Three top guys from Mr Shifter arrived to load our things and take to their storage premisses. Thes guys could not have done any more than they did... Incredible service all round .... Ide recommend Mr Shifter to anyone. :-)

I have used this company 3 times now each move has been professionally undertaken by their staff who have always been polite and helpful and very careful with my furniture I would certainly use Mr Shifter again.

Awful experience for My Elderly Mum. She paid for a removal that never took place. Try to keep it brief as its a long story but never received any terms and conditions which apparently we have not kept too. We cancelled with 10 days notice and no further booking made, so no further loss to the Company. I was then advised that a £100 refund on a £380 booking would be made, nothing received.

We paid for the full service which included dismantling beds and wardrobes and rebuilding at the other end and although it wasn’t cheap it was well worth it. The guys were fantastic and couldn’t have done a better job . We were downsizing from a 5 bed to a 4 bed so there was a hell of a lot to move and they managed it in one day . They came 2 days earlier to pack most the stuff ready to go . I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We first used Mr Shifter over 30 years ago and when it came to our son moving home only natural to use again. Arrived at time advised , carefully loading room by room, with the same unloading into new home. Very courteous and pleasant, a job well done. Good to see a local company still offering the same great service for over 30 years 👏

I had lived in my house for 45 years and had a lot to move the lovely lads worked their socks off they were friendly, respectful of my property and such hard workers. The whole company is highly recommended.

Mr. Shifter moved our possessions to our current abode four years ago. They made the process easy and stress free, the crew were brilliant. In October last year we had an emergency to move my parents into new accommodation.
Mr Shifter came to the rescue within a week to move them.
The lads were thoughtful and considerate and professionals to say the least.

The whole team at Mr. Shifters were brilliant, from the initial planning through to the delivery. The Removal team were totally professional, ensuring everything was packed onto the truck carefully and securely. The unloading due to Hurricane Anna proved a huge challenge for the original Removal Team, and were given additional support from other members of Mr. Shifters due to the horrendous conditions. They were fantastic! Thanks hugely for a really great service.

At relatively short notice Mr Shifter moved us from North Yorkshire to Northumberland. The guys arrived early and had everything loaded within 2 hours. They were respectful of our belongings and of the neighbours in the street. Met up with them again after the 2 hour drive - they were waiting for us and then they unloaded everything into each room that we requested. No breakages at all and they even took apart and reassembled the wardrobes for us. Clothes racks were very helpful too. Great guys and a fantastic experience from start to finish.
