NBA league pass is the worst thing l ever purchased

NBA league pass is the worst thing I ever purchased. It says you can Watch all the games but doesn't tell you except for abc and espn games until you purchase the plan. Oh, you can watch them 3 hrs after the end of the game and the announcers speak Spanish or something 😂😂😂

People who designed this app are plain…

People who designed this app are plain stupid. The app not only crushes constantly and there are all kinds of technical issues with it. The most annoying thing is that even if you click to hide the scores the first thing you see when you open it is the picture of the winning team. I suppose they do it just to spoil your fun to watch the game.

The StarGo of sports streaming apps

This app is regularly crashing and forces you to restart streams.

Of course this becomes a multi step process as the app usually plays the Spanish language broadcast as the default stream (with no way to set a preference) so you have to start the stream, then start it again in the correct language if you don’t speak Spanish. THEN you have to fast forward back to your place in the game because this app lacks the ability to keep your place unlike every other streaming app on the planet. So we’re not talking a one step irritation, it’s more like a 2 minute multi step process every time the app screws up, which is usually multiple times a game.

In previous years the NBA seems to switch developers and for some reason they often change things during the playoffs, often causing spoilers to show even if you have no scores mode on. Have had countless games spoiled by using this app. To the current developer’s credit they haven’t broken the app and added spoilers during this year’s playoffs YET, so I’m going to up my rating to 2/5 instead of 1/5 due to this promising achievement.

Non consistent quality streaming even on perfect internet connections. Never had problems with other streaming apps (netflix, etc) but here seems like the back end is simply not up to the job.

Also the app has quirks. Sometimes turns off sound, sometimes insists on bringing captions. You learn how to work around these things, but annoying.

I purposely took the scores off of the games so I could watch the recap that I waited for because it was on ABC for three and a half hours after the game aired first thing I see is a highlight comes up and tells me who won the game right

The worst streaming app

The worst streaming app! The worst customer service! I’d pay any other service double if I could watch my home team’s games. This app has so many issues, but they dint send to have a problem collecting my money. I have yet to watch an entire game. I have to uninstall and reinstall several times when I want to watch a game. If it does work, I end up starting at Jalen time! Their customer service is a JOKE!!!

terrible streaming app..

Top notch product... NBA basketball is, but the app to watch it on is terrible. Unlike other modern streaming services it does not automatically recall what you were last watching or where you were in the broadcast. That would not be so bad, but the app crashes four or five times during every game. The user must then again go through the steps of re-choosing the game, choosing the feed they want (home team, visiting team, or various summary versions) and fast forward to get back to where they were in the game by trial and error.
The crashes generally occur when attempting to skip forward or back in the game.

On the plus side for me, at least, the games are stripped of commercials and half-time chatter, and there are other 'highlight' or 'all possessions' versions that are useful choices.

Perhaps these would warrant an extra star, but I am not feeling charitable. There is no excuse for the NBA, which already puts profit first in its local and nationally televised game blackout policies, to not give a sh-t about putting out a quality app to deliver its product to paying customers.
The actual fans, in other words, come last.

We got the two most storied franchises in NBA history following the crowd.. The Boston Celtics only playing one half of basketball and that’s being generous.. And we got the Los Angeles Lakers hanging up Participation Banners.. I’m at the point where I believe the only way to save this product is to do away with guaranteed contracts.. Does not seem like the teams have enough integrity to give a great product.

NBA app for Amazon Firestick has number of bugs making it almost impossible to watch live games. Additionally, games broadcasted on local TV, ESPN, etc. are blacked out and cannot be watched using NBA League Pass. Same applies to Inseason tournament finals and playoffs. Overall, it is not worth the money.

Disappointing League Pass

It's been unfortunate but year after year the product has been decreasing in quality. It used to be only technical things, making the experience less smooth by the season but this year is a blatant case of skimpflation. Indeed the League Pass is now spamming us with mandatory commercials despite paying. When reaching out to customer support, I have been passed on like a hot potato, having to re-explain every time and formulate my questions, only to barely get an answer that was: "You can pay the new premium feature to get rid of ads". In conclusion, we pay the same, and get spammed with ads we cannot skip that they didn't used to have (they put a timer, and sometimes this timer even appears on other screens and it's impossible to skip for up to 5mn), and we get a lower quality product as a result with a frustrating experience. Accepting this is the open door to having more commercials in the next seasons, and having to pay premiums to have the product we used to enjoy for so many years. Disappointing, and this is possibly the last year I will pay for the League Pass. With all the free streaming options available out there, I would rather have to deal with commercials that I don't pay to watch.

Will Continue to Charge Your Credit Card after Cancellation

I canceled in January and yet they're still charging my credit card. I emailed in April when I realized they were still charging me. They took the charges off but added them back on for June & July w/o my permission. Have email of them telling me that it was canceled back in April but they still charged my card

Dodgy app and poor quality stream is a rip off

NBA is the greatest show on earth but their app is just so darn bad! It's buggy, the video freezes or is choppy, it crashes almost constantly, which made the experience (literally) impossible to watch more often than not.

On top of that you pay a premium price, and when I tried to get a refund because the app and streaming quality was so bad it was unwatchable, their customer service is almost worse than their app! Feeling very ripped off and unsure I'll keep following the NBA as a result.
