Terrible Product, even worse customer service

I purchased a trimmer (Item# 6049972) back in April but did not use it until today, Big Mistake. I staterted it an the trimmer and I was able to operate it for about 10min and then it stopped working. Have not been able to get it going since then. Called up Northern Tool to have the trimmer checked out at a local repair shop and they told me it has a one month warranty and that I am out of luck.

The on-line experience was great

The on-line experience was great. Descriptions were clear, concise, and easy to read. I was able to find most of what I needed. I was a bit disappointed with the limited available choices of powered screwdrivers.

Credit card scam from Northern tools

Attention do not get a Northern Tool credit card. They make it impossible to pay the card on the phone it even says they no longer except payment through the phone. The only way is you have to speak to a live representative and even if you make the payments on time they will say you didn’t to charge interest fees. I have never missed a payment and only bought one item and have paid more than the monthly to ensure the card is being paid off. They do not want this they only want the minimum to be able to make money on the in interest or will state you are late to charge late fees. I watch each credit card through Credit Karma and have always made a payment on time! After apply the card they will offer you a very high amount mine was 15k but you have to purchase an item even if you apply for the card. I applied then want to just pay cash for my purchase they stated I had to you the card to get the card. Then after offer the high about they will falsify your payment history to drop your amount offer and even if you pay more will state you were late and charge you interest. My credit score is 780 if I wasn’t watching it I would have never caught what they are doing to make money off you. DO NOT APPLY for this Card it is a scam!!!!! Looking now at the reviews of other it shows I am not the only one that is dealing with this and there very poor customer service. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS CARD IT IS A SCAM!!!!! As a Contractor and a business owner do not use their card.

I got what I needed, and then some!

I ordered something I needed and I got two gift cards and got something I've been meaning to buy but was hesitating to spend the money. It's a great feeling, like I won a prize just for buying something I was going to buy anyway!
