Don't be fooled by the positive reviews of sales, installation and customer service... that's what happened to us. The customer service to install of the lawn was great, really quick and efficient and the guys who laid it really seemed to know what they were doing. We had calls and emails along the way to advise and remind of dates and times. Lawn laid and paid for ... then the problems began !

We went for perfect pet lawn, described as odour-resistant. We have one dog. About 1 month after install the grass started to smell. Now the weather has got warmer, there's an overwhelming stench. We cannot have doors and windows open, we can't sit outside, we can't entertain family and friends outside. This grass has ruined our garden and cost us a lot of money.
I have been told to clean the grass by blackstroud/new lawn... I have spent a small fortune on disinfectant and grass cleaner and I dread to think what the water bill will be after daily cleaning. This still isn't resolving the issue. I contacted again (after emails ignored) and was told someone would be out, then the day of the visit they can't due to staff sickness... no mention of rescheduling but instead told me my dog may have strong smelling urine and they can't ensure complete elimination of odours so they recommend cleaning with odour eliminating solution. As I've been doing daily, to no avail.

As I said, we were very happy with the service at the beginning but the true value of a company is in their aftersales and for that, I would recommend you stay away and find a company that values a customer, not just their money.

UPDATE: Eddy called me 'on his way' to review the lawn on 22nd June. He was meant to be bringing me some cleaning products. The call lasted for 30 mins and Eddy argued with me, raised his voice and did not show up. He wanted me to remove this review because it was affecting business - I said it would be removed and updated when I was satisfied but this was not good enough. We agreed that I would remove this review and they would attend to clean the grass... 20th July and still no one has attended. Therefore this review stands - the aftercare of the company is appalling and their staff need customer service training, no staff should argue and raise voices with the customer. I paid nearly £3k for this pet, odor resistant grass and the company are not willing to try and resolve the issues we are having, or try to give customer satisfaction. This company are more interested in taking your money than ensuring they provide a quality service.

Newlawn (Blackstroud Installation Services) were brilliant at project managing. Their 3 persons team were excellent at installing the artificial grass and once finished, the team leader spent time in explaining what to do over the next 24 to 48 hours and then how to maintain the lawn. The team left the site clear and clean. Thanks to the team for the professional work.

the work finished this week and our garden looks fantastic. we had a very good experience throughout the process. Ben and Eddy both knowledgeable and experienced. We had 3 people for installation. they did really a good job. installation done according to the plan. the guys were all friendly and experienced.

Absolutely brilliant. Lawn looks fantastic a month on. Lots of people with artificial grass have commented that it looks much nicer than theirs, even when it wad new. A great job.

The survey was helpful and constructive. Everything was made clear. The crew comprised three gentlemen (in the real sense of the word) who were friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working. They cleaned up, not only the garden, passageway, driveway but even the road. We were 100% satisfied. Many thanks.

An excellent product laid but a fantastic team, from start to finish everyone involved was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. First class all round, worth every penny. Thank you to Eddie in the office, Ben who did the site survey and Adam and the team for laying it and a thorough clean up afterwards. Brilliant

Had a lovely experience when New Lawn when they came to fit in my artificial grass. Started off with the rep who came to measure my garden and walked us through the steps that it was going to take to complete the new look. He went into detail and assured us why his company was better than others which my husband and I loved. He helped us figure out details to make the process cost effective!!!!!

Adam’s team came on the day and worked really hard and quick to get the process done. Still surprised it took a few hours of the day to complete the look. Once they had finished, Adam walked us through the maintenance of the grass and gave us a few ideas for our sleeper box areas.

Overall the experience has been exceptional and would highly recommend their service to anyone who asks!
