Terracotta cookware goes mouldy

I bought some terracotta cookware and it looks lovely but is not glazed at the bottom. I used 2 dishes once each and washed them, but then mould grew from the unglazed bottom all up the sides. I've tried wiping them with vinegar and storing them in different locations but it still comes back. I asked for help from the company but they never replied. Any help appreciated.

Great Customer Service!

I had an outstanding recent experience with mytableware.com. Unfortunately one of my dishes was broken when I received new dish set. They packed the dishes very well so I truly think it may have been the fault of the deliverer. I called the toll free number for mytableware.com and was greeted by a service agent right away. Not only are they replacing the broken dish without me having t sent all 16 pieces back to them but they also allowed me to modify my order without any hassle. With any other company I would have had to return everything, wait for a credit to be issued, and then re-purchase everything, waiting for everything to be shipped back and forth. Instead they really took care of me and made everything hassle free. I am impressed with the service I received, I highly recommend this company!

Great prices and customer service

After searching all over the net I found the best prices on my dinnerware. After placing my order i called to add on another item and they were so helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Steph.

4 months and still waiting for my complete order

I ordered a set of dishes on 10/10/10 and now it's 2/14/11 and I have yet to receive everything I ordered. Their prices were great, but this is completely unacceptable.

Stay away from myTableware

I ordered a present for my daughter for Christmas on Dec17. They promised to deliver in 1-10 bus. days, which I thought would be fine, probably on time. After pacing an order i tried to call, but without success, busy line or answer machine. When Dec 27 item was steel not delivered I started to worry, I called them tens of times without success, i sent email- no answer. Only Jan6 finally I reached them and been told that they don;t have item. They could get it maybe end of Jan. I was so frustrated with them. I canceled the order, but don't know yet did they refunded my payment, i haven't heard from them, no cancellation email and nobody answers the phone,
My suggestion, stay away from myTableware.

Horrible service

I ordered Christmas presents from MyTableware on December 10. Everything that I ordered was listed as in stock. I got a conformation email saying that my items would ship between 1 and 10 days. I thought that 10 days would be extremely slow, and sent them an email, saying that a few days to ship would be fine, but 10 would not. I did not hear back. After a week of hearing nothing, I started trying to call them. I either got a busy signal, or it would just ring. Finally two days before Christmas, I got through to a message saying that they would not be answering their phone until after January second, and I could not leave a message. No explanations and no apology. I should say that they charged my credit card the day I made the purchase. Today is Christmas. No dishes, no communication at all. Horrible customer service. I will cancel my order if I can ever get through to them.

best prices and best customer service

I haven been ordering from mytableware.com for the last 7 years and always am pleased with the prices, packing and product. Don't pay department store prices for the same product. Thanks Paul

great experience

i just had a great experience ordering pieces of my wedding pattern from mytableware.com. their prices were definitely better than the department stores and i got my shipment within a week. everything was packed really well and all the pieces were in great condition--not a chip or a scratch on anything. i'm excited to finally be able to do thanksgiving at my house this year!

Poor Company- Sells What They Don't Have

I ordered two sets of dishes on November 18 and my credit card was charged the next day. I was told I would receive an email when the items shipped, so after two weeks I was puzzled that I hadn't received anything (either the order or an email) and I called them. It was difficult to get through, but when I did I was told the items weren't in stock and would be received in 10 days. I was surprised that they would charge a credit card without first checking to see if the items were in stock, or that they would even sell anything without it being in stock! They said they would call me if the items weren't in store in 10 days. However, after 10 days, they still were not in. Of course, they did not call me to tell me this; I had to contact them again. At this point I canceled the order, because I stopped trusting what they told me; everything they had said was a lie. This was December 15, so I wasted nearly a month waiting. I put in for a refund immediately, and I will give them credit for the fact that the refund only took 4 days. While the staff was very nice, I am still appalled that they would charge a credit card for an order that they could not fulfill and not be courteous or professional enough to contact their customers. I would NOT recommend ordering from this company.
