Over the last few months I’ve shopped here on numerous occasions. I had a bit of a hiccup with an old guitar I took in but after a conversation the owner Tony really stepped up. My 31 year old fender... See more

Happy customer.
Just bought my holy grail guitar from these guys. A Gretsch 6120. Helpful and attentive staff. Arrived well packed and I'm a happy customer. Well done.
Excellent service and super friendly…
Excellent service and super friendly staff. Best shopping experience ever.
Fast delivery and great service!
Purchased a Gibson R7 Gold Top online and it arrived the next day, very well packed too! Excellent service, very happy!
Five Star!
By far the most stress-free and enjoyable guitar purchase I ever made! Outstanding customer service, attentive and knowledgeable staff, great selections of guitars, bright and welcoming atmosphere and most importantly, got my Maton at a very competitive price. A special shout out to Andy who made this experience an unforgettable one. I'll be coming to your store for my guitar needs in the future!
Seagull Guitar Purchase
I purchased a Seagull S6 acoustic guitar from Music Street last weekend. I did spend quite a while in the store choosing the right guitar and the people working at the store were incredibly helpful and patient. Even giving me advice on recording, what plectrum to use and the best microphone position. Personal service like this is really quite hard to find these days so wanted to commend it.
All good until you need a new nut.
One of my guitars had tuning problems so I took it in the shop for a new nut having had great experiences in the shop in the past and no experience changing a nut myself. However, a Saturday worker made a complete mess of the job taking a chunk out of the neck on each side, leaving a gap between the nut and the headstock finish revealing the truss rod and glue all over the fretboard. I received my guitar like that, told them about it as it was my favourite guitar and they said they'd fix it. However for about 2 and a half months and 3 times taking it back I gave up and have resorted to selling my guitar for less than half the price I bought it for in order to replace the damaged guitar.
Second to none music shop, Great Gear and impeccable service.
I've been using the shop for over 10 years now, these guy's have always been very helpful, friendly and highly knowledgeable. They've always helped source guitars and other gear that i've wanted. easily the best music shop that i've ever used and dealt with. if its a first time guitar to buying your childhood dream guitar, these guys will try their best to help you achieve what you want.
Music shop? More like my guitar storeroom!
I've shopped with these guys for at least 10 years now and they have never let me down, not even once. Always a good welcome whether you spend 80p on a plectrum or thousands on a classic guitar and they spend as much care and attention on both. Will order you anything you want in any colour you like (knew Id get a bit of Floyd in here) and keep you upto date on deliveries or delays. Need advice; no problem, they have a range of staff who are outstanding musicians in their own right who are only too aware of the needs of the aspiring student, weekend widdler or professional player. Need to px or exchange or get a repair; all no problem at all. What I personally find most refreshing is the attitude that 'next best' aint good enough; they won't try to sell you anything just to get a sale - rare these days.
Would I shop anywhere else now - damn right I would, Waitrose do Foxes choccy biscuits - not for guitars I wouldn't>
THE only music shop I use!
These guys have become one of if not the best shops around!
Great prices, great gear, great staff and one of the few shops that will go out of their way to help you even with something they don't normally stock.
If you live in Cambridgeshire it's a no brainer.....hell if you live anywhere in the UK it's a no brainer!
Knowledge personified!
When you don't know the first thing about music and need some help understand how to get set up, walking into a shop can be quite daunting.
However, being well received by staff and spoken to like a human, NOT an idiot was a huge relief. After a long chat about music, as well as other things that dropped into conversation (as they do), i can now say i am a lot more comfortable and looking forward to going back and getting my instruments and equipment so i can get my new hobby on the road.
The knowledge this crew have is phenomenal as well as incredibly helpful. I loved listening to all the different bits and bobs which made me realise, there is so much more to music than meets the eye (which only fascinated me more!)
All in all i had a great experience, made a few friends and i look forward to going back in.
A brilliant shop with great gear, great service, and great prices.
I was pleasantly surprised with the inviting atmosphere of Musicstreet, and it was nothing like the patronizing vibe you get when entering some top music stores. The staff are all so friendly and willing to offer guidence to anyone from beginners to experienced musicians. What's more, the quality of their gear is hard to beat, and there are very few shops that can compete with their huge collection of Fender and Gibson guitars. I would recommend this shop to any music enthusiast, whether they are looking to buy, sell, browse, or simply just talk music!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Top quality music gear with something for everyone backed up by Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. worth a visit just to look at the extensive Gibson range alone! p.s forgot to mention the after sales service is second to none! Keep up the good work .
regards Dave Reid
