Myer - Rose and Makerita from Hub - Thank you!

I lost my Apple Airpods Pro on Sunday 8/2 when shopping in Sydney City area, I thought to give it a try to search the shop went to see if I could get it back. Myer customer service lady (Level 2) Rose and Makerita from Hub help me. I am so happy when I get my airpods back. Thank you so much Rose and Makerita!!! Your kindness are very much appreciated!

Wrong mattress delivered and poor customer service

I ordered a Sealy Kota Flex Firm Mattress from Myer online on 12/01/2026. Almost a month later, the order had still not progressed despite multiple attempts to contact Myer via call centre, online chat, email, and even visiting a store in person.

I requested to cancel the order before delivery, but my requests were ignored or redirected with no resolution.

When the mattress was finally delivered on 02/02/2026, it was not the mattress I ordered. I received a Kota Cushion Firm Mattress instead of the Flex Firm model. This mattress:
- Has a different name and SKU from my original order
- Is less supportive, cheaper, and uncomfortable
- Has caused back pain due to inadequate support
- Required me to dispose of my old mattress in anticipation of receiving the correct one

This experience demonstrates extremely poor communication and unacceptable customer service. I would not recommend purchasing large items online from Myer, as there is a significant risk of receiving the wrong product and having to fight for a refund.

What a great experience at Myer Melbourne.

What a great experience at Myer Melbourne this afternoon! My wife needed new bras. Avryl at the Bra department spend a very patient, considerate, friendly hour finding and fitting a comfortable bra for her. Also provided clear instructions for the washing.
This is such a change from my previous visits to Myer when hardly any staff was available to help.
Maybe the new CEO in Ms Wirth, with her experience in Qantas costumer service,has made this difference.
Well done and congratulations!,

Not my preferred shop

Staff are rude and unbothered. This is why they can never compete with David Jones. They will always be second class until they train their staff on how to properly serve customers

Dearest gentle reader,

Dearest gentle reader,

One must confess, society has witnessed many scandals this season, but none quite so vexing as the trial I now endure at the gloved hands of a certain Retail Giant.

Of a three-piece order, only two have seen fit to arrive at my doorstep. The third, it seems, has embarked on a grand tour of a completely different state. Australia Post(ever the unlikely hero) presented me with the receipts, the maps, the cold, hard truth. An investigation was conducted. Findings delivered. Evidence forwarded.
And yet.
Twenty days have passed while Myer conducts what can only be described as a very private inquiry.

I, a woman of modest expectations, desire only a refund. Alas, upon summoning the courage to telephone today, I was instructed to wait until late Friday afternoon, as though this were a debutante presentation rather than missing merchandise.

The messenger was required to consult a higher power, though I was strictly forbidden from speaking to said authority myself. Instead, I was advised to wait a further 24 business hours. A most elegant delay tactic.

One is tempted to abandon civility altogether and declare: pick up in store, people, for clearly parcels are roaming freely across this great nation, while refunds remain locked away like a well-kept dowry.

Bought a dressing table online from Myer and it arrived with a scratched Mirror - even though other items were undamaged around it in the box. We gave up trying to get a solution from Myer - no response - so took it to the tip

Don’t order from Myer market place

Customer service ? 😂😂
I ordered an item from marketplace . It was actually an item for my special needs child . It was never delivered but went back to the shipper .i have not been reimbursed . I went to leave a review and the Myer website would not allow me to leave a review . Myer was not helpful at all . They blamed the shipper . They also said contact the supplier . I have no idea who the supplier is . I thought that I was safe ordering from Myer but I guess not . They don’t value their customers . Customer service is a joke .

I swear I will never go to Myers again

I swear I will never go to Myers again. I am elderly male and when my wife wants my opinion etc in womens clothes it is a nightmare. There are no chairs for men to sit on, so consequently I will not be going again. It should be labelled CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT!!!

I was sent an eGift card via email for…

I was sent an eGift card via email for a return and refund, my emails were hacked and so someone went along used the eGift card unauthorised and Myer dispatched the Cameras they purchased not to my address. Obviously Myer was aware that my address was incorrect and they allowed it to happen. I complained to Myer and they said in laymen's terms - bad luck. $399 down the gutter. Never ever will I set foot or buy anything from Myer again... Be careful, They don;t have your Back!!!

Customer Service non existent

Customer Service non existent. AI chatbots useless.
Ordered online a 3 pack of size S underwear. The box was taped up on receipt. When I opened it, it smelt like an uber driver had been wearing them and they were all size M. Called customer service (haha) and was told to take into a store. I took 2 hours out of my day and paid for parking to return to store. They said they processed the refund. Refund came through for less than the total. Called customer service (haha) and they said they can issue a gift card for the non-refunded amount. after 30 mins on the phone, they are going to transfer back to my card the balance of the total amount.
4 hours of my time, parking costs and painful phone calls later.
My solution - Shop at David Jones only from now on.

Beware the Myer refund/exchange process

requested a refund for a damaged Tefal wok and received an email that it was processed and would be in my account within 3-5 business days, and then got an email saying another Tefal wok was 'on its way’,tried the chat line but hopeless as just went in circles on how to return goods. I emailed the problem of the two conflicting messages twice but no reply to either. Tried to phone yesterday but after waiting nearly half an hour I was cut off. Was subsequently disconnected twice more. Told today as call connected that, as I had initially asked for exchange in first phone call, the exchange button had been activated. However, at the end of that phone call I had said to send me the return slip but I hadn’t yet decided if I wanted a refund or exchange. Decided I didn’t want a wok that dented so easily so wrote on return slip I wanted a refund. After long phone call today I was told wok to arrive today and no matter what I wrote or emailed I wanted, what button the agent pressed overode my requests. Supervisor to check my emails and return note and ring me back but so far no record there of any of those. To return the new wok, yet to arrive, means another request for a return slip and a trip to the post office. Hours of my time wasted. Beware the Myer refund process!

I had a very bad experience with Myer

I had a very bad experience with Myer, and I strongly advise everyone not to repeat it.

My order was extremely delayed, and the customer service was very poor. They completely forgot about my order and did not respond to my emails at all. When they finally replied, they only told me to wait, with no clear update or solution, and then stopped responding again.

This caused me a lot of inconvenience and prevented me from ordering the item elsewhere.

Very disappointing service and unacceptable communication. I would not recommend shopping online from Myer.

Poor customer service

The wife ordered some tops for Xmas, when they arrived one of them still had the security tag on it. After several emails was told to print out return form repackage it and send it back, all in my own time and cost to print out package return forms, travel down the street to send it etc. I was happy to do this as I told them I still wanted the top and once tag was taken off if they could send it back to me as it was my favourite one of the 4 I got. I even wrote it in the return slip so as they knew what I wanted. They have now just issued a refund for the top and if I still want it can purchase it again now at full price and pay postage again. Customer service is a joke there, won’t be buying from them again if this is their attitude towards their customers

Fundamentally Unqualified Staff at Pacific Fair – Misleading and Unresponsive

Myer National Customer Centre assigned Brooke Maddad from Pacifc Fair to my service request on Jan 1st. I provided all evidence immediately, yet was met with 3 weeks of total silence and multiple ignored emails.
When I eventually chased the store, I was told Brooke was 'away'. In any professional setting, setting an Auto-Reply is absolute common sense. To use 'being away' as a cover for weeks of negligence is pathetic. It is clear Brooke lacks basic workplace literacy and professional integrity.
Myer management should seriously reconsider if this individual is fit for a customer-facing role; she is fundamentally unqualified. I only received attention after escalating to Rej and advising of my intent to involve ACCC and Fair Trading. Truly a disgraceful standard of service.

Shoppers Beware

Shoppers beware. Myer online is an absolute nightmare. I submitted a delivery online under my current address but it defaulted to an old address in their system and showed up under my old address in the order submitted page after the order went through. When I called to change the address, literally two minutes later, I hadn’t even received the confirmation email yet, I was told it’s impossible to change the address. I then asked to cancel the order. Again I was told “that’s impossible”. I was then told to redirect the package through the courier, IF they allow it. This means my parcel will now go to the wrong address. It’s now up to me to contact the people at my old address to try to retrieve my $120 dinner service from them. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one will be in touch with me “in the next 24 hours”. Obviously this will be too late as the parcel will have been dispatched and well on its way to the wrong address. The call handler then hung up on me after repeating the same phrase over and over again like a stuck record “I’m sorry it’s impossible to change anything once you’ve submitted your order”. And once my order is delivered, if the current tenants deny receiving it, I won’t receive a refund. I work for a distributor, so I know how easy it is to change the address on a delivery before it’s dispatched. After it’s dispatched it’s not easy to do and couriers usually refuse to do it. Well, I can kiss goodbye to that $120.00 then.

I am NEVER shopping at Myer again.

What a joke

What a joke. Myer won’t publish my negative product review because it ‘doesn’t meet their requirements.’ It seems they only approve reviews if they’re positive. Anything honest or critical gets rejected.

No item delayed refund, poor customer service centre.

Ordered online with no disclosure that this was being drop shipped. Item went to one courier where it sat untouched for a week. Once I chased it up DHL (first courier) transferred it to StarTrack for delivery however they selected the "wrong service" and StarTrack promptly returned it to the manufacturer with no attempt to deliver it. Myer customer service is a complete joke. They have thus far denied my refund as they are waiting on the manufacturer to confirm they have it. This may take 5 business days. I explained my transaction was with Myer, that Myer had my money and that the tracking everywhere showed this item has never been with me and will not be delivered. Payment for the item is between Myer and the manufacturer. Refund of my money is between Myer and me. They have no intention of returning my money. Last time I spend a cent with Myer (I am a lifelong in person shopper).

Worst online service ever

I cannot believe how poor the online service is. I ordered items online and haven't received any update notification for a week, so I called customer service, but they weren't helpful because they have limited access to everything. What they said is what I saw on the website, which was what they could see, and nothing else they could do. So, okay, I will wait a little bit longer. waited 3 weeks, which I gave them enough time to do the delivery. But still, the order status was the same, and there have been no updates since I ordered. Called customer service again, and all I got was the same answer. So, customer service was absolutely useless. A month later, I received an email from Myer stating that the item had been lost. And they asked me to either request a resend of the items or a refund. I decided to trust again here, assuming this order was just a mistake. So I requested to send the items again. But haven't heard from them for 4 business days. So, I had to call them and get a refund. I cannot believe how bad Myer's online service is. The brand's name is well known, but the service they provide is worse than that of any other small businesses.
