Overall we had a great experience. Ship was lovely and very clean. Only issue was that some service could be slow both in the main dining room and at the bars. We had paid for the Aurea experience and... See more

Overall a simply stunning experience. Only downfall was the over crowded pool area and the busy buffet area could be quite chaotic at times. Would suggest a one way system which would save people bumping into each other .
Good value for money and overall a great cruise with largely great service and friendly staff

Great staff, itinerary, food and entertainment. What is not to like!
The itinerary taking us to 3 Alaskan ports, Victoria CA and Seattle was fantastic. Highly recommend MSC, this was our 8th cruise with them and we have had such a great time on each.
Good entertainment teams & serving variety of foods & deserts, very happy with it
We were travailing with our family one of which has food alleges. The restaurant manager PINO who was supposed to look after this totally incompetence and had no idea about alleges trying to serve salad with nuts on to a person allergic to nuts. After complain at reception and had the mater escalated to senior management level we were moved to another restaurant where Elior Razafimandimby Head Waiter Madagascar was put in charge of her alleges and was fabulous and went above and beyond to serve us I have nothing but praise for him.
1- the design of the ship. I felt although a big ship similar to another we have been on, it sacrifices the size of communal areas for putting more cabins and people. This made communal areas always busy with no place to sit.
2- shows were simple. Entertainment is poor
3- catering food for vegans. Almost every day lunch and dinner was lentil dhal and vegetable curry in the market place. While in the dining room it’s pasta in tomato sauce (actually taken children menu) and tomato soup.
4- disorganised getting in and out of the ship (especially tendering in south Queensferry, where we waited in queues for 1 hour 10 min). It seems crew help in creating queues unnecessarily.
These are the main points but there are other.
The sail was very choppy although I’m not sure if it was the ship design or the North Sea itself
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars Wonderful experience, with two important areas for improvement
We had a truly fantastic holiday with MSC Virtuosa overall, and we would like to begin by thanking the entire team for making our trip so special. The staff were absolutely incredible, friendly, and hardworking, and we were made to feel so welcome just like being at home.
There are two main reasons I have given 4 stars instead of 5, and these are the areas where we feel improvements would make a huge difference for families.
Security and boarding process (Queensferry Port, Scotland)
While we fully understand that safety and security checks are essential, we were quite disappointed by the lack of priority for families travelling with babies and young children. We had to stand in very long queues for a long time, even with a small baby. It becomes very difficult for parents, and the children often get tired, upset, or distressed, which is also uncomfortable for everyone else waiting. We strongly believe that families with infants should be given priority access to board first. This simple change would reduce stress for everyone and make the process so much smoother.
Kids’ playroom restrictions
We also feel it is very important to review the opening times for the children’s play area. Currently, access is restricted i.e, it is closed before 2:00 PM. In our opinion, all children deserve the chance to play and enjoy the facilities at any time of the day, whenever it suits their family’s schedule. Removing these time restrictions would make a big difference to family holidays, as play is such an important part of the experience for little ones.
Apart from these points, everything else was excellent. The food, service, and hospitality were outstanding, and we met so many wonderful staff members who went above and beyond for us special thanks to Mr Asiz Farias, Luisa Morato Alanso, Jason Desouza, Harmo Fernandes, Cassie Fernandes, Samson Pereira, Brian Madziva, and photographer Mr DSouza, who were all absolutely brilliant.
We hope MSC will take this feedback on board. With these small but meaningful changes, your service would be truly perfect for families. Thank you.

Loved the ship . Food , drink , staff excellent . We were let down by the Itinerary , booked Norwegian Fords and didn’t get to see any . Felt we had been misled but maybe should have done our homework! First time on this ship though and had a great time.

Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough. Beautiful cabin. Good choice of food and specialist restaurants.
Was not a Fjord Cruise, actually just a cruise to Norway. However the staff on board were amazing so friendly and helpful, a credit to MSC.
The ship is beautiful. The staff are friendly. The buffet and the main dining restaurants offered an incredible selection of delicious food. The cruise was excellent value for money.
Use better case tags not paper ones better selection of food not all cheese and pizzas different menus and allergy information given to staff and labels of what’s in product more tickets and boats so people can get off boat as limited time don’t charge for bottles sparkling water when it’s says it’s free don’t give your credit card on ap as you tend to have a bigger bill
