Turned up for the dreaded mot. The guys at Mr tyre took it straight in.they were pleasant and carful with customer and car.i have used Mr tyre for many years and have never had cause for complaint. Thumbs up to all of the guys that work extremely hard there.

After booking in for a MOT knowing both front tyres needed replacing I assumed Mr Tyre was a safe bet to obviously replace the tyres after MOT.

My appointment was booked in at 3.30pm and I dropped the car off around 11am as I work very close to the depot.

I received a phone call at approximately 12.30 to inform me that my car had failed the MOT due to the front right tyre needing replacing which I already knew hence why I went to Mr Tyre.

I was then told by the receptionist that Mr Tyre didn’t have replacement tyres for my very common Nissan car and wouldn’t be available until Tuesday.

The only fail on my MOT was the tyres.

I then rang back and told the receptionist that I could pick the car up and get the tyre replaced and bring the car back for a retest.

Having picked the car up and returning within the hour I was treated like a stranger and informed my original 3.30pm booking had then been taken and no more bookings were available until Tuesday.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and the attitude of the receptionist especially as I’ve been bringing cars for services and Mots for a number of years.

Word of mouth for small businesses is very important and unless I get an apology I won’t be putting your business across in a good light.

If you could have provided the new tyre as Mr Tyre I would have just bought it from you there and then.

I can highly recommend Mr Trye. I have been going to them for years. They are always friendly, quick and reasonably priced. I've had MOT, services, tyres and brakes all of which have been spot on.

Booked in my Seat Ibiza 20 year old car for MOT & surprisingly found a 1 hour slot for 2 days following my search. I accepted, took my car and was invited to sit in reception area as my car was immediately taken for its test.
A few advisories, plus failure on one tyre and a bulb which was almost immediately rectified and MOT Certificate issued.
Tyre & bulb replacement was very competitively priced and I was a very happy bunny.
They took the time explaining the advisories and gave me hints, on sorting these before MOT in a years time.
Highly praised for the service I received. Professional, Bang on time, and friendly was my experience.
