My LHD Car France Reviews 

This is the second time that I have used my LHD Car France. The first was when moving from the UK to Catalonia and we needed a left hand drive car. It worked out so well that 4½ years later, I have just part exchanged it back to them. I used them for a second time because we wanted a Lexus LC500h and they are so rare and expensive in Spain, that it made sense to import one from France. I have just taken delivery of the car and am delighted. Thanks Joe and the team.

We are now the owners of a fully registered, insured LHD automatic Dacia Sandero with French plates, that started life in Sweden, was delivered to our address in the UK & is now garaged in the Dordogne! We have had the car for a number of months now, but it takes a while for the French temporary registration to become permanent, so it is only now our business with My LHD has concluded. To achieve all the above, all I had to do was write some emails, fill in some forms, pay the money & let Joel know when I would be in France. Joel sorted the rest. My LHD & Joel especially were very knowledgeable, flexible, & quick to respond, & delivered a car that has had much usage this summer & I am sure will continue to give us much flexibility for many years to come.

26th September 2022.
In August this year we contacted Joel from my lhd, and expressed we were looking for a French registered van to assist with our move to France and then to be converted to a camper. Joel explained that vans were in short supply and values were high. A few days after this we saw a 2019 peugeot boxer In blue at a dealership in france whilst we were searching the Internet. It appeared perfect for our needs. After letting Joel know he was familiar with the dealership and got on it for us. We received a video walk round of the interior and exterior and decided it was the van for us. Joel sorted everything with the dealer and arranged delivery to our UK address for 27th August. He put us in contact with an insurance company offering UK and France insurance and they had an English speaking representative. All went well and we received the van on the specified day and the driver was great despite being held up at customs for hours. The van is loaded and ready for the first trip in October.
We couldn't be happier with the vehicle and service offered, apart from my obsessive nature for advanced detail was not always addressed, but as the purchase progressed all my concerns were answered.

I came across My LHD car whilst trying to find a solution for our situation. We wanted a left hand drive VW campervan that would be registered in France without hassle and that could be delivered to the UK so we could drive it down to south of France as part of our relocation to this part of the world. The complexities with registration and requirements between the different countries meant that we could not solve this on our own!

This was no easy task for Joel as many campervans were conversions rather than originals which would not have passed French registration requirements. In addition, the prices of these vehicles at the moment are through the roof! Joel looked in France, in the UK and in the end we settled on a German vehicle. I think we must have exchanged over 100 emails but Joel did not give up, even working through his holidays to meet our deadline. As I type this, our new beautiful VW california beach is on our drive and ready for its adventure to France. Thank you for all your help Joel, I don't know how you remained so patient!

Massively overpriced for each and every car. Search locally to save a lot of money. For example, a Honda CRV locally is 8k and an equivalent via my LHD is 13k+. Granted, there is convenience of volume and my lhd has decent stock but the premium is horrific.

We had issues with a LHD car we had bought elsewhere, and although Joe had nothing to do with the car or the sale, he spent a long time helping us work out the situation. Joe has extensive knowledge on EU laws regarding buying and selling LHDs and actually saved us a whole lot of money. I couldn’t recommend the company enough. If you are thinking of buying a LHD this is the place to go. Thanks again Joe!

Joe did what you'd hope everyone would do.... listened to exactly my situation, tailored his service to those needs, made everything easy, was flexible when required, and provided me with a great motor at a very fair price.

Joe at My LHD Car France was absolutely fantastic. We were looking for a LHD car to move abroad. His communication over Message service was instant, clear & extremely accommodating. He even cancelled a personal appointment to allow us to view the car in our time availability. We viewed the car the next early morning where Joe gave & showed us the fully history, a descriptive walk around & test drive. Joe got the sale & we got the car at a vey good price! I highly recommend My LHD Car France & especially Joe, he was very knowledgeable & experienced but also a lovely personable guy who made what is usually a long drawn out process, a very easy, pleasurable one.

Fabulous service! Joel has been utterly amazing from start to (almost) finish. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for at a great price and has been so helpful throughout the entire process - and he's going to send us all the paperwork with the new registration when we get to France in about 7 weeks time too! Could not have been more responsive or helpful. And Ferdinand and Jennifer who bought the car to us today were delightful. What a great service - could not recommend enough. Very happy customer :-)

Joel has far exceeded his obligations to help us negotiate the very difficult and frustrating tasks of purchasing and importing vehicles into Italy. He searched the EU to source the vehicles we wanted to the exact model and colour specifications. He continued to provide a service well after the vehicles were delivered and no longer stood to gain any financial benefit. I'd recommend My LHD car France to anyone trying to buy a European car whether you are in the UK or have already made your move to the continent.

Joel supported us prior to the purchase of a Volkswagen Multivan. We approached him with a very open plan of a 7 seater family vehicle, but didn’t really have a true idea of what we wanted or needed. With much support and advice Joel helped us to narrow down what we were after, and set about finding a smaller number of quality options for us to ponder. This was a really interesting process and we never felt pushed into a corner like some car dealers can, and always felt listened too. Thanks Joel

Jo was helpful at all times and because of the amount of money to buy a car we'd never seen on the internet it was scary.
He kept in touch at all times and eventually we got there and we are happy with the car.

We have been very pleased with the service received from Joel at My LHD car France. He found us a fantastic Hyundai Tucson, organised the temporary registration, had it delivered to our UK address ready for our move to live in France. Once in France Joel arranged the permanent registration documents, even booking the french equivalent of an MOT for us.

I needed a decent left hand drive car on French plates delivered to me in the UK so I was able to sell my RHD car in the UK and drive back in the new car to France.
MyLHD website has a great car selection. Chose what I wanted and after paying the deposit, had it delivered to my door. Paid the balance, all good 10/10
Car came with a CT (MOT) valid for 2 years and the full history. It had been recently serviced. 10/10
The French reg plate was a temporary 'WW' which was valid for 4 months.
MyLHD applied for the carte grise for me when I'd returned to France and it arrived within a week of the application going in. 10/10
All I had to do was get a set of new plates made up and fitted at a local garage.
Overall MyLHD kept me informed and assisted me with the many questions I asked them as this was the first time I'd bought a car like this. Would buy from them again. p.s the car is great
