Glad I saw these being used on Into the Mist videos and decided to order. No more chasing the bouncing die around or under the furniture. As a 30 + year rpg enthusiast I expect to be rolling or spinni... See more

Can't wait!
Update for Feb release date, still for the people that bought in early (I know it's a buck but still) should have a little more info on the items. Price point & quality of metals /stones used would be awesome

Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. It took a few months of requesting any information on my order, before I received an answer. My D6, etc. spinner does not spin very well. It gets stuck after about two rotations.

Quality is not as good as expected.
Sadly the dice spinner doesn’t spinn that will and stops abruptly sometimes.
The shipping took quiet long, but I kind of expected that.

I conveniently ordered this in advance
I conveniently ordered this in advance, but there was nothing stating when the product would arrive and it took over a month and a half. This is not necessarily an issue, but it would’ve just been nice to have an estimate. The metal die was not as easy to fold as implied, it was incredibly sharp and cut my fingers, I had gotten it for my bf who could not assemble it and had to hand it to me. The nubs are short and sometimes slid out of place when outing the other sides in; some of the faces easily got bent out of shape. That being said, they also bent back into shape pretty easily and once it was finally assembled it rolled very well and had a nice sound. Just be careful not to squeeze too hard when holding and definitely do not stand on it.

Excellent customer service
Very quick turn around from time of purchase to delivery. However, one spinner received came broken. When brought to their attention, Mythroll Armory submitted for a replacement that instant. Their customer service was quick, polite and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend purchasing from them.

Top of the line Customer Service
While things took a little longer to get delivered (mainly due to covid), their customer service was AMAZING. Any questions or issues I had were answered and taken care of immediately. They were professional and very friendly. Great company.
Cute product, more for display than use imo
I received wallet size D20 as part of my Dic e Envy subscription box and I loved it, I immediately thought I had to get one for my brother for his Christmas stocking so I did. The website was nice and easy to navigate and the shipping to Alaska was not terrible. The edges are kind of sharp, so I wouldn’t get them for kids. And I am going to be warning my brother to be mindful, but he’s an adult and we’ve built the foldable metal statues before so I’m not worried.
I love you guys!

I’ve been around the block a time or…
I’ve been around the block a time or two and I still remember the dice my first D&D Basic boxed set that were supposed to be colored in with a crayon. I know I colored some in, but I don’t recall doing each one. I do, however, recall thinking about the weight the crayon wax would add to the die and wonder if it had an effect on the numbers generated. While physics say’s there is no such thing as true randomness, that every roll’s outcome could be calculated with the right group of equations, I like to think the outcome really is random. Now, many, many years later I have bags of dice. Yes, some of those bags are Seagram’s Crown Royal bags. I also have dice towers, some that I have purchased and two that I have printed. Most recently I purchased both currently available Mythroll Dice Spinners because it is a different way to randomly generate a number.
While waiting for my purchase to arrive I sent off an email asking a pair of questions: How does being off level affect the spinners and how easy are they to clean? I received a rapid response from David, just hours short of two days later. The spinners had been tried at various angles and it didn’t seem to have an effect. Also there was the admission that the indicator bearing is lighter weight and that could possibly skew the results, but it didn’t produce a noticeable bias. Cleanliness is easy, just a screw at the bottom and it comes apart easily, but a little care on reassembly is needed to get the tension just right. With these two answers in hand I eagerly awaited my purchase.
The spinners took two and a half weeks to arrive, not bad considering they were shipped from Yuen Long, NT (Hong Kong). The shipping tracker did an excellent job of letting me know where the spinners were at any given time. When they arrived the spinners were delivered to my mail box by the USPS and were waiting for me to get home.
The weight of the package was a little higher than I expected, however that is explained by the spinners themselves being larger than I had anticipated, it was a pleasant surprise. Unboxed them revealed that everything had arrived in good condition, no damage. I pulled each out of their box and gave them a spin on the dining room table. They rolled for a reasonably short time and it took me a moment to see which bearing was the indicator. The D4/8/6/12 has dual white balls for the indicator and was a bit harder to notice at first than the D10/20 which has a green ball for the indicator. Once I became used to what to look for it was easier to read them. Admittedly I wasn’t using them in a well-lit room to begin with and the glare off the bearings from the overhead light didn’t help. I played with them for a few minutes but then duties and responsibilities called and I put them away in their case.
At the end of a long day I have spun these several more times and tried to duplicate results. I suppose a person with a steadier hand than mine and a little bit of practice could cause the spinner to produce the same result repeatedly, however I was unable to do it. One thing I did notice was the D10/20 numbers were in a spread pattern with 1 next to 20 and 2 next to 19 on the opposite side, while the D4/8/6/12 had the numbers sequentially. I would have like to have seen both with a spread pattern and I noted they are looking at doing this in the future.
The case has Mythroll imprinted on it in capital letters, however it was impossible to read. Supposedly a hard shell, the case has flex to it and I think that will provide for longer case life. The rollers fit well inside and the mesh net on the in the top cover seems to act like a cushion for protection while transporting them. I believe the case is a far better option than thrusting the naked spinners into a dice bag.
Final word: I like the dice spinners, they are made well and will probably make it to many tables in the future. Request: give the base a matte finish to make it easier to read.
