Complete waste of time. The C&G said they couldn’t find the account. The C&G were taken over years ago! I have the pass book. Tried to get back to my lost account but email address bounces back. Tried UK fiancé but same problem. It’s all a sham

Still waiting for my information
I am still waiting (it's July) for them to write and provide me with information of how I can access my dormant bank account, which they advised they had located for me back in January. It then took them a further two months to contact me to ask for confirmation that I was still at the address I had given them in January, (I responded the same day) but it then took them a further month to come back to that email and say they would send me my information, via letter. I have heard nothing from them since, even after chasing again last month. Very poor customer service. There seems little point that they go to the trouble of finding your account only to do nothing with the information!!!

Time wasters
Rubbish waste of time, I applied several months ago and received an email today saying ‘ Your account has been updated’ so when I logged in, it took me back to registration, in other words right back to the beginning!
Don’t bother is my advice.

Abysmal user experience. Don't bother.
Misleading emails that suggest they'll magically find your info without you entering any details. You'll only discover this when you wonder what happened to your request and log in to be told you need to enter everything. While entering your details, don't touch the back button or you'll find yourself on the welcome page again and all of the data you've entered so far will be gone. Complete waste of time.

I first contacted this company in May 2020 & still my enquiry hasn't been completed . They are very, very slow in responding to emails. I even sent them photos of my old book but it didn't hurry them up.
