Although the cancellation checker is a little tricky to navigate, my instructor Phil was great at working me through everything and getting me test ready. He saw where my habits were from biking, and guided me through to a car drivers mentality. Everything with National Intensive was easy to navigate and it was easy to find someone to talk to when necessary

All good reviews are fake!!! Worst experience ever! It took them over a year to sort me a test out, the people who work at national intensive are useless. Even after it’s all over now I still feel scammed. They’re booking agents and that’s it, I spent my time chasing them for answers for a year. SAQIB AHMED (Stevenage)was giving to me as my instructor, made me drive round in circles for 10 hours after I was ready to move on. He also wanted me to re book my test to a later date so he could scam me out of more hours. In the end I took it on myself, I paid for my own car and drove round with family on my own. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - they will reply to this review with lies, don’t believe the reviews!!! They’re also fake
EDIT due to national intensive reply - my theory was passed when I booked my course, they failed to supply me a test for months and it expired!! ANOTHER LIE - they could not also disclose/breakdown what I was paying for. Essentially £1000 for them to book a test and text some driving instructors which anyone can do! AGAIN avoid this company
EDIT - I’ve got all logs of the conversationsno communication throughout the process, I had to call the company numerous times before they told me what’s happening.
Only terrible companies have to defend themselves like this on bad reviews (any one who sees this, please trust my judgement)

Took them 2 months to find a test, which was another 6 months later. Since my lessons with them did not happen I have personally booked my own test, first try and for 5 months time.
3 instructors allocated and not one would book in lessons. Asked multiple times for a refund and was told no, they’re not responsible for their instructors.
You are essentially paying them hundreds of pounds to just send a few text messages to instructors you could find yourself on Facebook.
Luckily used a credit card so currently going through the disputes process.

What can I say about John Gray? There is so much more to him than being a brilliant driving instructor.
Over the course of our two programs together, he gave me the type of confidence that a multitude of previous driving instructors couldn't in my near 20 years of trying to pass my test.
Like any teacher, he was the perfect blend of being calm and encouraging with just the right amount of sternness to motivate you to do well.
I really looked forward to my lessons with John each week, not just because they put me on the path to getting on the road - but because we'd talk about a multitude of things going on in the world.
I'd even take some life/parenting advice from him - that's how much of a fondness and bond I built with him.
Passing my test was tinged with some sadness as it meant our weekly chats would be no more. I may even end up doing a pass plus with him - haha.
But in all seriousness, John Gray was a brilliant, and most importantly, caring driving instructor, of which many are not. And I couldn't recommend him more if I tried.
I urge anyone looking to pass their test to take their lessons with John.

National Intensive failed to find a test. I paid over £600 and have nothing to show for it. No test, no instructor NOTHING!!!
After multiple emails no refund will be issued.
