I have booked 11 tickets to see…
I have booked 11 tickets to see Spiderman and two members of the family have Covid so therefore i need a refund. I used vouchers so i could not do it online the refund and had to call the customer service line which costs lots of money on a 0345 number. I waited for 30 minutes. As soon as i said i needed a refund for 11 people, the advisor put the phone down! Tried to call back and a huge queue to get through again! Awful customer service!
It's impossible to choose the seat you want.
It's impossible to choose the seat you want. You choose one that's available, click on it, save it, then move to the next screen to pay and you notice that it's changed your booking to the seat it's pre-selected. Absolutely hopeless. I've given up with it.

Why are you unable to book tickets on line, not the first time this has happened. You go to the cinema to book and you get charged more, ask if they honour the on line price and suprise suprise they do not.

The worst website I've ever used
Vue have managed to create the worst website I've ever used. Tried booking tickets for the last 2 hours. Now no decent seats left. Piracy is looking more tempting to me. Thanks Vue!
If I could give it 0 stars I would
James Bond ruined by the staff at Bury Lancs. They came in after 2 hours turned the lights on turned the film off apologised that the air con was broke and said if we leave now they will offer us a refund to the people at the back. I lost half a stone in sweat sat in the middle, no one left after waiting 2 years to get the cinema, and sat through 2 hours of the film. Also before shocking customer service from the staff, to say I am disappointed is an understatement.
Dishonest and dishonourable!
My bank give 6 cinema tickets a year as an incentive for banking with them. I have used 2 of them but they claim all 6 have been used. I have the 4 tickets still joined with the perforations and it is impossible to book online with the vouchers so there is no way they can have been used.
Vue are scam merchants who have systems in place that are not fit for purpose. They can wipe out unused cinema tickets and then put the blame onto the bank whose only responsibility was to issue the tickets in the first place.
Went to see 007 in Oxford
Went to see 007 in Oxford. From stepping in the building it felt dirty and generally disgusting. To add to this the food was horrible and from a full wine list they didn't have a single glass in stock. I honestly won't bother visiting Vue again. Very low standards. That said the staff were genuinely nice just a shame they are probably under staffed given the state of the place.
Staines Vue - public health risk
11th Sep spent in an unventilated/ not air conditioned screen 7 , 17:50 screening of Respect. No warning , we sat in +30 C unventilated room throughout 3 hours performance. Number of people complained, some were strategically fobbed off with free cinema tickets by a manager . Refused the tickets , asked numerous times if manager is aware she is breaking UK laws and putting public health at risk during pandemic … no answer to that , focused on customers who were accepting the free tickets .
Please investigate and note this day , conversely hope you have not caused outbreak of Covid and deaths .. some social responsibility would be nice .
I am regular customer , supporting this cinema - please take complains seriously and care for your clients health .

An awful experience we had at your Cinema in Longwell Green Bristol last week.
Paid for 3 X VIP tickets to sit in “nice” seats to watch the 5.30pm showing of “Jungle Cruise”…long story short the seats were in absolute disgusting state! There was done form of liquid on my daughters seat so she refused to sit properly on it - my partner dropped a piece of popcorn only to attempt to pick it up and find sticky fruit pastles and maltesters stuck in the sides of the seat and to top it off there was spilt coke or some form of drink all over the cup holders dropping down onto the floor!
What the hell are the people doing who you are paying to CLEAN the areas before the next showing ?? They are not doing their jobs and need a good kick up the backside in that cinema. I cannot believe I paid an extra £6 for nicer seats only to find the ordinary seats probably would have been cleaner!
Contacted Vue customer service direct and they were unwilling to help.

I was given a 2 Gift cards in Dec 2019…
I was given a 2 Gift cards in Dec 2019 and couldn't use them. Lockdown came and everything got shut down. Rang vue customer service thinking they would help me reinstate my cards but had no help at all and they just shut me off and didn't help me at all. Lost out on £100 quids worth. Shocking with the size of the company you'd think they'd help you out somewhere.

Terrible Cinema Experience and Abysmal Customer Service
Honestly, don't bother going to Vue in Cardiff (or any Vue by that matter!)
I had a terrible cinema experience having the emergency backlight and cinema side lights beaming through the room making it virtually impossible to watch the film (especially during dark scenes). The emergency lights in room 5 are like 2 spotlights. Honestly, don't bother going.
On top of that, the popcorn was old and cold, a 'large nachos' (1/4 of a bag) was overpriced, and they didn't have half the drinks we wanted. All that for £22 pounds! Ridiculous.
I then tried to get a member of staff to complain but there was no one to be found (probably left early to go home).
As I couldn't find anyone, I sent a complaint using their online complaint procedure as soon as I got out.
THIS IS WHERE BAD BECOMES ABYSMAL.
No answer or acknowledgement of my complaint. After 1 week, I make another complaint asking if there was any news. Nothing. Sent a third complaint. Nothing.
I then called customer service to ask for an update - to which they blatantly said - "there is nothing we can do".
I then ask them to escalate this to a manager - and the manager comes back to me blaming me for not telling a member of staff on the day. Seriously?!
All you had to do is say - "Sorry for any inconvenience you may have encountered on the day. This is certainly not up to our high standard. Please accept this £10 voucher as way of apology. We hope to see you again soon."
That's it!
Vue - you have now lost a loyal customer who comes to you 4-5 times per year. After this experience, I will certainly never be coming to you again.
Had you been understanding and given me a £10 voucher, I would have ignored the event, and come to you again.
Please teach your staff how to conduct proper customer service or have better customer service procedures!

Website glitches are horrible. If you think using website to book is hit and miss, try using a promotional code..... AI (hahahaa) Customer service non existent. Reckon they have 1 operator to deal with whole country. Poor.

I bought 2 x tickets for a movie but had last minute change of plans. Went to the website to cancel the tickets more than 4 hours before the movie (they say you can cancel it up to 3 hours before) but there was no option online at all on my account. Tried to call them but they never answer, hours awaiting. Sent them emails but no reply at all. Unbelievable considering they are such a well renown company. The monetary loss won't break the bank but breaks the TRUST.
