I had problems at the start turning on…
I had problems at the start turning on the Nomad e-sim but after I had it all figured out , everything went smoothly. It was great not to worry about data and not to use public wifi.

I’m not sure that I’m using Nomad correctly I thought it would take care of all my phone charges from NZ. I still think I’ve got roaming charges from New Zealand and I thought Nomad would take care of that.

I booket a package for Asia including China, Hongkong and Macao. It worked just in Hongkong, not in China and Macao. So more days it did´t work and i payed for nothing.

Doesn’t allow you to make calls
I didn’t like that I couldn’t make a phone call. It wasn’t what I wanted. I nearly missed my flight because I could not phone a taxi or anyone to help me. Very very stressful!

Travelling through eastern and central europe
Once I activated the nomad eSIM I was right to go. So easy, just turn off your primary SIM and then toggle on the Nomad Sim. We went through 7 countries in eastern and Central Europe over 4 weeks. I did use wifi when I could to save data just by turning on flight mode. I only used 5GB, even though I bought 10GB. Would recommend Nomad to anyone travelling.
