I've been a happy customer for many years now, renting a VPS and some domain names. Always professional and helpful, on the rare occasions I've had problems, they have always bent over backwards to help. Over the years, the services and features have improved, but the price has stayed the same.
Mythic Beasts are legends
I have used Mythic Beasts to host my website with a combination of information delivery, on demand database searches and eCommerce for about 12 years and always get great service. I can't recall my site being down due to a server error and the few support tickets are responded to in quick order. Any issue I've had has been resolved pretty smartish. Mythic Beasts techies are on the ball and have also given sound advice when migrating our back office hosted internally to ensure it talked to the external public facing frontend hosted by Mythic Beasts. They have also assisted us with security improvements. In summary, very knowledgeable people willing to help and overall jolly nice chaps.
Mythic Beasts are great
Mythic Beasts are great - I am probably among their less tech-savvy customers and they offer fuss-free services and sort me out promptly and efficiently when I need help. I have had domain and hosting services with them for five years or so. The one thing I'd like to see improved is more upfront explanation of how upcoming changes affect me - their service emails assume quite a lot of prior knowledge. But if I ask they will tell me.

I've been using Mythic Beasts for a year or so now and I've found their support to be fantastic. It's very quick, personal and tailored to the level I need. They also have very good online documentation. And while I don't need a hosted Raspberry Pi myself, I love what they are doing there. I would whole-heartedly recommend Mythic Beasts to everyone.

I've trusted Mythic Beasts to look after email, my professional website and additional project sites for something like 20 years - since the days when they were known as Black Cat Networks. They have given me a level of personal service that's scarcely available elsewhere. Queries have been followed up and problems solved in a matter of hours, and they've always been willing to help out when my technical know-how has not been up to scratch (eg, updating databases to maintain security). I recommend Mythic Beasts without reservation.

I am a customer of Mythic Beasts for close to two decades. They manage my registrations and some hosting and some domain management. Great knowledge , good support, perfect pricing , and wonderful supporters of STEM actvities. Cant think of many other services I have stuck with out of loyalty for so long.
Nothing mythical about Mythic Beasts support - just a great quality service
I have used Mythic Beasts for many years since they took over support for BlackCat Networks. I've used many hosting support companies on client's behalf but if asked for an opinion I would always suggest Mythic. That way I know I won't have any problems. Their advice is sound and their knowledge deep. Just first class support. Full stop!
The best
I've used many hosting companies, ISPs and registrars over the years. NONE have been as transparent and upfront and knowledgable as Mythic. They don't spam me with email offers either and that's a BIG plus.
Great hosting
I've used a number of different hosting service providers and Mythic Beasts is at the top of my list.
It's great to find a UK-based company which is run by competent techies and the right size - small enough to give the "personal touch" to customers but big enough to know they can cope with your requirements and be trusted to keep things running.
As a professional Linux sysadmin I know what technical features to look for and Mythic Beasts has ticked all the right boxes here too.
Deceitful and dishonest
Erratic performance, terrible support, generally dishonest and deceitful. I wouldn't trust Mythic Beasts to host a tea party, much less a site that has any importance for its owners. You'd be better off hosting it on your own phone, to be honest.
As per their response - they took my money on false pretenses, cost me literaly weeks of work to port across to a new server, and were infuriatingly dismissive when I pointed out both of these things. None of the things they have raised in the response were problems when it came to taking my money, and we had agreed upon a rollback to the legacy platform I needed the last time they tried to force an update. Their rationalisations are nonsense, avoid like the plague.
The thing is, what they did was a unilateral breach of contract, without consultation. Imagine you were storing something important and your hosting company decided to say 'Nah, that doesn't matter to us. Enjoying four weeks of unexpected migration work. Contract, what contract'?
That's what Mythic Beasts will do, and it's unprofessional to the Nth degree.
Update: And now they're accusing me, with no evidence because it isn't true, of pretending to be multiple customers and leaving multiple negative reviews. I received a very bullying email including comically ominious threats of legal action.
This is what Mythic Beasts will do if you leave honest reviews about their terrible service.

Extraordinary Service - Warrants a 6th star
(I am amazed I seem to be the first reviewer of this company on here, but then again, they don't fish for reviews like others do.)
I've been using Mythic Beasts for business, charity and personal websites and domains for a couple of years since my previous provider closed down and handed over to the bag of spanners that is Names.co.uk - I needed out of there quick and wanted a flexible, technically competent provider capable of providing domains and hosting at a sensible price and without a pile of patronising faff.
Yes, it helps if you are slightly technically minded as there's no dumbing down of the facilities, but while a bit tech'y myself I'm not IT-savvy but they guided me through step-by-step when that was necessary in the set-up.
Someone recommended this company to me and I'm so glad they did. Not only was the transfer-in seamless (with hand-holding above), the flexibility in their hosting arrangements is second to none, and their customer service (which I've needed a few times) is simply outstanding.
This post is prompted by the last of these. I screwed up on a domain renewal this morning by misreading my own domain names - I obviously needed more coffee. Anyway this is something not normally reversible but I asked anyway. Within hours they'd unpicked my mess, cancelled the renewal with Nominet and refunded the cost back to my card; which is, well, extraordinary.
