When I initially booked the service

When I initially booked the service, I clearly informed them that I had 10 boxes along with other items to move. They assured me that one van and one mover would be sufficient for the job, However, when the movers arrived, things quickly went downhill.

The mover who came to help was incredibly unprofessional and spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner. It felt as though they were doing me a favour instead of providing a service that I was paying for. They were making unnecessary comments that I should handle my own belongings, as if they were the ones paying me to do the job. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially from a company that is supposed to make a stressful experience like moving easier, not worse.

I would strongly not recommend using their services unless you would like to disrespected and frustrated. And yes I am a genuine customer, so please. Don’t give an excuse saying that, I am someone who is here to tarnish your company’s reputation, cause that’s the only excuse you have. For anyone who leaves a honest review.

1. We just did a move for you and it was without any damage.

2. If you had an issue with the driver then you should have contacted the office as advised in the terms and conditions.

3. We spoke with the driver and he said you were just not happy because you were charged extra hour because your hours went over the 2 hours.
You then called the office to complain only after you left a bad review.

4. We are happy that we moved you at VERY GOOD PRICE AND WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Sleazy thieves.

Stole jewellery from our house, made uncomfortable comments about my relationship status and if I was living alone, then proceeded to insist I go to an atm to get £50 cash for them that wasn’t agreed upon and that they wouldn’t let me bank transfer to the main Mr Bee account. Being at the house on my own, I felt pressured into this and didn’t want to argue. When reporting to the manager, the whole situation turned very nasty. An “investigation” was conducted regarding the jewellery in which they simply asked the men “did you steal this” and they said “no”. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - the movers stole three sets of earrings, no apology, nothing. I would suggest reading other review websites (e.g. Yelp) before using this service as it is obviously not the first time things have been stolen from homes. I have reported to the police.

I also spoke to the owner of the business, "Bob" who confirmed nothing will be done about it, so these removal men will likely be sent into more homes in the future.

Nobody, even the police as you said has contacted us about earrings being stolen.

We do not carry loose items, how could earrings go missing?

Booked for 11am, showed up at 1:40pm

Booked a service 2 weeks in advance for 11am - 3pm because I had a friend volunteed for helping but I promised them they could leave by 3:30pm. The day before the service they called me if I could change the time to 9am - 1pm. Obviously not, I planned 2 weeks ago. I couldn't just change the schedule in the last minute. I said no and they said see you tmr at 11am. Guess what? They showed up at 1:40pm. They said their pervious job had a building with no lift service. Well well well. How's that an excuse for a 160 mins delay? They obviously had double-booked the same time slot with another customer other than me. That's why they called last night to ask me to change the time to 9am. They said they would make up the time lost but they couldn't. The job was finished after 4:00pm that day, more than 60 mins later than what was agreed.

Also, in order to catch up the time lost, they did not handle my belongings as carefully as they should had. They broke one handle of my luggage, two clothes carrying bags, not to mention I paid extra 5pounds for a mattress cover and the mattress ended up with leaves and dusts all over it.

I tried to ask for an hour compensation but they refused . They said they couldn't control the last job had a huge delay, which was a lie. They could totally avoid it by not take another job that obviously was having a time coflict with mine, with the fact that I booked them 2 weeks ago.

I will not recommend this bad time management removals team to anyone that think punctuality is a serious matter. Feel like (and actually) I am cheated. Avoid at all cost please.

Listen to the poor reviews.

I made the mistake of not paying attention to the one-star reviews this service is getting.

They didn't complete the job. They told me upon arriving at the new place that they didn't get to the bathroom due to not having a big enough van (for my small, one-bedroom flat), which I ultimately okayed, but they also left things everywhere. Entire drawers filled with cutlery and clothes, untouched.

(This was after they turned up without enough products to actually do the packing - apparently I was supposed to tell them specifically what to bring, which is not what their competitors expect and wasn't explained to me beforehand. I was forgiving at the time because I assumed it was just a miscommunication, but with everything else...)

I called, and they asked me to take pictures and send them over. I took pictures - items left all over the floor, drawers untouched, etc. No response. Checked in multiple times over the next month. I received one email ensuring me that they would get back to me by that Friday, but of course nobody ever emailled back again. One last email from me, and now I've given up. They're clearly just hoping I'll stop complaining.

There are better companies for the same rate. Don't stop looking yet.

Very careful

Very handy & took great care of my things while moving out of storage.
They were quite knowledgeable with moving & I felt confident they would take care of my things.
However, the job took 3 hrs 45 mins (with my help) but I was charged 5 hrs. And they didn’t seem too happy to build my desk even though I requested assembly services in the quote and was still well within the booking time hence a deduction of 2 stars

Absolutely disgusting scam of a…

Absolutely disgusting scam of a company. They try to squeeze money out of you by taking advantage of you. I am a student and booked a removal from London to Coventry. When requesting their services on email I inquired what the quote would be. To which I was told, it was £90 per hour.
In its entirety, the removal was stressful and poorly managed. The management did not bother inform the driver of my address and phone number despite assuring me on email that they put it on “record” 3 weeks ago. As a result, the driver had to waste almost 20 minutes locating my address. I also had to call the driver myself by getting his number through the Mr. B’s receptionist to give him my number and ensure he could contact me.
It took the driver 3 hours to get to Coventry from London but I was told I needed to pay £630 for the removal. Bear in mind, I didn’t have any heavy items such as a tv or a large wardrobe. Only a few boxes with clothes and some kitchen items.
Why did I need to pay for 7 hours when I only used their services for 3 hours?
I tried discussing this with the owner Mr B - who was extremely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. Mr. “B”, I must inform you that calling your customers a liar, and cutting your customers off by shouting over them when they try to speak to you is not providing customer service. Mr. Bee you have 0 integrity or morals - looking for disgraceful ways to make money by taking advantage of your customers will never make your pathetic company successful.
I must admit the driver who did the removal (Thomas) was kind and patient. He also sympathized that the management was taking advantage by charging me for 7 hours when I utilized their services for 3 hours.

Friendly, super-efficient, careful

This morning two excellent men helped with my flat move and I can’t applaud them enough. Every house move can be stressful and indeed I was rather stressed when they showed up to get me moving. But they were very friendly and relaxed, with an excellent manner about them - they knew customer service and were likeable guys. I was relieved that everything from my studio flat fitted in the one medium Luton van - my flat contained a lot more furniture and books than the average person’s studio, as I had lived there 15 years. I had many boxes of heavy art books (why do they make them so heavy?) and felt terrible about the two chaps having to carry so many down the steps. And the double wardrobe was not an easy thing to manoeuvre into the new flat, with its lower ceilings and tight corners, but they took great care not to scratch any surfaces and clever pivoting of it got it upright. I was astonished by how much they achieved in a short space of time - we had 15 minutes to spare in the three hour schedule, which was impressive. I very much recommend using Mr Bee Removals, and this is to say thanks to the two chaps earlier today (Friday 31 May).

Moved container contents.

Mr Bee 🐝 recently moved the contents of my container from one end of the country to the other. I was kept informed all the time and the team were courteous, polite and careful with my items. Highly recommended.

After two emails and 3 phone calls. My deposit has not been returned. Anyone that would like to see the email thread from me to Mr Bee’s removal company may do so.. just reply here and I’ll repost.

I halted the removal at 3 days away from the removal and expected a return based upon their own policies stated on the emails. I was told I’d receive a call and return of deposit (on phone) and still to this day 8 weeks later, they are ignoring me.
If you’re in the area, go for PRESTIGE REMOVALS. They are awesome!

Wonderful experience

The three gentleman where expected at 8am they where there by 7:45; they worked non-stop loading our things, they took care of them and they where handled and treated with respect. I would have no problem in referring your company to anyone else. Thank you

Worst removals company going

Worst removals company going! Avoid at all costs
Broke my tv unit and chipped my glass mirror. The driver then turned round and said they didn’t break my TV Unit and called me a liar when I have witnesses .
Driver was on his phone to gain and extra hour. Told me i had to pay immediately even though I wasn’t happy with the service . They wouldn’t leave leave till I’ve paid. Very intimidating and rude staff members .
I’ve rung the office, asked to speak to a manager . I’ve been refused to speak to a manager. The worst customer services, Ive been laughed at by the man in the office. Told me they won’t resolve this and to take them to small claims court. I asked them for the public liability. They refused to give me that information I had someone else call them directly. They kept hanging the phone up to them. I’ve sent them a letter with a 14 days notice to give me the money to replace my damage goods, i will be taking them to court. Rip off company DO NOT USE

Very professional

I used Mr Bee Removals to move flats and everything went really well, they arrived on time, were very polite, quick and professional. Really nice people to deal with from getting a quote to answering all your queries. I'd definitely recommend and use Mr Bee Removals again.
