The manual I ordered was a larger format than the original version produced by the manufacturer. The one I received was an exact copy, only it was in a “regular” 8 ½” x 11” letter format, and I was really happy to be able to read the print without effort. The print in the original smaller format is so small it’s practically illegible at times.

3. Chelsey Davis customer service playing games with me with timeframes about it being in transit they can’t blah blah.
I was out of town, and didn’t even know it was delivered (I did not sign for it, it was delivered to my company building) almost a year later I find it and am like what? I requested a cancellation a year ago, followed up with the company sent email proof everything. They never followed up, never sent return authorization form, nothing.
Had a convo on the phone, literally don’t care about customers
Also, they found my information by google searching a family member and asking to contact me? Who the hell does that? Some backyard BS excuse of an operation.

I purchase a XHUD1000 that was defective and returned the item. I paid for 2 day delivery and MyPilotStore accepted the return. I paid 2 day delivery upon purchase and it took a week to arrive. MyPilotStore deducted shipping from my refund and kept $400 from the gift Visa used during purchase
I don't recomend buying from MyPilotStore
First time buying from this store. I would HIGHLY recommend buying from another store. It took over a week and multiple emails to support me just to get my items shipped. I ordered some headphones, flight bags, and sectional charts. It took a week just for the headphones and flight bags to ship.
First, I was asked to call them because there was an error with the payment for some reason. After the call, they said they would ship it in 3 days. Four days later, it still wasn't shipped, so I emailed them to ask why. They replied that I needed to check my credit card account and verify the amount charged, but there was no charge to my credit card. They said this was for security. When I emailed them about this, they replied saying it was being prepared for shipment, ignoring the credit card verification they had asked me to do in the previous email.
I also placed another order for sectional charts on the same day. After a week, they finally shipped the headphones, but there was no update on the charts. When I asked about that order and provided the order number, they responded about the previous order instead (with the headphones). It seemed like they ignored what I was asking or didn't read the entire email. In the end, I canceled my chart order more than a week after placing the second order with no shipment.
Additionally, there was a $100 discount if I bought 2 headphones (which I did), but for some reason, it was applied to my other order for the charts, resulting in an order total of about negative $82. I asked about this and still have no response about the discount or why it applied to a completely different order.
This process took a lot of time and was very frustrating. I had to email them almost daily to get it resolved. While the support team responded to my emails almost daily, it didn't help much, and towards the end, they haven't been responding to my questions.
Please don't make the same mistake I did and buy somewhere else. Overall, I would recommend buying from another store like Sporty's. I should've checked more reviews before buying but now that I am looking at other peoples' reviews I see the same problems. I will update this post once I get my order of the headphones, hopefully, everything is new and works as it should. The process just to get the order shipped took way too long, and I know some people have time-sensitive orders.
Update - shortly after I posted this review I got an email and they said they would refund the $100. I have received everything and it works so far. The refund was also issued so I changed my review to two stars but I would still recommend another company to save the hassle.
Credit Card Service not secure
I ordered from mypilotstore.com and was promised a return back to me if I sent them a shipping label THAT I PAID FOR! After they received the label they sent me this email. Hello Bradley,

Everything I said in my review was true, this company is a fraud and works on false promises. Just read the email. I have been going back and forth with this petty company for 82.70 Today I have been getting order notifications from mypilotstore going to other addresses. My credit card is being used. Buyer beware, all the bad reviews you read are true. PLEASE send back my equipment.
Extremly Poor Customer Service
I have placed thousands of dollars worth of business with these folks over the past thirty years. Just placed an order with them for a new DC headset and a new flight bag within the past year. Along with the flight bag I ordered two new sectionals. The charts never showed up. When I complained, rather than correcting the error and shipping the charts to the address they shipped the flight bag to, they said that I should have updated my new address TWICE and since I didn't I'd have to eat the cost of the charts. I will NEVER do business with MyPilotStore.com again. Very poor customer service.

This is a horrible store
This is a horrible store. I ordered a suitcase and it was not the right size - I returned it and paid $62 to return a $200+ suitcase. They did not credit my full purchase. They said they only paid $6.95 to ship it to me when it actually would have cost them $40. So they subtracted the $40 from my purchase and did not pay me the rest - $39.50....I have never heard of this horrid policy - they said it is a written policy. Don't buy something if you "might" have to return it.
