Very busy Saturday morning when I called in to have tyres checked . Staff I dealt with were both very helpful . Aimy was very friendly and chatty when I waited for tyres to be changed .
Jake very informative and also friendly and got my tyres changed really promptly despite how busy they were .

I visited the National Tyres and Autocare Centre in Hemsworth for a new headlight to be fitted to my Mercedes, following a really disappointing experience at another Halfords store in Pontefract, where damage was caused to my headlight during a bulb fitting, To be honest, my confidence in the brand had taken a knock.

From the moment I walked into the Hemsworth branch, the team completely restored that confidence.

I didn’t catch their names, but there was a blonde lady on reception and a guy with tattoos working alongside her. They were both incredibly friendly, warm and professional. They kept me fully updated throughout, explained what was happening at every stage and made sure I felt reassured and informed. They weren’t just polite – they were genuinely personable, chatting to customers, creating a relaxed atmosphere and making what could have been a stressful situation feel easy.

Even the technicians working on the vehicle were friendly, professional and approachable.

It’s rare that a team can turn around a negative experience so completely, but this branch absolutely did. They are a real credit to the company.

While I had lost confidence in Halfords as a whole, this team has changed that for me. I would happily drive the 25 minutes to Hemsworth again and, in fact, they would now be the only Halfords team I’d choose to use.

I took my car here for a mot as they had a Halfords bay in there , Hemsworth branch , the car passed mot so you think great , got home and that’s when I noticed all four sills had been bent up so clearly it wasn’t lifted correctly, I managed to sort them out myself as know my way around cars , then the best part was the report they sent through says my tyres were all 5mm tread , I checked these as knew they wasn’t that old and the tread was 8mm on all four tyres , so to the untrained person they would of replaced the tyres as this place said the tread was getting low , and as for the cills I sorted out that would of cost an arm and a leg for another person, wouldn’t ever use this branch again for nothing , go to a place where you know your pride and joy will be looked after Like it’s there own ,

2 tyre's fitted left it came back 1 hour later got key's, noticed rear os tyre losing pressure 10 psi overnight went back,told me old alloys needs refurbished after without looking, nothing on receipt only wiper light checked, dangerous I am retired tyre fitter,that wheel was bad,it was damaged by tyre machine easy if not taken care, but with attitude did not care,the tyre it replaced was cracking Avon's fitted 2020 was last one before I took it for mot 2 week's before they said normal my mot did not advisory, and wheel was fine,as I could not drive it there had to pay new wheel and Tyre on line,£100 now wheel and Tyre they fitted useless,worst experience just blame car and they seem to know but not advice on receipt?

I have done service there before. It was a nice experience. Also the payment assist is really helpful because it's reducing the financial burden of single payment. Its very easy to do.

I ordered 2 tyres to be fitted today and when I arrived on time for my appointment, the tyres had not arrived. I now need to wait for a phone call to say my tyres are ready for me to go again!!!

Booked my mot online arrived and was greeted by a great fella on reception left car and went to do abit of shopping .Came back and was rather busy but sat in reception until was car was finished then mechanic came and spoke with me .Fantastic service and so handy booking online .

Good work done by tyre fitter ,just seemed to be long time before wheels put back on .Overall good and friendly service
