Sears Craftsman garage door opener powers on but door would not close. After checking out the users manual troubleshooting guide, 5 red flashes, possible bad logic board.

I ordered this logic board after comparison shopping. This was found to be the cheapest. Order placed on 12/12/15 and received USPS on 12/18/15. The logic board received was already mounted on a door that did not fit our door opener. Removed the logic board from the door received and installed it onto the original door. Installation took a matter of minutes and garage door opener working again. I would definitely use this company again.

Do not buy from this company. They bait and switch products and their customer service is horrible.

I have been searching for a specific remote that is out of stock most places and finally found it on northshorecommercialdoor.com. I ordered 2 last week and was disappointed when they sent the replacement remote.

I called the company a few minutes ago and a man answered the phone and started to talk. I started to say something and realized he had answered the phone and was holding it to his ear while he continued a conversation with someone in his office! (or home- there was a dog barking) This conversation went on for over 10 seconds and I was slightly shocked at the poor manners.

When he finally acknowledged me, I explained what had happened and he told me the remote I ordered had been discontinued. I asked him why they had left it on the website then- with multiple pictures, detailed explanations of the old remote and a "buy" button at the bottom.

He had nothing to say other than that they said it was discontinued on the ad. I asked where and we went to the site and it was there- in a smaller font and buried in the middle of the ad.

I expressed my concern that had I wanted to buy the new remote I could have bought it cheaper elsewhere without having to pay shipping (which he charged). He gave me a verbal shrug and repeated that it was disclosed on the ad.

I told him I was returning the product and he said that was fine... for a restocking fee of 10%. Really? We're not talking about a ton of money- I'm out maybe $20 and my time- but the principle is what bothers me so I'm sharing my experience with you.

Beware of this seller.

I talked to Taylor on a Friday around 3:30 pm and USPS hadn't picked up yet for the day. He double checked my part, packed it and shipped as I was on the phone with him. It was delivered on Monday. The best $6 I have ever spent. Taylor really went out of his way. Very polite and knowledgeable. I will use North Shore for all my garage door needs. I had a typo in my mother in-laws address so my product was returned. I was charged a restocking fee and it actually was almost the price of the 3 remotes I ordered. I was disappointed that I was charged that and at the same time had to put another order in for the same product.

After several disappointing attempts and finally with the help of a handyman, we figured out how to program the Firefly clicker. It now works with our community gate, as well as my older Genie 450 garage door opener. The trick was to open the Genie to view the settings and program the Firefly exactly the opposite of the Multi-Code clickers. Like if #1 pin on Genie was up, we set the #1 Firefly to down! You cannot simply match the pins on Firefly to your existing clicker and expect it to work! This has been an issue to the point that our association office no longer sells the two-button Firefly clickers. In my original review, I was so frustrated that I was willing to throw away both new Firefly clickers. Now that they work, I like the size and convenience of having it in my pocket attached to my car key.

They did a great job, I replaced standard spring with a extended service spring. They did a great job! quality is good. Have replaced springs for customers many time.The turn around time was not bad at all.I will be using this company again.

I believe I had a power surge and it fried the circuit board enough that it wouldn't close the door. It would open but not close. All sensors were working. So, North Shore Commercial Door had the video to make sure I had the right part and at the right price. I had the part less than a week and installed the next day. Good service.

Ordered my 3rd replacement remote from these guys since they are pretty much the only supplier for my 30 year old garage door opener. I was happy with the first two but they do wear out. Received incorrect item that did not work and was left hanging but they took my money.

For me, customer service was, and is, pretty poor. I purchased a transmitter that the website indicated was a replacement for my original one. After serveral attempts, following the directions, it/I failed to get it to operate.
I emailed the company.I received the "canned" response. I responded to that, and haven't heard back.

Our original remote buttons were made of rubber and in the summer heat melted. North Shore had a good choice of replacement remotes for Overhead and their prices were competitive. Received in good time and my husband likes his new remote. Also ordered a key pad entry that was easy to install and program. We like it for extra easy access.

I like the tone when a button is pushed. Lights up for use at night. Very easy to program if you slow down to read all the steps.

I recently purchased two GenieMaster Remotes from North Shore. I had searched around on the internet to find out which replacement remotes would work best for me and to find the best price possible...North Shore fulfilled all my needs by providing the info on which remotes would work with my particular model garage doors and at the best price. They made the entire process so easy and shipped my remotes the next day. I was a little nervous about how to program the remotes but they gave me very clear cut instructions on programming my remotes...I swear it took me fifteen minutes to do all three doors on both remotes...the most difficult and time consuming step was moving the ladder around. I would definitely recommend North Shore to anyone needing garage door replacement parts and will definitely tell my friends and family about their great products and service...Thank you North Shore!
