If you are too happy and want to suffer, buy here. (Lied to me 3 times)

Are you feeling too happy these days? Do you want to ruin your peace of mind and bring stress upon yourself? Then this is the perfect shop for you.

If you have masochistic tendencies or enjoy self-torture, I highly recommend Nordic New. They will provide you with the worst experience imaginable.

They lied to me 3 times regarding shipping:

Lie #1: They promised to ship "next week," but never did.

Lie #2: They sent a fake "Dispatched" email with NO tracking number to buy time.

Lie #3: When I pushed them, they sent me a tracking number for a different person in a different country (Hong Kong). It was a total disaster.

On top of that, when I asked for a standard document for customs, they refused and told me to "find a solution yourself."

They are incompetent, arrogant, and dishonest. Unless you want to pay money to buy stress, STAY AWAY.

Scam artists?

I ordered an item from Nordic New specifically due to the stated delivery date as I knew I was going to be out of town after that date. They missed their stated delivery date by weeks and the item came while I was away and unable to receive it and pay the customs charges - so the item was returned to sender. It is currently sitting in their warehouse and they are refusing to refund me so now I have to escalate this which is a big pain, even more so as their customer service is rude, condescending and unprofessional (including suggesting that I “come and get” the item from their warehouse which is in a different country).

We are sorry that your purchasing experience was not what you expected.

I went after it for you to see where things went wrong.

We sent your order on 27/11/23, which is 5 days after it was ordered, and as indicated in this article on our site, we deliver after 6 working days.

Of course, we cannot do anything about the fact that delivery times to the UK will be longer due to Brexit.

Your package has been at customs in the UK for 8 weeks, and they have tried to contact you several times to indicate that there were customs clearance costs, but no response was received and ultimately the package was returned to us without prior notice.

I think our expression, which is at your disposal in our warehouse, may have been misunderstood, we mean that we are awaiting your response. Our apologies for the confusion.

As a courtesy, we are willing to resend the package to you and pay the shipping costs again, or perhaps we can offer you a gift voucher and you can choose another item that you like.

I ordered and paid an article a few…

I ordered and paid an article a few months ago, still waiting. If I were told that I should wait that long, I would have saved my money.

[Update 24 May 2022, week 22 of 2022.]
As I do not manage to reply to the below comment of Nordic New, I want to clarify I few aspects:
1) My order was placed and paid on 12 February 2022;
2) On 13 April (2 months later!) I received an email notification that my order was delayed and that it would be "delivered around week 19-20 instead of week 15";
3) Now (24 May) we are in week 22 and I haven't received my order neither have I received any further communication of delays / expected delivery date from Nordic New;
4) I let the readers draw their own conclusions.
