The delivery driver was at my building…

The delivery driver was at my building at 9:54AM, pressed my bell door, told me the package had arrived but he didn’t come to my door to deliver i just cuz on my building has no elevator, he just walked away with my package and said I was not at home, he didn’t asked me to come downstairs even though I still need to pay for the package in cash when I meet him. What kind of DELIVERY DRIVER is that ?

Schlimmer als schlecht

Two of the 3 delivery attempts i was at home. But with no reason i became a message they could not deliver because no one at home. Made a unusual 4th time delivery for today.. at my neighbour, because the same adress is not possible, and what happens... no Hermes and again a message failed attempt of delivery because no one at home........
F* U Hermes.. if i ever could change the choise of Parcel delivery it is for 100% sure not Hermes.

The worst post company!

I ordered some items on May 28, and they were supposed to be delivered between June 5th and 6th. We stayed home all week, waiting for my package. However, I received an email stating that they attempted delivery three times but were unable to deliver my parcel. This isn't the first time this has happened! I will never order anything from any store that uses Hermes for delivery!
They hold onto your package for several days and then return it. I do not recommend them!
Currently, I don't know where my parcel is!
It's not just about delivery; since the 31st of May, I have returned two parcels, but I have not received any emails regarding them! I have no idea where they are!

Not receiving my packages

I used to trust hermes until l didn’t receive 2 different packages which l really was waiting for. don’t know if their drivers delivers the packages.lm so disappointed on them.You need to tell your drivers to be serious interms of delivering packages.Thank you.

Rechtliche Schritte müssen eingeleitet werden…

Da Hermes offensichtlich nicht in der Lage ist, das Problem zu lösen, werde ich nun rechtliche Schritte über das Amtsgericht einleiten.

Ich habe am 29. Januar 2024 zwei versicherte Pakete nach Frankreich mit Hermes verschickt. Beide Pakete hatten einen Warenwert von insgesamt 170,37 € und waren bis 500 € versichert.

Monatelang erhielt ich keine Antwort auf meine Anfragen. Erst nachdem ich eine Beschwerde eingereicht hatte, teilte man mir mit, dass beide Pakete offiziell verloren wurden und ich das Geld zurückfordern könne.

Ich habe daraufhin das entsprechende Formular zur Rückerstattung vollständig ausgefüllt und abgeschickt – doch seitdem nichts mehr gehört. Keine Rückmeldung, keine Erstattung.

Ich habe unzählige Male angerufen, E-Mails geschrieben, Updates angefragt – mir wurde ständig versprochen, man würde sich „in 24 Stunden“ melden oder „am nächsten Tag“. Diese Versprechen wurden nie eingehalten.

Hermes ist in meinem Fall völlig unzuverlässig, nicht vertrauenswürdig und verletzt sogar die eigenen AGB und Versicherungsbedingungen. Nichts wird eingehalten. Seit fast einem halben Jahr (!) ist der Fall ungelöst.

Ich sehe mich gezwungen, jetzt rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten.
Fazit: Die schlechteste Versandfirma, mit der ich je zu tun hatte.
Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Since Hermes is clearly unable to resolve the issue, I will now file a lawsuit through the local court.
On January 29th, 2024, I shipped two insured packages from Germany to France using Hermes. The contents were worth €170.37, and insurance covered up to €500.

For months, I received no response to my inquiries. Only after filing a formal complaint was I told that both packages were officially lost, and that I was eligible for a refund of €170.37.

I then filled out the refund form and sent it in — but have heard nothing since. No updates, no refund.

I’ve sent multiple emails, made several phone calls, and asked for updates many times. Each time, I was given false promises like “we’ll get back to you in 24 hours” or “check again tomorrow” — but they never followed through.

Hermes is completely unreliable and untrustworthy. They do not follow their own policies, and even contradict themselves. They offer no guarantees despite claiming so on paper. It’s deeply concerning that nearly half a year later, this is still unresolved.

I am now being forced to pursue legal action.

Bottom line: This is the worst delivery company I’ve ever dealt with.
Avoid at all costs.

Less than minus 10 stars

If it would be possible to rate bei minu-stars, i would rate minus 10! The performance and the service is just unbelievable. Different information regarding delivery date at the phone call and the confirmation mail. No chance to reach anybody than a "servicebot" to place my request regarding serious deliver date and time. I don't understand dealers which are using Hermes. Do they not think about their customers?

How bad can a delivery company be

They were supposed to delivery to a collection point specified by the online store (not me) and they couldn't perform this basic task. Absolutely garbage delivery service #YouHadOneJob

PS- I've had experience with Hermes even in the UK and its the same - freaking useless bunch

Delayed

I I've been waiting for 3 days for a package that needs to be delivered with Hermes.2 days they said they didn't find anyone at the customer's home but left no proof in the mailbox that they were there. The 3rd day I selected to leave it at a parcel station. I checked That day and it still wasn't there. And the 2nd day at 10am and it still hasn't arrived. I don't know how long I should wait for a package to be delivered.

The new employee cannot find my address and I’m not getting my shipment on time. Bull**it! It’s for you cheaper to send a bunch of parcels to delivery shop to be self picked up…

Awful company

Awful experience. There was a package send for me from an online website. It was supposed to be delivered by Hermes . The delivery guy arrived to me and rang the door downstairs so I can receive the package. It took me around 30 seconds to get down cause I live in 5th floor. He didn't wait for even these 30 seconds and I have found him already gone and my order was cancelled. It really an awful experience that the delivery guy didn't even wait for couple of seconds until I get down to receive my package.

Unresponsible delivery person and…

Unresponsible delivery person and company!

I have ordered 79.91 euro valued product and a delivery guy gave it to someone else in my building which then they together left it on stairs. I was not at home and not aware of it. When i came back next day and asked a person (i received an email by Hermes about her name) who that delivery man gave my order, she said all these. But I could not find my package anywhere in the building.
They have to check the ID and make sure that they give it to the right person! If I am not home, they had to leave it in the nearest Hermes pick-up point or return it back!
They know that there are a plenty of stealing cases in Germany and still continue doing it. I lost my order and 79.91 euro just due to the irresponsible Hermes staff!

The deliverer refuses to give a package…

The deliverer refuses to give a package I paid for. They took the package with them and didn’t provide us with any telephone number or way to contact them. Its impossible to get in contact with Hermes, horrible company! I paid €200 and now the package is GONE!

Totally Incompotent

Absolutely useless... I had a package scheduled to be delivered to a local Packet Shop here in Berlin. They even told me when to expect it, but simultaneously they stopped working with that Packet Shop. Next message: "we don't know this address, package is being returned to sender"... no email to me asking for my home address or another option... yet another bad Hermes experience on my part :-(

The worst delivery service ever

The worst delivery service ever! Would never recommend anyone to use it. The parcel was supposed to be delivered and somehow they could not find the address (which was totally fine for almost 2 years for all the other services).

No possibility to contact a consultant, emails which are answered after 2 days with irrelevant information!
