knee pain at all and felt a lot more mindful of the different muscle groups working in my legs to maintain balance and alignment. I was reluctant to pay additional for the coaching but I do feel it’s been worth it for me to get personalized targeted attention specific to me…and to have the accountability. I’ve been navigating a ton of life transition this spring and early summer months. MJ has helped me get creative with my workouts so that no matter where I’m at or how much time I have, I can fit them in. And it’s paying off. Feeling super grateful about that!

I am 55, menopausal and have MS. I had got to the point where everything was getting harder the more I tried with yoga, Pilates etc. stretching. I had lost my mojo!!
I decided to invest in my mobility because it was different to all the other programs I had seen and Vanya made sense to me.
I got Lorcan and he was amazing for my confidence, level of mobility and general motivation. He knew what I needed to do so I didn’t get overwhelmed and exhausted.
Moves Method has been a literal life saver for me. I am back feeling myself again and I have managed to get consistent again with everything. No more putting things off in more or less most parts of my life, not just the exercise. I move easier and more.
I would highly recommend the programme to anyone lacking confidence in their movement, stiffness and immobility. If the affordability is an issue do 3 months and see the difference. Invest in your health for sure!!

My trainer, Kelli Thomas with Movesmethod, gives me the support and encouragement to move my body after years of being sedentary. She celebrates small wins with me and continues to push me in a kind constructive manner. I feel very fortunate that I found a virtual trainer that I’ve connected with so well.

Jordi was an excellent coach. Adapted my program to my physical challenges and healing goals. In my 3 months with Jordi my main issues with my hip and right knee improved out of sight. From having almost constant awareness and significant periods of soreness and pain too occasional awareness and temporary minor soreness. Continuing on with program sees hip and knee continuing to improve. Thank you Jordi

After sending an initial request to cancel, I waited for a couple of weeks and responded that I hadn’t heard back and requested again to cancel. I did receive a response indicating they couldn’t locate my initial request, hmmm. I’m now being told they are going to send me a refund and I’m grateful. Thank you

First time working with a coach and it’s been great. I have particularly enjoyed the back and forth between the programme and my feedback as I go. Keeps it fresh, interactive and human, allowing even for the smallest of tweaks. Special thanks to Adlai for keeping it real!

I was your regular gym rat. Doing all the traditional bro type workouts. I never missed a day (unless I was injured).
Also, for the last decade, I have thrown my back out two or three times a year. One time even landed me in the hospital for three days, unable to walk or move my legs. I was terrified of my own body, never knowing what move was going to have be in pain and unable to walk again.
My training at the gym was becoming more limited as I tried to protect my back.
When I saw an add for Moves Method, it spoke to me. The things I was doing in the gym were getting me nowhere close to what I was seeing. Could I EVER move my body like that with my low back problems?
I signed up and less than two months in, I am more free than I have been in the last decade. My fear is waining. And when I threw out my back at the beginning of my program, my coach spent more time with me than any dr/physical therapist/nurse/chiropractor has ever spent with me to get me up and moving again. It’s the fastest I have ever recovered! I am literally in awe over what my body can do and that I can live without the constant fear of my back.
I cannot wait to see where else this journey takes me! I have some lofty goals and for the first time in a long time, I believe I will accomplish them.
