On my way to Eurotunnel for a tour to the Czech Republic and back on a one-week-old BMW motorcycle and with an excited teenage son pillion, (i) the check engine light came on and (ii) my smartphone stopped charging in the Connected Ride cradle. North Oxford Motorrad was almost exactly on my planned route so I turned up hoping that both issues could be attended-to. This was not long before closing time, and without an appointment as both issues had occurred on the road within the prior half an hour.

Seb Robinson took ownership of my request and care of me and my son, and within 45 minutes we were back on our way to enjoy a fantastic holiday.

What can I say electra was more than helpful explaining the k1600 to me and she answered every question I had,no rushing me and not trying to push a sale. The bike was then serviced and readied for me to pick up in the short timescale that I had.

Well, after pontificating for over two years on whether to buy a Ducati or BMW, I finally took the plunge and what a great experience it’s been. Everyone from Jayne in reception to Josh, Clayton, James and Rian in sales has been simply fantastic. It wasn’t an easy decision having ridden a Ducati 1200r monster in the morning, albeit a 6year old 4k miler, then the BMW S1000r in the afternoon, two very similar but different bikes followed by a great conversation with the guys at BMW about what to do, who couldn’t have been more helpful, the decision was easy and so far no regrets.

Whilst on holiday in the Costswolds my headlight failed. I travelled to North Oxford Motorrad from Boughton on the water in the hope of some assistance. I was greeted by Ben on the service desk who after explaining my issue to him got the bike booked in and seen by a technician immediately. Within 40 minutes, I had the bike back with a working front headlight. What a great company to happily assist so I could return to my holiday. Speaks volumes in todays day and age!

I moved to the area 8 months ago and have ridden KTM's for the last 10 years or so and the time had come to swap for another KTM or so I thought, the local Oxfordshire KTM dealer was full of staff who seemed to be busy doing nothing and completely ignored me so I jumped back in the car and made my way to NOBMW
What a difference this this place was, from my initial "I'm just looking" visit with no idea of what I really wanted Elektra took time to find out what I had been riding to what I liked the look of and importantly what I actually needed from my new bike, a week later I was having a no hassle test ride on a 6 month old F750GS TE which I am now happily married to,
Throughout the whole process Elektra went above and beyond and made you feel like part of the family and for me this is the reason why I chose to swap brands as the people behind the brand make the brand

Another plus point is that NOBMW organise ride outs from their dealership once a month during the summer which for me is to meet is perfect to meet new people, or you can simply drop by for a coffee and a chat if you are just passing

Clayton Osso was the product specialist that helped me. From first visit to enquire about purchase of New GS1250 to test ride, and purchase nothing was too much trouble. Equally Clayton’s product knowledge was excellent. North Oxfords relaxed and professional atmosphere is an awesome experience. A coffee or cold drink, time and space to browse the large range of motorcycles on display without feeling of being pressured.

The guys at North Oxford BMW motorrad have always accommodated my needs for repairs, servicing and purchases.

Without quibble or fuss and with consideration to costs.

An excellent customer care and service throughout. I have been coming here for a number of years with my motorbikes. And shall remain the same for as long as I own a bmw motorbike.

Excellent customer service from the Motoraad Sales Team (Elektra) when exchanging my GSA1250 to a new lighter F850GSA

January 2021 was the first time I and any dealings with North Oxford bmw Motorrad when I bought a used bike from them. The process was easy and Ben the salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable and except for the miserable weather travelling to collect the bike (this has become a theme) the entire experience was very enjoyable.

They are certainly not my local dealership but I decided to take my bike for its 1st annual service (and then its second a year later) there too and the 280 mile round trip is worth it for the excellent customer service Seb in the service department has always given both on the phone and in person. The bike needed some warranty work which I asked to be postponed until less miserable weather was due, Seb then rang me to book the work in (as I’d forgotten)

During this visit I got talking with Elektra who as I’ve now come to expect from this dealership was just as friendly and knowledgeable as everyone else I’ve spoken to at the dealership. Elektra managed to put a deal together for me on a new bike, answering emails etc even on her days off. The team at North Oxford bmw Motorrad managed to do everything that was needed for me to collect a new bike within 3 days of me saying I was happy with the deal she had put together.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend North Oxford bmw Motorrad to anyone who was interested in servicing or buying a bmw bike.

I’m loving my new bike and will continue to use them to look after my new bike.

Even though North Oxford isnt the closest dealer to me from the first time i walked in nothing was to much bother. From a warm pleasant and well stocked showroom with enough kit and bikes to satisfy the most avide bmw fan.
Then we come to the service. Firstly i met Rian the sales manager who was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Second visit i sat down with Clayton. This young man was a true professional biker. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and again his knowlegde was second to none.
To me this place is a great dealership with superb friendly staff. Even though im 80 odd miles from here i will be coming back for all my servicing and support. Thank you North Oxford and make sure you look after these staff as people like this are hard to fine in this industry.
