Excellent accommodation and facilities - beautiful countryside and villages to visit. Highly recommended.

Our experience with your company was good and we wouldn’t hesitate to use you again for the ease of booking and quick service we had, but unfortunately the accommodation wasn’t well described so we ended up in what was someone’s back garden with a man staring at us from his jeep each morning making us feel very uncomfortable! And watching lots of wildlife including rats.
The decking was also way past it’s best resulting in my husband slipping on it and hurting his back.

Amazing place, great for big groups, especially if you go with kids!

Our cottage welcomed us fully heated and with a very nice supply of bread, cheese, milk, butter, wine, biscuits, chocolates, coffee, tea and sugar. Fantastic... we could relax upon arrival without having to haste to the next shop.
The cottage is tastefully decorated and clean. You can see that the owners really work hard to make their guests feel at home.

A lovely time at our Mulberry Cottage with friendly and helpful staff. House was lovely with everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Staff very helpful. Dealt very efficiently with all our queries. Maintained good liaison between us and the owner of the property.
Little friction over invoicing but soon sorted out.
Pity there has to be two layers of "middle men" (Mulberry and HomeAway) as this significantly bumped up the overall cost by about 25%... so that worked out at £2K for two nights - just a bit steep so clients should be aware of what the FINAL cost could be - it's not necessarily the cost first advertised. Another piece of advice: ask to view the property BEFORE you pay the deposit. We didn't think to do that as the house we rented was the size we needed and only 15 mins down the road from us - and, luckily, turned out to be superb - but clients could come unstuck if they don't view first.

Great Service! Great Company! and a Great Owner!

The views were stunning from our little cottage in Sussex. The owner left us a nice bottle of wine that we enjoyed with some exquisite crackers.

I cant wait to stay again.

Service great. Property not as nice as the impression from the web page. Clean and tidy but a little disappointing.

Ideal location - close to Hastings and Rye, but well off the beaten track. On our arrival, were given a warm and supportive welcome, and we later found an extensive welcome pack to keep us going until we could reach the supermarket. Similarly, we found all other facilities well-stocked (kitchen area, TV, etc). Cottage is compact and cosy, but by no means claustrophobic, and access to lakes and so on was great, too.

We booked this house for our yearly easter vacation for 2 reasons, A it was advertised as dog friendly with a 2,5 acre garden and B it had a tennis court.
When we arrived the lady told us we needed to be very careful to never let our dog of the lead as alone in the past week 2 dogs had been shot by local farmers as they get through the fences and scare the sheeps ! I understand the issue with life stock but therefor this place should not be advertised as dog friendly in any way which ever way if you have to fear for your dogs life.
The garden that was supposed to be 2,5 acre was not existing, there was a patio are with a pool and a tiny gras area and a long drive ( about 10 minutes walk) ,leading to the road, so i assume the drive was included in the definition for " garden"
The tennis court was unusable as it was overgrown with moss and weeds !
The space in the house was brilliant, great kitchen and lounge but for the price we would have expected to have ironed bed linen and most of all clean sheets, one of the beds needed to be changed as it was very dirty.
The lady who welcomed us was lovely and helpful but sadly due to the fact of being worried our dog would get shot this sadly is not a place we could recommend for dog lovers and not where we would return to again.

Apple Fish is a lovely spacious bungalow and we enjoyed our time there. It would have been helpful to have something to hold onto getting in and out of the bath. We really appreciated how quickly the owners responded when the television didn't work.

The cottage was as advertised, of good quality and clean. There was a little concern as we had never used Mulberry Cottages before and our cottage was withdrawn from their website after we booked it so that we could not look at the detail. Once we drew their attention to this, Mulberry did put it back online but I was a little anxious as to whether there would be an issue with our booking. We were also told that the agency would hold a £300 deposit on our card and as we had never come across this when booing several cottages a year, we were a little concerned. However, once again this came to nought. From then on everything went well and we were really happy with our cottage. Hope we can use it again.
