full service was caried out yesterday and the engineer was efficient, friendly and very informative. He showed me pictures of everything he had carried out.

Installed my ATAG boiler in 2018. Have used them exclusively since then for all my central heating needs, annual services or replacing radiator. No matter which engineer arrives, they are always friendly, respect your property and tidy up after completing the job. Since my son moved into his own home, he also uses them for servicing his boiler and his experience has been the same as mine. The work is always explained to me so that I know and understand what has been done. The latest visit was no exception, I had a Hive thermostat fitted and removal of previous ATAG thermostat as well as a valve replaced under warranty in the boiler. The Hive was all set up and engineer patiently walked through the setting up of the app on my phone until I was happy that I knew what I was doing. All areas around the boiler and around the thermostat were cleaned up.

I've had a replacement boiler installed by Nicholson for over 6 months now.
From the initial telephone enquiry to quotation and installation, every member of this company has delivered friendly, helpful and expert service.
Their quotation process was simple and efficient, displaying a number of replacement boiler options based on my property's needs, tailored around my own input, too. Very reasonably priced options, I may add.
Installation was equally as efficient, alongside being spotlessly clean. The final product is actually quite attractive, considering it's essentially a box with a bunch of pipes sticking out of it. The guys here have it down to a fine art.
Aftercare is also provided from Nicholson, for those that wish to have trouble-free heating. I'll be back shortly for the first service on my boiler, and I'm sure I'll be back again for many more years to come.

Excellent company to deal with, communication 100%. Had new boiler fitted 5/1/2026 by David and Matty workmanship first class. All floors covered with protection cover and removed after installation, they left place spotless. I would definitely recommend this company 100%

I had a Warmflow boiler put in 7 years ago. from the very first Service pipes within the boiler were wet and corroded.Engineer informed me it was nothing to worry about.Since then I have consistantly lost heating over the years and consistantly asked the engineer every time if the pipes should be replaced. I was even told by the engineer there had been a few problems with this type of boiler.I am a widower and almost 83 and when the heating went off you can imagine it was not pleasant. Fortunately my grandsons would bring heating appliances until the problem was solved. Although the staff at Nicholsons are very pleasant I feel after knowingly the consistent problems I was experiencing all they had to do was change the pipes from the very first year. Since then I have had three independent professionals out who have all confirmed the pipes should have been replaced. I have had the main pipe changed and will be arranging for the rest to be changed.

We had our boiler serviced and the engineer was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a good job and picked up on a part that was about to fail, so it was replaced there and then.

Just had our first annual service of our boiler. The engineer arrived on time, with text messages sent to track how far away he was. Everything was undertaken in a professional, tidy and friendly manner. Would recommend them for your boiler needs.

Martin called today for a service on two Baxi boilers in our home. He is a credit to Nicholson’s company. He arrived early on day servicing due and completed servicing. He used overshoes around our house was sociable and meticulous and left the locations of the boilers clean and tidy. He asked if there was anything I wished him to follow up on and was very curtious. Telephoned to make Service appointment. Very pleasant assistant was able to give appt to suit me. Engineers called within the time window. (1st Dec 2025). Spent plenty of time servicing the boiler. The main engineer could be heard providing good instruction to the other who was being trained. No fuss, no mess. Highly recommend Nicholson Heating.

Mother in laws 30 year old boiler broke recently so called Nicholson's. They came out the same day to price up the work needed to replace the boiler and it was booked in for the following week. She said the men doing the work were brilliant and polite. She is extremely pleased with the work carried out on a new Vaillant boiler. Would recommend!

1.) It was great to phone Nicholson Heating Services and speak to a person rather then hear a voice mail from a one man operation. Both Nicola and Charlotte were both knowledgable and very helpful.

2.) The new boiler was fitted expertly on the day agreed. John and his apprentice arrived on time and were both helpful and highly efficient.

Had a new boiler and radiators installed by nicholson in 2024. This recent visit was for the boilers’ first annual service. The engineer, Ethan, turned up 5 mins early, explained everything he was doing. Polite and professional throughout, a credit to the company.

Excellent service. Have used Nicholsons for 10 years now. They installed my boiler and renewed pipework and re positioned flue, all conforming to legal requirements.
Annual services to boiler and gas fire have all been excellent with friendly and efficient engineers.
