I ordered a leather jacket online and waited almost two weeks for delivery. When it finally arrived, it had an extremely unpleasant, rancid smell—a mix of chemicals and something resembling a spoiled whey protein smoothie. It did not smell like leather at all. Even after airing it out, the odour did not disappear and quickly spread throughout my home.
I contacted customer service to request an exchange for the same jacket that was not faulty. Unfortunately, they made no real effort to source a replacement or offer a practical solution, although the item was available in many of their stores across Europe, and only online sold out. The entire communication process was frustrating, unhelpful, and showed a complete lack of care for the customer.
I genuinely like the brand’s concept and design, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Poor quality control combined with very weak customer support has completely put me off purchasing from them again. This is one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had.

Was one of my favorite brands, design/style wise. 60%/70% of my closet was filled with samsøe, so I can say that im very familiar with the brand.
But the quality is dropping fast(!!!) last 3+ years (fabrics, longevity and poor construction). So fast that i would not advise anybody to buy stuff from Samsøe, simply because its not worth it anymore. Just one of many examples; I could throw my winterjacket away after 3 months, it looked like a deflated balloon. that was an expensive cost per wear haha... That was my final sign, quality is not what it used to be, and it such a shame 😭
If it is was my brand, I would be really ashamed, many negative reviews about the quality... is that worth maximizing profits? sincere question...
I really hope your take this feedback with you and make some changes on short notice.

After wearing it less than 5 times it has started pilling as cheap polyester (even though it's mostly wool and alpaca). It's covered completely on arms (upper arms and outside of the arms where there is no friction whatsoever), body and back are covered in them also. Upon closer inspection I noticed uneven knit thickness all over the cardigan with visible holes and thinning fabric. It's absolutely abysmal quality and bearing in mind the price point it is even more disappointing.

I bought two pairs of jeans.Rebecca and Sarebecca. I had tried them before in the shop but wanted a different length. I tried them at home and decided to keep them both because they fitted very well. I washed the two pairs before wearing them and now they seem to fit me loser and have already lost the shape. I am disappointed with the quality. I must specify that they were washed with cold water/ wool wash/ turned inside out.

Regarding our customer service inquiry, I asked because I was looking for a similar sweater. I had a very disappointing experience with Samsoe Samsoe. After returning an item within the legal period, the company refused to issue a proper refund, claiming the product smelled of perfume. They only offered 10% of the purchase price or suggested donating my item, even without my consent. This is not what I would expect from a reputable brand. Customer service was unhelpful and rigid. EDIT: I received the item back and it doesn`t smell of perfume at all.

I love this companies customer service. Fast quick and customer forward. I order jeans - the highest quality EVER - 2 were too large so I was able to return and still use a voucher for the newly ordered sizes. Response time is max 48 hours. I will be a customer for life!

I purchased a pair of trousers on their website on January, 3rd. The website said the delivery would take 4-6 days. It's January, 16th and I haven't received anything yet. When I contacted the customer service (getting increasingly angry by the lack of information and support) and complained that nobody had been able to locate my parcel, the manager advised me to "change my tone". Seriously? That's how you deal with the issues that are your fault? No apologies, no attempts to compensate the wait and the time I spent arguing with the DHL and the Hungarian Post. As if it was my fault. I have every right to be dissatisfied.
That's the first time I received such a reply. Utterly disappointed. Lost me as a customer

I purchased the Falcon coat (11104, S, in black) from Samsoe Samsoe’s online store in November 2022, and while the coat's style and comfort were great, I was shocked by how quickly it deteriorated. After just two winters, the inner lining developed multiple holes, spread randomly across the entire coat. This makes it clear that the damage isn’t caused by friction from bags or my clothing—it’s a quality issue.
I reached out to customer service, hoping for assistance or a resolution, but I was met with a dismissive response. Rather than acknowledging my issue or offering any help, they blamed "wear and tear" and flat out refused to address the problem. It's frustrating that a brand that markets itself on quality isn’t willing to stand behind their products or offer any form of compensation or repair.
I’ve always expected better from Samsoe Samsoe, but this experience has really changed my perception. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing from them again and wouldn’t recommend this brand based on how they treat customers when things go wrong.

Great product initially. However, after 3 months of wear the product defected and was not able to be worn. I contacted Samsoe and no ownership, no explanation, replacement, or fix. For the price, bad experience...
They told me to take it up with the retailer that sold me the product, but it was them!! I did not have an order number, nor did they have my card details, but this was because it was purchased in person! Like I told them, but this seemed to satisfy them that there was nothing they could do.
