The app has cool features. Be able to transcript and sync the lyrics with the music word by word of the songs of my favorite bands its awesome

horrible website... super buggy and can't do simple tasks. super laggy and a scam. why do I have to pay extra when I already pay someone to distribute my music. this is just a money grab...

It is a great tool and right now I am busy uploading and syncing my album "Wonderful Tonight".

It took a long time to get back into the system. Then my repeating problem was looking to use the AI for lyrics/syncing. Problems:-

Uploading from Apple not possible without having a subscription. Spotify was mentioned but no link shown so this was frustrating because I have a subscription.
Next alternative was for me to upload a file but try as hard as I liked there was no way for me to get to the specific area in "FILES" in my download folder on my TM android where I had saved the studio tracks.
Finally, to my amazement the tracks were actually already linked to the album that I had identified at earlier stage and showed up perfectly on each track that I was handling lyrics. BUT BUT impossible to link the track to your AI process so I am doing everything manually.

I am an independent Artist so have no problem to introduce lyrics and syncing etc. But at the outset when we identify the ALBUM and you automatically sinc to the tracks then there needs to be a clear option of how you can move from that initial stage into AI help rather than the prompts to upload or go to APPLE which is a duplication?

I try to be helpful. maybe I missed something right at the beginning since I am not frequently in the system.

They give a chance to people to earn some money by working on lyrics ; and they also give a very complete app that helps a lot with lyrics and good music

Musixmatch is good, easy to use and have got good features for music lyrics

Songs and singing along make my life much more enjoyable.

I really enjoy seeing the lyrics to the songs I listen to in sync. I like the tools that come with the app, too.
The only things I don’t like about the site are how I can’t edit certain songs that were messed with a decade ago and are completely incorrect (lyrics from another song, incorrect formatting, and missing parts of the song) and how glitchy the site is sometimes. I’ll sometimes add something, and then it won’t show up.
If I could give a more specific rating, I would rate Musixmatch a 4.6.

i’m loving it

The interface looks great, and I like the lyric editing and syncing tools.

But the platform struggles with basic SaaS reliability.

Drafts don’t always save properly, and sometimes older versions overwrite newer work.

I’ve lost hours redoing syncs because of this.

It feels like the system doesn’t consistently store or update the latest version, which makes it hard to trust.

For what users are paying—especially given this platform's near-monopoly on synced lyrics—there should be more customization.

Instead of focusing on AI generation gimmicks, they should improve the templates, waveforms, and overall video editing flexibility.

It’s an admirable platform, but the current user experience is frustrating and unreliable.

I appreciate you reaching out here so quickly. Unfortunately, the complaint I submitted before this review about the "Correct Punctuation" formatting suggestion still hasn't been addressed.

Furthermore, if there was an issue with saving drafts, that should have been communicated. I wasted many hours.

Your paying customers deserve better support and transparency for what we're paying.

I just find the experience to be very easy to use.

What first seems free ends up being expensive — and maybe even impossible if you do the work yourself. Yuck! Musixmatch is a bit too money-hungry. They’ve got a deal with Spotify giving them a monopoly on adding lyrics to music — for free. Besides automatically starting to charge, it’s also taken them a month to approve me as an artist. Still waiting. They just want money.

Awesome. UI is so easy to use. Like no other. Even manual syncing is so easy to do and correct.

Musixmatch is horrible. Many of my favorite songs on Spotify doesn't even have lyrics, have wrong lyrics, or the song isn't even synced to the lyrics. Lyrics are the most basic thing to a music streaming service, yet Musixmatch lacks so much when it comes to providing lyrics. Additionally, why are we having curators trying to write lyrics? Some lyrics are literally outright wrong and weird.

I have just about had it with this platform! I have been trying for HOURS to have a few of my songs removed from my discography as they are old versions of songs that I had remixed, remastered, and rereleased. I want to be able to add lyrics to the new version without having it auto redirect to the old version. I have reached out to support through the Get Help button on the bottom of the page and it has been a week of no replies. I have even tried messaging them again today STILL NO REPLY. I have even tried looking for an email to email them and came up empty handed, I wish that there was an actual way to talk to a person without having to go through unhelpful FAQs and automated assistants that don't even help.

Note: I have also tried to redo the prompts with the AI assistant and it will not work, it will not reply nor will it let me even let me create a new chat or anything. None of my old lyrics will even let me edit them.

But it’s not adding it to my roster it’s just showing me that I should verify another accounts contribution or attempt to add the lyrics for which was my account but it didn’t work cos my artist wasn’t claimed and now I wanna publish lyrics it with the proper account and it’s doing that
