We purchased online a Nova Ciara Right Hand Casual Dining Corner Sofa Set with Fire Pit Table from Newbank Garden Centre. Our experience with Newbank Garden Centre was excellent both in their customer support, cheapest price on the Internet and fast delivery. We are so pleased that we intend placing another order with them for a Bistro set.

If you want breakfast I recommend getting there for when it opens (which is 9.30 not 10.30 as the website advertises) as we waited just under an hour for food when we were advised it would be 30 mins. Some tables got free complimentary drinks, we didn’t get offered anything and the manager was rude when we chased how long our food would be.

Cafe needs to be more organised. Went on Saturday - 3 of us and took nearly an hour to get our food. When it did arrive - items missing (no salad/coleslaw, no stuffing on turkey sandwich) but we were that hungry by then just wanted to eat! Annoying as they brought our hot drinks as soon as we ordered so they were well finished by the time the food came.

Not dog friendly at Radcliffe. Used to enjoy going to this garden center, now we won’t bother going again. Best going elsewhere that is dog friendly

No issues at all with the garden centre itself but the Bistro is another matter entirely. I've been going here for years but only because my mum likes it because she loves gardening and part of the visit always includes a coffee and a cake or maybe hot food. The service in the bistro has always staggered me the staff/manager has always be rude and abrupt but today was on another level. We ordered food and as it was a gorgeous day say outside to enjoy the sunshine. The food arrived quickly which was great and it was edible but within minutes of us finishing we were asked if the sugar pot could be taken. I did think it was odd and made a joke of it being the only one they had, this went over the waitresses head and she explained that it was so they could be refilled for tomorrow. Fair enough I thought they're obviously getting organised for the day ahead. As this visit was part of my mother's 85th birthday (it was her birthday that day) we all decided to have cakes as an extra treat. My niece and I went inside to take a look in the fridges to see what choice there was only to be met with hostility and told "we are closed" I explained we were already customers who had eaten and pointed to our table outside. It made no difference to her they were closed end of. I was obviously not impressed so I told her so. I mentioned that the service has always been appalling here and I would not be returning she went on to tell me that if I had visited a lot then surely I knew they closed at 4pm!!!! What?? I was honestly stunned we had just spent £45 on a few sandwiches and drinks and I was being spoken to like this. They did suggest we buy cake to be boxed to take home which I declined as this was not suitable. I honestly cannot believe the attitude and how I was spoken to, even when I pointed out we were there as it was my mothers birthday they were not iinterested.i did say perhaps it would be curtious to mention to people who were eating that they'd be closing soon in case more drinks or desserts were required.
Very poor indeed and I've said it for many years but I will keep to my word now, I will not be returning ever. You get a better standard of service at a burger van!!

I asked for some help from a member of staff and they where very helpful. Will definitely be visiting again

Great selection of garden furniture but be aware they may have stock in their warehouses which are not on display.
Be aware that delivery locally on stock bought in store may cost £25 whereas stock bought online costs £20! Weird!
Finally Newbank are certainly not always best value!
LG Milano 4 seat dining set delivered locally £799.99 plus £20 delivery.

Buyer beware

Staff member on till incredibly rude at asking if there was a queue. Had there been a queue I would have joined it. Clearly she was having a bad day and quite frankly should not be the face of the garden centre especially with a full trolley as was quite undecided as to take the shopping or leave it with her when leaving. I have been coming to Newbank garden centre (Lowton) for years even when it was Trebaron and never have I been spoken to in such a way.
Please sort out your staff. It isn’t nice being spoken in such an impertinent manner especially when faced with arms full of tattoos

Visited the Bury Branch today wanted help to look at a large plant that was high up on pallets the member of staff that was meant to help us was rude very unhelpful and only moved some small plants out of the way that were on a rack with wheels then literally walked off was no help whatsoever maybe should train the staff in customer service wont be visiting again

We ordered and paid for an expensive furniture set in April 2021. We were not told it was out of stock until after the order was placed, which was not great. We were then told it would arrive in June, then August and then finally early part of September. If we had known it would have taken this long and effectively missing the summer, we would have cancelled the order.

We had to do too much chasing on this via phone calls and emails.

Even the eventual delivery was mucked up. We were told it would arrive on Monday 13th Sept, so we both rearranged our work so that one person would be here all day, only to find out that it was an 'economy delivery' (according to the transport company) and the earliest they could deliver was Tuesday 14th, again necessitating work rearrangement so the one person would be in all day.
They failed to be sympathetic to the fact they had our money (over £1,000) for the best part of 6 months, without any attempted gesture to compensate us and have completely ignored my recent emails.

We saw the Cordyline Pink Passion on their website so telephoned the Halifax branch and was told it was in stock
Drove almost straight away for 40 minutes to get there and told not in stock here but try the Bury branch an hour away!

Every year we purchase our Christmas tree from the Dobcross branch. This year was no different only due to logistical issues we had to use their delivery service. I spoke to Jess on Sunday to provisionally reserve a slot for a Wednesday delivery. Today I selected the tree and went inside to pay and arrange delivery. Although Jess wasn’t in she had communicated to her colleague Amy that I would be in and require a same day delivery. The whole process was stress free and I can’t praise the entire team enough for their help in fulfilling my promise to my daughter of having the tree by Wednesday! Thanks Jess you went the extra mile for me and I’ll be back year after year for the family tree. Staff like Jess are rare in this day and age and are a valuable asset to any company.

Fabulous range of garden furniture, plants and home accessories. Really reasonable prices too for the quality. Had some garden furniture delivered and am extremely happy with my purchase.
