Disappointing
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of a dress I purchased. I wore it only once and have not even washed it (dry clean), yet the fabric has already developed numerous pulls and snags. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of quality.
To make matters worse, I had already contacted customer service because one of the detachable straps snapped. It’s very concerning that I’ve experienced multiple quality issues with the same dress after such minimal use.
Based on the fact that the dress has only been worn once and has never been laundered, I believe these are manufacturing defects rather than normal wear and tear.
I have contacted customer service and hope they will resolve this by offering a full refund or replacement. Until then, I can’t recommend purchasing this dress based on my experience.
Nothing ever fits not worth the price
Purchased items from nobodys child twice now and they've never fit right.
First was a top which I exchanged for a size 4 and the empire line still sat in a really odd unflattering place.
Today a dress arrived and I was hopeful it would be lovely but the polyester lace is scratchy and the side seam zip puckers when worn which is unsightly for a slip dress I look like I have a 3rd hip!
All in all I've lost £18 (in unrefunded delivery and returns service charges) over the last year to NC and I just dont see the point in continuing to shop from them
ALSO - you can't review an item on their website- so what are the reviews but bias collections from where exactly???
Refuse to refund
It's been two weeks and no response or updates on my refund. Avoid this company.
Refund
I bought a skirt recently from this company and unfortunately it didn't fit well. I paid £68.75 for this (which included £5 for postage!) , but they only refunded £59.75, as they charge £4 handling fee, which i found outrageous, so I've ended up spending £9 for nothing! Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from this company in the future, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Josefa
It was the worst online shopping…
It was the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend this brand.
The product was not as described. It was much shorter than expected and far too big, so the size chart is clearly inaccurate.
Returns are at the customer’s expense. I requested a return label, but instead they only sent me return instructions, so I paid €29.99 for shipping. When I later asked to be reimbursed for the extra shipping cost, they claimed I could have used their prepaid DHL return label. I repeatedly explained that they never sent me one, I requested a return, and they only provided return instructions.
They argued with me over €12 for more than a month. In the end, I gave up trying to get my money back, but the whole experience felt dishonest and like a rip-off.
Avoid this brand.

RJ was very helpful and answered my queries very quickly and efficiently- thank you.
Customer service assistance
I recently made an order online and accidentally entered an incorrect shipping address. I contacted customer services for assistance, sending an email at 19.24. I received a response at 19.27 (same day) confirming that the parcel would be redirected to the correct address once received back from Royal Mail. The item was received by the recipient today. The customer service was excellent.
Difficult to obtain a return label
Deleted confirmation email and was unable to obtain a return label. There is no live chat, just an email that no one answers. I guess they do it on purpose so that we miss the return date and get stuck with poor quality items.
Awful company. Will never order from them again.
I ordered a dress from Nobodys Child
I ordered a dress from Nobodys Child, then realised I was being charged £10 for delivery. I immediately cancelled my order within the 15 minute window of opportunity given online to cancel the order. This cancellation showed as successful.
The said dress was delivered to my home address. Not Happy.
I was then charged £4 to send it back, bringing the total to £14 for a dress I cancelled.
I reached out to Customer service to recieve a generic email and no refund for their mistake.
Very poor service and ridiculus handling fees.
First time customer here
First time customer here. Wrong size sent. I don't have time to send back. When I complained I got a crappy generic response asking me to send it back and ask either for a replacement or a refund. Infuriating. I needed this urgently and ordered with plenty of time. I won't be buying from here again.
I emailed about an item that had been…been lost in the post apon returning it via royal mail
I emailed about an item that had been lost in the post. They responded within 5 minutes and have refunded my item, which was processed within 24hours. Extremely helpful and efficient. They actually went above and beyond as they answered an email outside of the customer service advertised hours. Unfortunately there is no personal name on the emails so the individual can get the kudos. Thanks again
I am never shopping online with…
I am never shopping online with Nobody's Child again - £5 delivery and £4 return is just not justifiable. The clothes are nice but not nice enough to justify these overly inflated charges. Just leaves a bad taste sadly.
Geat brand with efficient customer service
Clothes arrived quickly, packaged well. Lovely quality. I returned 2 items, return took a while to get to warehouse for a refund. Had an email conversation with customer service who were quick and handled my query brilliantly. Gave me a refund straight away as the return was taking a while to be processed!
Bad and costly experience.
I ordered two items from this website and tried to cancel them within the 15 minute allotted time as I made an error.
I selected cancel on both items and it carried on counting down. I emailed them to confirm cancellation. I received both items I tried to cancel. I am being charged £4 for each item to return. And one dress I paid £140 for they are only returning me £135!!! Plus the £4 return. Absolute scam! It has cost me £13 to return two items I had cancelled and I didn’t even get all my money back on the price of one dress. I would AVOID! and will not be buying again from them in the future. I’m sure it is actually illegal not to return me the price I actually paid!
Quick and efficient
Through no fault of the company, a dress I returned was lost by parcel force. However with a proof of delivery from myself , this matter was dealt with very quickly and I was informed that a refund was on its way to myself. So the slogan Here to Help was very appropriate
Bought a waistcoat top in the sale
Bought a waistcoat top in the sale, didn’t fit very well, small for its size, sent it back, with the prepaid label, they charged me £9.00 altogether for the return, label plus “ handling fee” what a rip off, won’t shop with them again.

I very foolishly mixed up 2 returns and sent each of my purchases to the wrong businesses one of them being Nobody’s Child. I cannot thank them enough for recovering the wrong package and returning it to me and at their cost too. Big shout out for their diligence and kindness! Great service 👏👏👏
Worst customer service ever! Faulty items
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Nobody’s Child has been extremely disappointing.
I returned a faulty dress and the process has been frustrating from start to finish. I had to repeatedly chase customer services just to get the faulty return approved. Once the item was finally returned, Royal Mail confirmed it was received by Nobody’s Child on 8 June.
Their own communication states that returns will be reviewed and processed within 7 working days. Weeks later, my return still hadn’t been processed and my £89 refund was nowhere to be seen.
I contacted customer services to ask for an update and to check whether the refund would still be credited correctly because the original payment card had expired (the account itself remains active). I received no meaningful response. I chased again and was still ignored.
It’s incredibly frustrating to have to keep chasing a retailer for money they owe you, particularly when the item was faulty in the first place. Delays happen, but poor communication and a lack of accountability are much harder to excuse.
The clothing is lovely, but unfortunately the after-sales service falls well below what I’d expect from a premium-priced retailer. Based on my experience, I’d think twice before ordering again, simply because if something goes wrong, you’re left doing all the chasing
Nice Styles but not great fit and handling fee unfair
I think the dresses are nice when you see them online but the ones I ordered did not fit me properly and one of them the elastic on the shoulder was very loose so would not stay up
I think the handling fee is very unfair and would make me think twice about buying from them again
Online shopping should not be be penalised if the goods are not suitable
Disappointed in quality
Really nice designs and materials, but the quality is pretty bad. My dress came with one button already detached and the zipper does not close how it's supposed to... Clearly overpriced for what you get. Sad.
