Disappointed

Having shopped with NET-A-PORTER regularly, I feel extremely let down by this experience. I ordered a pair of heels specifically for an important event and after waiting some time for the delivery, I was disappointed to receive a completely different shoe to the one I had purchased.

Since raising this with the team, I still haven’t received any meaningful response or resolution, which has made the situation even more frustrating. I’ve always associated NET-A-PORTER with a high standard of service, so this experience has been really disappointing.

Avoid this company completely and use…

Avoid this company completely and use another retailer instead. Their so-called “Premier Delivery” service is completely unreliable and absolutely not fit for purpose. I paid extra for same-day delivery for a dress to wear to my daughter’s graduation, and the order never arrived. The only explanation I received was a pathetic excuse claiming there was an “issue” with my order.

Because of their incompetence and failure to provide the service they advertise, I have now been left without a dress for one of the most important and emotional days of my life as a mother. The stress, panic, anger, and upset this has caused at the very last minute is unforgivable.

Do not advertise premium same-day delivery if you are incapable of fulfilling it. Taking customers’ money and then abandoning them with no proper communication or resolution is disgraceful customer service. One of the most appalling online shopping experiences I have ever had.

WARNING: REFUND FRAUD!

What THE OUTNET part of NET-A-PORTER is doing is nothing short of corporate theft. They are holding my 276 EUR illegally and completely refusing to return it after a failed refund on a closed card.
The funds were legally rejected by my bank and returned to Adyen (their payment network) on April 15th, 2026. I hold the official global Visa Resolve Online (ROL) logs and the unique ARN number proving the money has been back in their system for over a month. Yet, they choose to deny reality and keep my funds.
The customer support experience is shocking and manipulative:
1 The phone scam: On multiple occasions, when I called to demand my money, agents literally pretended they could not hear me and hung up the phone on purpose to avoid resolving the issue.
2 Refusal to escalate: They completely refuse to pass my case to a manager or their finance clearing team, hiding behind scripted emails.
ATTENTION TO ALL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS: If THE OUTNET has stolen your money or blocked your refunds using the same tactics, please reply to this review or contact me.

Promise Avios but you never get them

I have shopped with net a porter for many years and I am an EIP. I will not be shopping with them anymore. They promise material Avios points with purchases, award speedy points and then weeks later the points get rejected for spurious reasons which don’t apply. I have complained to both Avios and NAP but have been ignored. This is plainly dishonest and very bad practice. I can’t shop anymore with a dishonest retailer.
