Scam site charge £5 more then local can council.
Charge more than local council. I paid then relised I’d used wrong site. Site not responding to emails as changed plans after paying and no longer needed to travel to Bristol. I have been trying for 3 days now to get refund but no one is responding.

Scam site that took £14 for CAZ…
Scam site that took £14 for CAZ Portsmouth which is £10. Not officially the right site but unfortunately I fell for it. Paid on official government website now because of reading other reviews they’ve got saying they don’t pass on payment. Why do they come up on the internet when you put in pay CAZ. It stinks. Scam robbers.

Excellent customer service
I raised a support ticket via the Nochex website after I had inadvertently made a payment of a Clean Air Zone charge to a 3rd party website, believing it was an official one. I consider myself very scam aware however I accept that I should have been alerted to the fact that the payment requested was more than the official CAZ charge levied in that area.
I was extremely concerned that my card details had been compromised however having read other reviews of this company I discovered that Nochex had been very helpful in a similar situation. Diane from the Nochex support team responded very quickly to my query and reassured me that the payment site I had used was not fraudulent, albeit the company involved collect CAZ charges and pay them over to the government. Additionally she also advised that the overpayment (in my case £1.50) was the company’s ’fee’ for taking the payment.
As I had subsequently paid the fee via the official channel ( government website) Diane arranged a refund for me and kept me informed every step of the way.
Like other reviewers I was very impressed with the service given by Nochex, and Diane in particular.
Nochex are simply a payment processing company and not the company who have set up the payment website and as such shouldn’t be receiving the negative feedback that they appear to be receiving. In my opinion they are a very reputable company who are incorrectly being linked to perhaps less transparent ones.

Is it a genuine company?
I paid £6 for my Dartford Crossing on 27/08/2023 to this company. But I received a Penalty Charge Notice from the government on 26/11/2023 with a hefty fine as they did not receive a payment from Nochex. They said Nochex is not a recognise and unknown company to them. I don't have any option so I dealt with the penalty charge office and at the end thanks to them they offered me to pay the official crossing fee of £2.50 which I paid ASAP.

Avoid this scammers nochex charged me 14£ i stead of 8£ for driving into Birmingham clean air zone. They normally hold your money for like three days and it easily to incur a fine. The charges are normally 8 pounds.

They deleted my account/history from 1999-2001 days when I used Yahoo Auctions with Nochex.
I had to re-register and verify/validate my bank/credit cards again. Plus I was charged again.

If you don't like stress then don't pay this company!! Bad service up to now!!
I paid my B/ham airzone to this company Nochex last Thurs £14.
Today Monday still hasn't been paid, after ringing Diane (Nochex) she says she will send an email to Chris( who is not answering his phone), from airzone, I am awaiting a reply to see if he has paid by Tuesday...my final day. I will update the outcome....Citizens Advice have been called and given advice of next steps to look into this if nothing is done by Tuesday.
