There has been a train derailment in Sussex so I phoned about alternative routes I could take to London. The operative in India told me I had to use my single advance ticket on original route as she... See more

Going nowhere!
Used to use this a lot! Theve turned it into a nightmare! That doesn't work Obviously to match there train services! Well done. mick.
Not fit for purpose
Absolutely useless app. I have attempted to use this multiple times but it won't retain stations , dates of travel, you have to repeatedly re-enter info & after 25 mins of searching for train information I have given up!! How are tourists supposed to use this??!! It is shockingly bad.

Shocked By Train Experience
I do not travel on trains very often and when I have done I have found that the trains have usually been on time, modern and well presented. I have always found a seat just with one exception and that was due to a huge fan event and masses of people boarding the train late at night. However, the last time I found that the ticket I bought did not state the particular station which I requested. Worried I might get fined I sought reassurance from a train worker stood at the side of the train but he very assertively and loudly repeatedly refused to answer my question stating that the train was leaving imminently so I had to get onboard or forget it. Seeing as I had bought the ticket and obviously wanted to go I reluctantly backed down but was astonished how a paying customer could be treated in such a way. The train consequently did not depart for at least another five minutes. I was relieved to find the ticket was okay when checked in another rather offhand manner. That unnecessary negative experience will seriously influence whether I choose to travel by train in future and I have not done so since.
Sack the lot!!
Sack the lot!!! Overpaid drivers. Chaotic embarrassment to our country indicative of 1950’s Union control. Not able to get from one end to other in our country.
Bishops Stortford - excellent service, again...
I'm not a regular train traveller but I am pleased to acknowledge excellent customer service I received today at Bishops Stortford, Herts railway station. I was served by Paul, I was looking to buy an advance ticket and he asked if I had a railcard, which I didn't, and suggested a railcard, with immediate savings. He asked my age and suggested a Senior Railcard (from age 60, £30 per year with a third off standard and first-class anytime, off-peak and advance tickets) would provide immediate savings on my journey and a better overall 'investment' if I was expecting to repeat the journey or use the railways again, which I am. I now have a railcard and can expect considerable savings on future journeys. The team at Bishops Stortford are all friendly, professional and provide consistently excellent service, thank you all, especially Paul.

Our bags were stolen yesterday on London Bridge to Brighton train. The ticket officer Steven at Preston Park stop was incredibly helpful during this trying time and provided important advice. we appreciate his help so much and want to thank him.
Amazing announcements
On platform 4 at Tottenham Hale at 19:25 roughly the lady doing the announcements was full of life and really making her job sound a lot of fun. Really brightened my day on the way home from work. Please pass this to her and let her know she's doing an amazing job!
The most useless train service anywhere
The most useless train service that I have ever used anywhere in Europe. Prices extortionate constant delays and cancellations. A journey that should have taken an hour, took 2.5 hours!! And this is on a work day. Absolutely atrocious.
Hopeless
Hopeless. Takes ages to open on an iPhone. No way of getting back to a plan your journey screen and defaults to live trains. Has red warnings for train problems that are no where near your journey. The old one was rubbish too but at least it was useable.

Booked from London to St Annes they cancelled the train from Preston to St Annes and I spent an hour on the phone asking what replacement they were offering. Nobody could tell me anything. Now we have broken down in Crewe and nobody knows whats going on. Absoluely disgusting service. Should refund everyone.
Why change
Why change, can't add alerts easily, Used to be easier to view trains and check on arrivals when picking someone up
Useless App
The recently upgraded app is useless and not fit for purpose. Whoever designed it should be sacked. Bring back the old one which was extremely user friendly and actually worked.

5x more expensive than a plane ticket out of the country with return.
Every single platform is disgustingly dirty.
Just get a coach or plane.

Worse than before as it does not retain your usual journey means a lot of clicking in a rush and I’ve made mistakes with tickets twice now! It should remember your last journey, automatically go to todays date and time- super painful now! Even the date of experience box below doesn’t autofill!
Absolutely shambolic service these…
Absolutely shambolic service these days. Greedy company constantly putting up the ticket prices for a completely out of touch service. Someone needs to step in and show them how it’s done. Laughing stock.

Went to Cardiff from bridgend with my 6 year paid 10, 30 had to stand all the way there and back yiu know it's Xmas and the weekend why not put on more carriages???? Absolutely ridiculous I'll take my car next time more convenient we were all crammed in like sardines
Awful "upgrade"
Awful "upgrade", often told no trains on your route in next 2 hours (rubbish) and I seem to always have to enter a via station - even for a journey on a single line between two stations that only have one station in between. When is someone going to get this back to somewhere near what it used to be which, while not perfect, was a lot better than this version?
Rubbish app and rubbish service
Rubbish app and rubbish service...app crashes constantly and the trains are always delayed or cancelled with no warning and the prices keep rising. There has not been one train on time that we've needed since September and we get 6 a week. Such an unreliable service. Left my 16 year old stranded the other night in the rain...told to get off the train as all trains were now cancelled half way through his journey home from college and no bus replacement for another couple of hours after. Had to leave work to go get him.
Edit....15 Jan...last night son stuck yet again at a different station as they decided to just cancel the train after it being 30 mins to start with. No wonder people won't rely on public transport

It used to be a really good app but it has been updated and is now buggy with false data and not user friendly making you repeat selections and timing out after a few seconds. It is now useless. Go back to the old one, it worked!
