The worst delivery service ever

The worst delivery service ever! Would never recommend anyone to use it. The parcel was supposed to be delivered and somehow they could not find the address (which was totally fine for almost 2 years for all the other services).

No possibility to contact a consultant, emails which are answered after 2 days with irrelevant information!

Apparently my parcel was left a the…

Apparently my parcel was left a the door and unfortunetly at the wrong direction, the location i gave and the one showing on the app after delivery are two different address..and i wrote email to then and it says don’t send multiple mails so they can work on what you’ve sent but until now one week down the line no response, and they are clever you can’t leave a review on their website you have to look for other ways..anyway please check my parcel and have it send back to me,and reply to the mail with a solution.Order number 007638038017818

I called them 6 times in one day

I called them 6 times in one day. They made me cry out of frustration. Customer service agents were rude and some of them didn't even let me talk they said send email and hang up. I wanted to explain to them that I sent 3 emails and for weeks Noone has ever replied to me. I asked them to look for my email and I could share my email address. They said datenshuts. Come on. I also work in customer service and I can always check for their emails over the phone. This is the worst customer service I ever encountered and Noone seems to help me with my issue. Issue is 2 x they returned my package that I sent and they never explained the reason. I want a refund at this point .

Horrible customer service

We tried to reach them multiple times. After finally reaching customer support and being promised that the package will be delivered on Friday, we just got a notification that it will be returned back to sender. They even blocked out number so now we aren't able to reach them anymore

Terrible Experience with Hermes – Absolutely Not Recommended

I had a very bad experience with Hermes. I booked their parcel collection service because I was moving out, and scheduled the pickup for two days before my move. I had all the boxes packed and ready, and I was at home the entire day, constantly looking out the window to make sure I wouldn’t miss the courier.

However, no one came. The app falsely claimed that someone had come and I wasn’t home, which is completely untrue. The pickup was rescheduled for the next day — the last day before my move — and again, I stayed home all day watching for them. Once again, no one came.

In the middle of the day, I had to book a taxi to take the boxes to the nearest Hermes parcel shop Getränke Hoffmann in geisweid (Siegen). Before unloading the boxes, I asked if they accept parcels over 20 kg, and they said yes. After I carried all the boxes inside, they suddenly said the boxes were too big and refused to accept them.

I was stranded there with heavy boxes, had no transport, and no one offered help. After standing there for over 30 minutes, I booked another taxi and went to a different parcel shop. That location said they could only take one parcel due to lack of space.

I had to carry all the remaining boxes back home, up to the third floor, and leave them at a friend’s place so I could book another pickup. This whole experience cost me an enormous amount of time, energy, and money — all because of their incompetence.

This was by far the worst delivery service I’ve ever used. I absolutely do not recommend Hermes to anyone.

constructive feedback

They deliver mostly exactly when they said they would, and if I specify where to leave the package they do it.
On the other hand,
today I was at home and left the front door open to indicate I am here. They left the package on the front steps without ringing the bell or notifying me at all.
This package was left in the hot sun, on hot cement steps.
I happened to check email and it said the package is there - so I could rescue it within 15 minutes.
The package was expensive and fragile vitamins. If I had not happened to rescue it, it would have been completely ruined.
PLEASE TELL YOUR DRIVERS TO THINK BEFORE THEY RUN AWAY. 20 cm away was the doorway, with shade. This was really stupid.
And they can ring the bell to say it is there, thank you.

Doesn't give information, no page in English

I bought an item from Refurbed and the real seller was VDC GmbH & Co. KG. They sent me confirmation, and information that the order is sent with this Hermes shipping company. I didn't get any notifications after that. I waited 3 weeks, and started to wonder where my order is.
This shipping company doesn't have page in English. If you go to the "follow my package" either from the confirmation or from the Refurbed site, you get page in german. I tried to contact them, but even their customer service WhatsApp number doesn't understand English. Only way would be to fill out some contact form. Not very efficient! If you are international shipping company, don't you have any page in English, or doesn't your customer service speak English?! Maybe they should only ship in Germany.

I didn't get any notifications from them about my package, not on my email, not nothing. Their page (I used Google translator) doesn't say who's the shipping company in my country, after it says the order has arrived my country.
Their shipping number/ID doesn't match any shipping company in my country, tried every app.

I'm now trying to find my package via Refurbed. But I really cannot recommend. This is a lot of extra work for me. If this shipping company would be interested in providing good customer service, they'd have a free number, or page or email with English service, to give customer service. I'm really disappointed on this Hermes shipping company, on Refurber, and on this VDC GmbH & Co. KG seller.

Edit; after a lot of emails with Refurbed (also customer service really bad), I got information, that the order has arrived days ago, and has now been returned. I got working parcel id only after the order had been returned.
I cannot recommend any of these:
Refurbed, VDC GmbH & Co. KG, Hermes parcel company, PostNord parcel company. They had all my information, and not one of them gave me working parcel id or contacted me about the parcel.
Now I'm just waiting to HOPEFULLY get the refund. I will not use these ever again.

Absolute dogshit company

Absolute dogshit company.
I cannot understand how this "company" is still in business. Absolutely no way to reach a human in case of a problem. packet is way too late. they have never heard of the concept of efficiency and punctuality, which is ironic given that the firm is german.

The worst ever!

One because is not possible to give less. You must to take vacation to pick up have your packet! Also if you change the delivery location, it is absolutely and completly ignored.

My signature been faked!!

So I should've get package from FedEx but they transfefed this package to Hermes as they are partners. I was at home sleeping, after I woke up i saw on tracking that my package is left on reception and signed by me. It's confusing because we don't have reception at all..it's just a small hall and a lift. I asked every neighbour that lives there and noone took a package or signed it. I never got any small paper in my postbox where it should say which neighbour took my package or anything else. After I couldn't find my package anywhere I contacted FedEx and they told me that package was delivered by hermes and they sent me a "proof" in image format where it says that it's signed by me and also where I can see that sign. It's completly faked..he tried to sign me with first letter of my name and then just did random curved line. I never used my first name to sign myself, I always used my surname as signing and proof is on my personal ID. So now I have to wait centuries to get answer from hermes..if they even answer.

They are not liable for nothing!

Has a small makeup package, wrote in to "leave it at my door and that i am home". The package never arrived, the tracking number was deleted right after i got the delivered mail. I contacted support and they just told me they delivered the package as agreed. I never got a note in my mail box or a knock on the door, or an address from a neighbor, nothing. They are not liable for damages and lost packages.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. We live on the 3rd floor. Delivery guy kept ringing the door bell 10 times until we went down to pick up the package because he didn't want to go up the stairs.

It does not deliver packages, the only thing it should do.


They just don't deliver for a paid package if it is too big. I get smaller packages from them, but when it's bigger, the driver just clicks "false address" and send it back to the sender - that is extremely annoying. I quadruple checked my address, my name is on the ring bell, the address is straightforward, so it is very easy to find, all competitor companies manage to find me, I've been even receiving smaller packages from Hermes to the same address. I talked to the support, they confirmed the address, and told me all is good, but they still sent it back to the sender. How could it be any worse? Everyone worked, I paid and it still remained at the sender. There is no scenario this could have gone any worse.
