2015 Nissan Versa CVT and Safety

2015 Nissan Versa 83,850 odometer meter. Was running good up to March 12, 2006, no weird noises no transmission slipping . Car acceleration stopped in middle lane during rush hour on busy California highway..
Wish I new about CVT Transmission before my daughter could of had serious consequences that afternoon.
No incentive by a Nissan. Besides poor vehicle Very Poor car for SAFETY.

ladies and gentlemen just don't buy a Nissan car, no customer service, the techs have no idea what they are doing because they don't get enough training so basically they don't know how to repair their own cars. my car had a computer problem and they weren't able to resolve it and i ended up trading it in with a Toyota. Now I have been trying to get my gap insurance refund and am still straggling for the past 5 months, so I am taking the case to court.

Bait and switch

Went in to view a vehicle at Lokey Nissan listed at 32,077. I called days ahead and was told the OTD would be around 35k OTD. I went in (drove over an hour) to make the purchase and the price jumped to 46k OTD. That is 14k in fees. My mind was literally blown. I let them know what I was told and they countered with 39k OTD. So now just 7k in added fees. Obviously I was still not satisfied and had been lied to. I've had some bad dealership experiences. Most of us have. This one pulled a bait and switch like no other. I've never been so disrespected in my entire life. Please go anywhere else.

If I could do less than 1 I would

If I could do less than 1 I would. If you have a problem please, please make them take a real look at it and not tell you this and that. Because they will take a look once the warranty expires. So I’m not happy with the nissan dealership at this time. I feel as a woman I was duped

The salesman Brian

The salesman Brian, helped get me what I wanted! But Nissan corporation doesn’t seem to care about their customers! I made a full payment 3 days before I got a new 26 model, and they will not return any of my payment ! Ridiculous!!!

Nissan Frontier lacks critical safety feature

I have been searching for a good mid-size truck and had settled on the Nissan Frontier when I discovered that it doesn't provide a basic safety protection feature:
a locking gas cap with an in cab release mechanism. To me this is bizarre. Why spend $50k+ for a vehicle when any malicious random passerby can simply access your gas tank by opening the fuel door and twisting the cap? Simply tipping in ONE CUP OF SUGAR OR VARIOUS LIQUIDS WILL DESTROY THE ENGINE. This should be standard. I don't pay $50k+ and then have to go to an aftermarket supplier, who can't provide an in cab fuel door release anyway. A good way to strand an unsuspecting driver in an unsafe area would be to do that VERY THING.

Nissan needs to be responsible to us…

Nissan needs to be responsible to us consumers for those horrible CVT transmissions they made. We bought these cars thinking they were going to be good, decent and dependable cars only to find out that the manufacturer screwed us over and now were all stuck with transmissions that don't work. Sad.

I been with Nissan since 2001 ,bought and lease sometimes 2 or 3 vehicles at a time, in the beginning costumer service was great that’s why I never changed my cars until now, they don’t care about customers satisfaction or safety once u walk out the door of a dealership, but dealing with Corporate Nissan , u might just commit suicid , they a the biggest joke on Earth , that’s why this is my last year with Nissan, please do your self a favor even if the price seems great the service will make u think again

Nissan is a shifty company all around

Nissan is a shifty company all around. Promised an oil change when I bought a new car. Never received it. Took the car in for a service that amounted to them checking my rear door panel (which was faulty) and they drove my car 60+ miles while in their possession. Not to mention the Nissan app, which is highly problematic and questionable and conveniently frequently 'doesn't work', in addition to their practice of shifting principal only payments away from the app and saying it can only be done online, which obviously is a scam.

Stay away from Nissan Murano's built in 2025/2026, especially the SL Platinum Trim line. They have a huge electronic, ignition/RPM issue that Nissan is not being transparent about, other than you don't see many of these new body styles on the road. Ours has been in their shop nearly 2 months!

Way to lay off my friend before the holidays. A bunch of Mexicans stuck with your scum company after being offered opportunities at other companies because they believed in Mexico’s ability to deliver with their new CEO. I’ll forever stand by your place as a bottom tier company and you’ll never have my business. Which funny enough they persuaded me to give you. Can’t wait for this to be taken down while you hide between you faux nice interiors.

NMAC/Nissan Finance is the epitome of…

NMAC/Nissan Finance is the epitome of corporate greed and customer neglect. They slapped me with bogus charges, and when I challenged them, they showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Instead, they rushed to send it to collections, caring nothing about the truth or the customer. This company operates like a machine that sees people as dollar signs, not human beings.

In my view, it’s no wonder that Nissan is reportedly struggling financially and potentially facing bankruptcy. When a company treats its customers with such disregard, it’s not surprising that people lose trust and take their business elsewhere. If Nissan is losing support in the U.S. market, my experience makes it clear why: they don’t care about ethics, only squeezing money out of customers. I will never trust them again, and I strongly urge others to stay away.

Be careful what you buy at Nissan of Vero beach

This company owes me $4000 refund for getting rid of warrant in service agreement. I’ve been waiting almost 4 1/2 five months for my refund have not received it yet. I guess I’ll have to go there personally and that’s not a good thing. No when they owe you that kind of money say it’s gonna be in your account and come to no avail. There’s absolutely nothing in my account from them. I want my money for my refunds. I canceled them on a brand new car so there’s no problems involved.

Horrific Customer Service

Temecula Nissan sold me a car with a bad starter. They delayed delivery to “fix” it, but a week later the starter failed and the car broke down in traffic. The GM, Jacob, called me personally to let me know he refused to help fix the issue.

When I reluctantly tried to use the extended warranty I bought, I found out Nissan had deactivated it—but still kept the $4,000 I paid. After endless back-and-forth with the repair shop, warranty company, and Nissan, the starter was finally replaced—three whole months later.

The car sat useless that whole time, costing me thousands in lost income. And this is how they treat someone that’s purchased 10 cars from them. I exhort you to buy yours vehicles elsewhere.

NEVER AGAIN

NEVER AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WAS A CUSTOMER FOR 15+ YEARS!! My last lease was returned a couple months ago.The actual mileage on my path finder was only 26,875. The bill they sent me after the lease was $1,124 for 3 tires and disposition. Not to mention I did buy another car from them but it was used and not a Nissan. I called to talk about the fees and their systems were down. I forgot to call back and 30 days later I get a call from a collection agency! They said I can pay 70% and I would be all good. I did it and now they submitted a derogatory line on my credit report for paid less than due. They gave me no time to get the $ and didn't say this would be reported!! I call again and spoke to Richard. Now their lease info on their computers are down! He was very rude and told me to call back tomorrow!! He kept talking over me when I was talking and even got loud!! How can someone like that have a job in customer service! I never paid my car payment late ever the 15 years I was with them and this is how they treat me. I am hoping to get this out to every platform I can and please pass this info on!!
