I booked for an oil and filter change
I booked for an oil and filter change, then I received a call from the branch manager last Saturday to tell me they would not be able to complete the service I had booked due to staff shortages and I could rebook or get a refund.
I asked if another branch could do, I was told to contact the other branch and find out, certainly not very helpful.
Why would I want to call National's people when I booked and paid online?
Tried calling their contact number but of course, no one answered.

Not very happy. How can you justify that!
I went to depot to make sure the tyres I wanted were suitable for my vehicle before ordering on line. I showed the very helpful person the tyres that I was ordering online and they were listed at £87.50 each inc vat and fitting. When I went to order less than an hour later the price had increased to £101.20 each.
This is not a criticism of the staff who could not have been more helpful which is why I continued with purchase.
Further to the response from National Tyre it was the online price that increased I did not ask for a price from the depot. From me showing the depot the online tyre offer to me ordering on line less than an hour later the price increased by almost 20%
The only involvement from the depot was confirmation that the tyre was suitable for my vehicle prior to ordering online
I understand online prices are cheaper because not all tyres are stocked within depots.

Order in advance online however and you can make significant savings. Giving us time to order direct from the manufacturers means they can deliver your order straight to the branch in time for your fitting appointment. So, with no storage and logistics costs incurred by National, we can pass the savings straight to you.
