Absolutely non existent customer service.
Booking online was quick and easy.
I guess the work is ok, an mot, but as no-one discussed it with me I had no information or discussion about the condition of the car who knows! I choose to sit wand wait. I saw the car complete and waited 20 mins with no-one coming to me. I eventually went to ask and was told they'd forgotten I was there, and just handed me the key and paperwork. Terrible, uninterested staff member on the desk. Probably letting the rest of the team down.
Daughter took her car in for MOT
Daughter took her car in for MOT. Failed on Front Light. Advisories on tyres and an oil leak. Called to confirm work, daughter asked to just get it through the MOT. Quoted £460 which wasn’t broken down at all, just an amount. Sadly she is 19 and not very confident. After she paid and collected the car, an invoice was sent via email which inluded £304 for three tyres (which did not fail) and three extended warranties on the tyres. Can’t believe they are happy to take money off a young adult for work that was not requested. Terrible. I thought she would be ok at a big outfit like this but no. Absolutely fuming. Edit- she paid in advance for the MOT, £50. They also charged her on the day - £35.

I left my car in the garage at 8 a.m. I had a problem with the FCM light flashing on and off. I was assured the car would be fixed and that they would call me when it was done. When, after seven hours, I didn't receive any information, I started calling the garage for information. I called at several-minute intervals for nearly two hours, and my call went unanswered. After several attempts, I was automatically rejected. I went to the garage to see what was going on and was told I had to wait about 40 minutes. After waiting for over an hour, just before the garage closed, I was handed the car keys and told to go to another garage! RUDE AND BLESSED. After wasting my entire day, they simply told me to go somewhere else. Was it impossible to call me for nine hours, or simply answer my call and simply tell me that for some reason the car wouldn't be fixed? RUDE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will not be using again! Don't waste your time and nerves!!!

They took my car into the Mot area
They took my car into the Mot area, whilst I waited, however 45 minutes later the LAD at he reception desk told they could,nt do the Mot, because the back seats were down and there were items in the back of the car .
When I asked this Lad , why they did not tell me straight away, so I could have taken the items out, he said he had been in a meeting for the last hour so was too busy.

This place does not even deserve one star. Do not take your car here for an mot. They failed my toyota aygo on a hole in exhaust despite the fact I bought and paid for a new exhaust the year previous from this same place and they fitted it. They stated as it was them that supplied and fitted they would repair it... they did not, exhaust still has a hole in they just patched it up. I also had my breaks done at another garage the year previous, national tyres and auto care then stated I needed new discs etc which they were supposed to fit, again there is play in the break disc due to a snapped off screw which they did not bother fixing, it cost me £500 + for the privilege of these ripping off cowboys to do bodge jobs yet charge me to do shoddy work. Probably because I'm a woman they think they can get away with extortionate fees for shoddy work, the place needs closing down. I will be contacting trading standards as its a national company people should be able to trust. My car is now sold to a mechanic who is also a family member so I have this on good faith. Please find an alternative garage as I wouldn't like people ripped off like I was

It would be better if this was explained on the website at booking as what I planned would be a 30/40 minute wait from 9am, was actually over an hour. I don’t see the point in paying extra for a “premium slot”. I don’t blame the guys working hard in the garage and I can’t fault their service, but my complaint is in relation to the booking system as it is not being transparent to manage customers expectations. This meant I was late for another appointment. Thanks.

Had a slow puncture and needed changing front tyres asap. Booked via halfords.com online which showed as today fitting. When confirmation came through it was for tomorrow.
So I rang the branch and asked if there was anything they could do and within ten minutes two tyres had been sourced and they had been fitted within the hour and tracking checked and adjusted.

Above and beyond service

Website was complicated and whilst I purchased the correct tyre the final order had a different tyre - when this was queries I was told I must have entered the incorrect details. To correct your error would cost me half as much again. Too bad, order cancelled and I went elsewhere and got what I needed for a cheaper price. Your reputation has gone down.

Competitive prices and great service!
I found National Tyres had the most competitive price for the tyres I wanted. The online ordering process was straight forward and easy to follow. I liked being able to select the date and time for booking my car in to get the tyres fitted, there was a lot of availability.
On the day, everything went great, the technician was friendly and really helpful. I was only getting two new front tyres fitted and asked if they'd be ok with switching the wheels around (putting new tyres on the rear) and they did this for me without any bother.
Overall very pleased with the service and as long as the prices remain competitive, will defintely return again in the future!

Improved experience from my last purchase. Easy to order, easy to get an appropriate appointment (gave them an additional day to deliver tyres to store to ensure they arrived prior to appointment) and staff at Saltney were very good.
