Booked my car in for a full service paid around 50 quid extra from the standard service, on the web site there’s is a list of things that should have been done like reset tyre pressures to factory recommended psi this wasn’t done as there was still all over ,check car for damage and report it back,this wasn’t done as I have scraps on number where some one clipped in a car park CC check windscreen for damage again wasn’t done I have a big chip on the windscreen,fill windscreen washers, next day pressed washers flagged up fill washers, a road test wasn’t done cos I reset mileage when I handed the car over and more. None of these where done, when I went to collect car about ten mins before it closed he said I was just ready to phone you I am not going to lie I took few extra jobs on i probably shouldn’t have. Looking back this is why I paid for something that wasn’t done cos they didn’t have the time if they can’t do the basic things how do I know anything got done I have can’t contacted customer care who said some one will call in next 48 hours 72 hours later no call some emailed again and was told I will get call by end of the day 48 hours later I get a call. I requested some sorted of refund to which I was told they will speak to regional manager this was 5 days again and now they won’t even reply to emails.i will never trust these wilh my car again the after care stinks I am now speaking to Klarna as I paid via Klarna to get some sort of refund
Just had 2 new tyres fitted at National Tyres, Marton Road, Middlesbrough and I can't fault them, absolutely 5*, excellent staff.
Went to national tyres marto rd today,got two new front tyres for my nissan qashqai, absolutely fantastic service from this company, would highly recommend.
Perfect service.

I've dropped the experience to 1 star now. As you can see below this edit, the additional information requested by National Tyres regarding order details was added. Unfortunately they have failed to contact us to resolve the issue.

Disappointing. I ordered a pair of tyres online for our Mini Cooper to be fitted at the Marton Road, Middlesbrough branch. When my wife returned with the car I discovered that one of the two tyres was a run flat version of the tyre and I had ordered standard. I made the garage aware and my wife had to make another appointment to get the incorrect tyre swapped out 2 days later (it is not recommended by Mini, the RAC/AA or National Tyres to run a mix of standard and run flat as it will affect the handling). The garage blamed incorrect labelling by Dunlop or their warehouse. We've contacted Halfords Customer Service by e mail and they've not bothered to respond or apologise. This morning while washing the car we found that at the second visit, the stainless steel Mini logo'd valve cap has been replaced with a. standard plastic one. Not at all happy.

However subsequently booked in on a separate day for repair, car there the whole day only to receive a call late in the day to say they couldn’t get the part. I suggested keeping the car overnight, but no NT did not want to do that. So car collected, not repaired nothing further from NT by way of solutions. Why take the booking without confirming that the part was available - wasted my time and money. Truly terrible customer service at the branch, and subsequently when trying to raise a complaint - heard nothing from National Tyres / Halfords in almost 2 weeks since. Case number 24226585

I would never in my life use this garage again, be careful if you are a woman because they will think you lack intelligence and try and fob you off.
My car was in for MOT I waited and waited and they finally called me to tell me it had failed but couldnt give me a price to fix it until late the next day.
They quoted me high given the part is about £25 i paid almost £300 for it to be fixed.
I picked my car up it wouldnt start, went into the office for James to say "oh someone probably left something on overnight"
Drove it and it was fine until the next day it wouldnt start.
My husband luckily had jump leads so I could use my car.
I rang the garage who agreed to look at it, I took the car down just before 11 and they rang me at 5.01pm to tell me the battery was no good as they tested it, could this not of been done first?
He said to come and collect and they would jump start it so I could get home but failed to tell me they were closing so I got to a closed garage and could not collect my car.
My husband went to the garage this morning, and they said it would be around £50, and they'd fit the battery free of charge. I thought, "Okay, that's fair." This was at 8 a.m.
I received a phone call at 3 p.m. saying they could take 40% off, and that was the best they could do. I asked what price that would be, and he said £120, meaning the battery would be £200??
They had told my husband which supplier they use, so I called them myself, and they quoted me £53 for the battery.
Absolutely disgusting.

Worst garage in Middlesbrough avoid at all costs.
Booked my car in for major service and MOT, asked them to change the break pads which would be at my cost as the warning lights and onboard computer states they need changing (never got done)
Tried to charge me for the service and MOT in which I pre paid online with Halfords.
They couldn't removed a bolt from rear wishbone to change the rear coil spring so I had to ring around end ended up going the BMW in which cost a small fortune for the sake of the £75 aluminium bolt!!
They had to just start my car as the y let the battery run flat and now I have to jump start it when I want to use.
Onboard computer still showing engine oil and break fluid needs changing (they either should of reset the service function or it ain't been done)
Front left wheel/breaks have an big knocking sound which machinc confirmed ( wasn't like that before it went in)
They left metal housing from what looks like it's from the break pads in the passenger footwell.
No copy of the failed MOT certificate,
Passed MOT doesn't have any advisories even tho the break pads need urgently doing, the sound of the sqeeking when driving it alone would indicate that.
Massive damage to my rear bumper!!
Sent a complaint in last week and nobody has been Intouch, paid roughly £1500 and the car is still not done correctly.

Had a emergency requirement for a MOT due next week.
Called and advised slot avaible in 2hrs. Arrived and a hour later all passed and completed.

Two times MOT slot delayed. After all been sent to Halfords branch. Need to rebook another time 4 days later, because they waisted my time( and fuel). Staff not honest and liers. Avoid.
