Norse Projects was established in 2004 in the cold city of Copenhagen, Denmark. The goal was to create a truly international shop in Denmark which combines street, classic workwear and fashion culture, and immerses itself in the best of it.

Radio silence!!
Radio silence!!
Contacted back in November 2025 and am still awaiting a response! Appalling customer service! I'll not be buying clothes from them in the future.
Are colors part of reality ?
The color of the shirt has nothing to do with the real color. The website picture is retouched and so much brighter. The shirt you buy is not the shirt you get. When you ask an explanation to the customer service, you get lost.

Have never come across worse customer services
Received a faulty item of clothing
On their return policy they state that the customer is responsible for postage of return items with the usual options of why you are returning such as wrong size or not as expected etc
The cost of returning an item from the US to Denmark is ridiculous without corporate discount which many other shops provide to reduce cost for customers
Sent Norse projects and email ( there is no contact number). Several days after the initial automated response that their customer services are busy during this season they sent a polite reply requesting more information
Sent them more details including a video of the fault
Since then they have not responded but have also ignored my emails for the past 6 weeks

Would give them 0 stars if possible. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.
On average 1-2 months of waiting time to get a reply from their customer service, phone numbers to stores does not work and worst is broken promises.
I won't buy their products again!
No customer service
No customer service. For what seems like a reputable brand, to not even reply to customers, is poor. Will not buy from them again and will advise mates within network to avoid too.
I try to avoid leaving bad reviews but if after multiple follow up attempts on email without reply, I’m left with no other choice.
Do not order from this company - Zero customer service
Do not order from this company. I ordered 3 items a while ago and wanted to return two of the items. The return never got picked up and I have tried to contact them many times - They do NOT Answer. The customer service is non-existing. No answers after at least 4-5 emails and reminders. Be aware!
Worse aftercare experience
Worse aftercare experience, they never answer your emails. The product arrived damaged, I sent more than 10 emails and no one answered. They don't even have a phone number, so you can't reach out to them. You don't want to buy products from this type of company
Very bad after care
Very bad after care. Response time is enormous. Besides, they didn’t accept a return package offered at their door and leave you guessing in the dark about the aftermath.
Wouldn't accept responsibility for the…
Wouldn't accept responsibility for the aweful quality and design and priced at $400. Nah...forget about it for ever. Bought at Vestis Pittsburgh ( never shop there again)
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service that needs attention. I’ve been a customer for a long time and used to be happy with the quality of the products. I bought 3 twill caps in different colours and all of them have been bleached by the sunlight after hardly any wears. I asked if this was normal or if anything could be done as they are quite expensive, I was told to put them in the wash and had all other emails ignored since. I will no longer purchase this brand as there are plenty of alternatives in the market.
Amazing products and great service!
Product quality is very strong
Product quality is very strong, I think the material selection is a lot more interesting than other brands in the market and the fit is great. Of course there are cheaper alternatives, but they truly are cheaper and if you want something that will last, go with Norse Projects!
Poor manufacturing, wool cardigan
I purchased a men’s wool cardigan, within half a dozen wears the button hole stitching became frayed. I had to pay to have every button hole resewen. Also the button holes were very large compared to the button resulting in the buttons popping out all the time. Very poor quality control, expensive disappointment. You are paying for the tag with this brand.
depends on what
I bought a backpack, the ARKTISK Black 25L Day Backpack model, which is the most durable backpack I've ever had in my life. However, I find that Blinir sweaters are of poor quality; they pill too quickly and look terrible after two months.
Tore jacket a month after the purchase
Tore jacket a month after the purchase. Reached out to customer support for repairs. No advice or services where offered. Disappointed in the quality and the (missing) lacking service.
Norse have gone coarse!
Products seem to have gone down hill, I used to swear by their Niels standard Tees as the perfect design, however the last one I purchased has completely faded after just one use, also a recent purchase of some Aros shorts, another favourite just don't seem to have the quality they once had, such a shame, sort it out Norse!
Return portal doesn't work
Return portal doesn't work - customer support doesn't answer. What a joke for a company charging such prices. Will never order again.
Down Filled Garbage
I bought a down filled jacket from them (£700.00) which had the Pertex finish, supposedly waterproof. Guys, before buying, take a look at the negative reviews, there is a reason for them.
First time out in the rain the jacket was totally porous which ruined the down filling.
After several emails and two weeks, no offer of a refund or replacement, just a comment that they will report the issue to their production team.
This is obviously no comfort at all as i am now £700.00 out of pocket on a product which is not ft for purpose.
Very poor products and even worse customer service.
Avoid at all costs.
Reviews from a closet full of Norse Projects
I have a closet full of Norse Projects (NP) clothing and a love/hate relationship with the brand.
NP sizing is wildly inconsistent. Often I'll buy two of the same shirt/size and keep the one that fits better knowing that they will differ. I have three Sigfrid/Kirk/Adam sweaters that pile worse than sweaters a fraction of the cost (but are nearly as soft as cashmere). DO NOT buy their Vagn sweatshirts under any circumstances, I've had two and I've never seen an item shrink as bad as these--they shrunk at least 3 sizes and now are unwearable. When new...they were perfect. Similarly, their Nils shirts shrink irregularly (beware of grey heather-colored cotton items). At this price point, it is unacceptable that you could not machine wash a simple t-shirt or sweatshirt--"dry clean only" is not a permissible excuse; it is a design flaw.
Beware that even though their permanent collection appears year after year, they DO alter the FIT from year to year. A good rule of thumb is that the Vagn/Nils lines fit one or more sizes small, the Algot shirts fit true to size, and every other shirt fits one size large (sometimes two). Kirk/Adam/Sigfrid sweater sizing is also true to size. Every cotton item you buy from Norse Projects will shrink. A lot.
So why do I keep buying their stuff?
When an item does fit, it does so perfectly. I love the color and style combinations--simple, but with subtle, elevating design flourishes. Better flannel shirt patterns simply do not exist; NP has balanced the flannel universe. Their sweaters hit a sweet spot with a timeless, modern fit. Lastly, I shamefully identify with their "design ethos" and regrettably buy into their marketing. Its all fluff, but if clothes make you FEEL a certain way, of a certain tribe, in a certain moment, then they've done half their job. Remember: all you're really paying for with a luxury brand is perception.
My recommendation is only to buy NP clothes on significant discount (which I do) from online retailers. Make sure that you buy from retailers with a simple, straightforward return policy that works in your country because the chances you'll need to return an item are high. When you do find an item that works, enjoy the understated Scandinavian sophistication that the brand promotes so well.
Gone Massively Down-Hill
I’m not sure what’s happened to these guys, but they used to be amazing. Now they’ve gone up massively in price, hugely down in quality and their returns policy is shockingly bad. I used to buy so much from them, but now I feel the quality is the same as Uniqlo but 5x the price. It’s so disappointing as they were my favourite brand but now they are just mugging off their customers. Stay away and buy brands like Folk, COS or a Days March, a fraction of the price but better price.
