Experience beyond the ordinary

I had the pleasure of trying the new brunch at Nimb today – and wow, I’m still blown away. The food is clearly made with passion and presented so beautifully it feels like eating art. Every detail, from the thoughtful menu to the outstanding service, was spot on.

A special shoutout to our server, Maya, who guided us with warmth and professionalism – she truly elevated the whole experience.

The ambiance in the hall was delightful, with pleasant music and a cheerful atmosphere.

Today, my mother and I had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at Nimb. We arrived at 12:00 and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our server, who was an excellent communicator, seated us by the fireplace.

Based on our server's recommendation, we tried the special flower vanilla tea paired with the salted part of the menu. The tea was exquisite, and the food was simply delightful.

The ambiance in the hall was delightful, with pleasant music and a cheerful atmosphere.

When the second round of sweets arrived, I must admit that I am not typically a fan of overly sweet desserts. However, I found the cakes to be surprisingly delicious. While some were slightly sweeter than my personal preference, they complemented the recommended tea perfectly.

Overall, our experience at Nimb was exceptional. The food was delectable, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was charming. We extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Nimb for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.

What was supposed to be a joyous…

What was supposed to be a joyous occasion ended up being a very sad and uncomfortable experience for all the attendees at a wedding party at Nimb.

How can Nimb seriously deny their responsibilty for an experience, that resulted in diarhea, vomiting and fever for all the dining guests at the party, and not offer a complete refund? Several guests had to enter electrolyte treatment to avoid severe dehydration and had to call in sick for work. Last but not least the bride and groom had to postpone their honeymoon, which was a gift from the guests.

All dishes and drinks were served individually for each guest and handled by the staff. As such, it is even more concerning that Nimb are willing to deny their responsibility for the incident.
The response from the Danish food control, concluded that missing hand washing after being at the toilet were the problem.

We can certainly not reccommend that anybody chooses Nimb for a similar occasion, as it can have serious health implications. We hope that this review can raise awareness and help you consider whether or not you plan to dine at Nimb.

Tak for din mail. Norovirus er ikke en luftbåren virus, men smitter udelukkende via fækal-oral rute, dvs. via viruspartikler, som udskilles i afføringen hos den smittede. Som tidligere nævnt, så har Norovirus en meget lav infektionsdosis hvilket betyder, at hvis man er syg og ikke er overordentlig omhyggeligt med håndhygiejnen, så kan man meget let smitte andre mennesker i forbindelse med spisning eller ex. ved brug af samme toiletforhold. Derfor vil man heller ikke forvente at mennesker man blot har krammet vil blive smittet.

Vi kan desuden oplyse, at vi fortsat ikke har modtaget andre henvendelser og betragter sagen som afsluttet.

Hvis du ikke er tilfreds med Fødevarestyrelsens opfølgning, kan du rette henvendelse til én af 3 nedenstående forbrugerorganisationer, som kan påklage Fødevarestyrelsens håndtering til Miljø- og Fødevareklagenævnet. Denne klage skal være indgivet til Fødevarestyrelsen inden for 4 uger fra modtagelsen af denne meddelelse.

Når vi konstaterer, at en gæst melder om mistanke om madforgiftning, følger vi vores procedurer og undersøger sagen til bunds sammen med Fødevarestyrelsen. Her har man ikke kunne konstatere at smitten skulle være opstået hos Nimb. First, we do our very best to ensure that our guests enjoy their visit – especially at a wedding. We therefore sincerely regret that your day of celebration ended the way it did and are sorry for the trouble this has caused.

We have strict food safety rules, that needs to be followed. If there is an incident in which a guest develops an illness after a visit at one of our restaurants, we must report this, and a detailed investigation takes place. From the very day we received your account of events, we have therefore reported the incident to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and followed all procedures. However, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration have assessed, that it has not been an illness caused by the food at Nimb. In addition, no other cases have been reported at Nimb Brasserie.

We thank you once more for reaching out to us and we have processed the complaint directly with you.
