I bought the Golden Hour sunset lamp. The actual product was shipped from China and is very dim and nowhere close to the picture shown on their website.

I contacted them for a return and sent over the videos they required. However, they keep nitpicking the videos and ask for another video after another. They agreed to a return with me paying for the shipping, citing their "return policy", despite it being a case of "Not as described".

I have never experienced a more difficult return experience. For those who have a similar experience, I would suggest filing a dispute with your credit card if you paid with it.

Not really a Canadian company, tracking doesn't work, and delivery was terrible. But the product looks ok. UPDATE: Customer SErvice keeps emailing with the same answer (international shipping damages boxes, send us videos of the lamp not working). I've had the same requests from 2 diff people. I took the requested videos, yet they are too large to email, and the company has not offered an alternative way to submit the videos showing possible defects in the lamp. So outcome is that I give a defective lamp in a crushed box as a Christmas gift. Won't be dealing with this company again. UPDATE: Customer service really came through in the end. A replacement item was sent, free of charge, and arrived in tact and functioning normally on Jan 1. Too late to give our daugjter for Christmae, but she will get it eventually. Thanks Nordic Peace for making it right.

Nordic Peace website suggests it is an ethical, eco aware Canadian family owned company. However the order tracking info I received shows the item I bought is being sent direct from Ezhou, China. Transparency and authenticity goes a long way with me so on that basis I will not be purchasing from Nordic Peace again!
Follow up:
I have now received my item, a pair of clog type slippers. The Nordic Peace website described these as genuine suede. They aren't. They are made from a cheap looking synthetic material. I have emailed Nordic Peace to get a refund and postage paid return label. This is on the basis these clog slippers were inaccurately advertised. I will wait to see the response and customer service I receive.
Final update:
Customer service contacted me and offered a full refund inc my postage charge. In this instance they did not require me to send the clog/slippers back and I have donated them to a local charity shop. Their returns policy normally requires you to send items back to their USA/Canada returns address at your own expense, unless items are faulty. In my case the clogs/slippers were not as described on the website. I was asked to edit my review. Both my earlier reviews above are entirely accurate so I am not editing them. However the fact customer service contacted me promptly and gave me a full refund is again accurate so I am happy to add this as a final update. My overall experience means I would not recommend this company and I will not be purchasing from them again due to misleading advertising of the item I purchased, dubiety as to where this item was manufactured, and the poor quality of the item I received.

Not based in the UK. Took a while to arrive and I’m sure if I wanted a refund i would have to pay high postage to China. The slippers claimed to be size 41-42, they are size 40.5 at the most. Website advertises easy returns. For sure they will offer 30% if you keep the items. So many of these sites are active, it forces you to buy everything from large well known suppliers so not to get scammed. Real shame.

A manager from Nordic Peace reached out today. She reiterated that two orders were placed, with separate confirmation emails, etc. I searched my email multiple times, looking for the second order number, but no separate confirmation or shipping update emails with that number were ever received.

She offered to fully refund the second charge. I do not have to return the second product. I accepted the refund offer and very much appreciate the company’s final decision to refund my money.

Do not buy from this company! I do not believe the information on their website about their location and their owners. They shipped two orders, I have all the emails I received concerning my ONE order. Only one order number is ever mentioned, both in a confirmation email and shipping updates. They charged me twice. When I contacted them I was asked to show photos of packaging and proof of double payment. I did that. Now they claim they can tell from what I submitted that two orders were placed, they say they don’t have the ability to refund my money for the extra item even though I said I would return it if they sent me a prepaid postage return label. What kind of business could this be? Chinese with a plan to scam. BEWARE!

Recently purchased three pairs of slippers from Nordic Peace, taking advantage of their 3for 2 deal!
Was blown away by the quality and price.
Delivery was about 11 days which was explained at start of process but kept informed of progress throughout.
Can’t wait to gift them this Christmas!

Ordered several different items from this company. Everything was/is fantastic! Great quality, lovely products. One item got slightly damaged during the shipping process and after reaching out to the business to let them know, they quickly got back to me & offered to replace the item. Very accommodating and great communication back and forth.

These socks are absolutely adorable! 💕 They’re the cutest ones I’ve ever seen 😍 — the design is lovely and every little detail is perfect. The quality is great too: the fabric feels soft and comfortable, and they keep their shape and color after washing. These are now my favorite socks — I love wearing them every day! 🧦✨

I am missing a teaspoon from the cutlery set I purchased. Each individual utensil was also plastic wrapped, which felt misaligned with their mission statements. The product itself is okay, but I did feel like the pictures were a little exaggerated, but it's cutlery, there's bigger problems in the world. I wish there was a way to buy a specified
amount of cutlery, as opposed to a set of six each. Eight would be a more appropriate amount for my needs, but I'm not spending $90 more dollars.

Love that this is a Canadian company. Had the best experience with customer service. I needed to get some assistance and they emailed me back right away and helped me with my order. Looking forward to getting my package. Ordered the quilted duffel bag for a Christmas gift. She’s gonna love it!!

Slow delivery with out advising it will take more than 2 weeks to arrive. They did not set the right expectation.

Fraudulent company selling dupe low quality products from China. Beware. I will be reporting them. Most of the reviews on here I can only assume are fake. Their customer service refuses to refund, simply sending automated responses asking for your feedback when you try and return an item.

I love the jacket, it’s beautiful! Fits great, sleeves are perfect length. Super soft which I appreciate!! The shipping was a bit wonky & I could not see any updates for a couple days but it was pretty fast delivery. Overall happy with my purchase <3
