We are very pleased with the surin side tables, they are quite the talking point with their natural wood curves, waxed to a beautiful finish. The whole process was easy from ordering through to delivery. If you like the styles and share the philosophy of this company, then I encourage you to order from Myakka.

I ordered the nest of 3 tables for my living room, I thought they looked good value & when they arrived they came up to expectations.
The workmanship is good & the wood grain unusual, well put together & well packed.
The customer services rang to confirm delivery, which is a nice touch!

I absolutely love many of the furniture items in the catalogue and will be making more purchases when we move into our new house in a couple of months albeit I will have to restrict myself for the cheque books!!

I decided to purchase some of the candles (being a great lover of candles). I am fussy about which candles I purchase as the cheap ones don't last very long or smell particularly strong. These are gorgeous in smell and quality and they look nice too even when not lit.

Updates on my order and delivery were all very good and efficient.

I recently bought a Zanzibar footstool for my daughter's birthday. It was exactly as we had hoped, great quality and design. We can finally put our feet up!

We needed a small table to sit next to our sofa and the dimensions of the surin table fitted exactly. When it arrived we were absolutely delighted, the design, quality and look was just fantastic and completely fitted our other furniture and what a really substantial piece of furniture, a true credit to the craftsman.

We were impressed with the prompt acknowledgement of our order and follow up with delivery details which enabled us to plan our day. The best part however is the height which is exactly right when reclining on the sofa enjoying a glass of wine.

I bought this Library Table as a 17th birthday present for my book-loving grandaughter. 'Wow, that's really cool, Grandma!' was her comment. She loves it and has installed it next to her bed.

The table is a work of art and very sturdy. It was delivered within a couple of days, in plenty of time for the special day.

We are really pleased with our table runner. It was absolutely gorgeous and looks lovely in our dining room. Very nice quality. Lots of what looks to be intricate work. I was very pleased it was fairtrade which is why I particularly picked this one. Although it is Indian, it suited our African type furniture. I have not seen a nicer table runner anywhere and I have been looking for various houses for many years.

Ordered a bed, which turned up with rusted screws and fixings that weren't screwed in properly. The carvings weren't great quality either. Eventually received a replacement which was much better in respect of the fixings and the carving, however one of the slats was broken on arrival. Delivery company were surly and pushed my wife into helping carry heavy pieces upstairs. Very disappointed. Eventually got money back but no compensation for all the hassle.

We ordered several items including a large mirror which we wanted to swap to a small mirror and return another item as the colour was different to the brochure. Myakka charged us £15 for the new delivery and £30 return, which I was disappointed with as both were happening simultaneously, but they said it was down to their courier. During the new delivery they wanted to return the new smaller mirror they had just delivered! The whole process is slow and almost a week on I still don't have a refund. The quality of some items is good, but the dark surin twist tables seem heavily stained to the point of stickiness and I've now noticed one corner is split.

When you are billed in full at time of order . . .when you are promised delivery in 10 weeks, but it takes 20 ... when you never get an update without asking . . . When your polite requests for delivery dates are met with surly responses . . . When the assembly instructions are jibberish . . . When doors don't close and parts are missing . . . And when you never get a single apology . . . Would YOU buy from Myakka again? We won't.

I have bought many items from Myakka over the years- a television cabinet, a trunk table, a cupboard and two sets of chair cushions plus lanterns, rugs and other home accessories. I have always been extremely impressed with both the products and the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Over the past couple of years we have bought a chest of drawers, a child's chair, a TV unit, a hall seat/storage unit and a shelf with coat hooks from Myakka. All arrived in perfect condition except for the shelf/coat hooks which had a chip, but which they promptly replaced. The delivery people were great and took all the packaging away, no hurrying us while we checked things over. The furniture is beautiful and solid (we always get compliments on it, especially the child's giraffe chair and the hall seat) and I think good value for money. We have our share of flat-pack stuff but this is in a different league and you can see it will last forever.

I have bought many items from Myakka, including the latest piece - the Surin Infinity Table - all of which have been of the highest quality. The service has always been excellent both in the shop and over the phone. I would recommend them to anyone.
