🤬🤬🤬 I cancelled my flight within 24 hours, where Norwegian promises a refund within a maximum of 7 working days.
Today, August 29, two weeks after booking and 10 working days later, NORWEGIAN AIRLINES STILL HAS NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY.
Three days ago, I spent more than 30 minutes on hold waiting to get through to Norwegian’s customer service, when I finally did they promised me that my money would be refunded the same day. It still has not happened 🤯🤯🤯
I CANNOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO FLY WITH NORWEGIAN AIRLINES AS THEY’RE ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!

I'm disappointed. I waited for the chat until Monday because they don't work and the calls don't work either. They can't change the child's last name in 2 days (I mistakenly indicated my own when booking instead of dad's) and they can't change it and want me to buy another ticket 🤯🤯🤯 They don't want to help in any way

Very, very often delayed. Missed connecting flights a lot of times. Flown regularly between Stockholm and Stavanger, and Stockholm-London.

When I got to the payment their card solution got stuck so had to refresh the site and the turnt up the price by approx 20€.

Your flight was delayed with 2 hours and 53 minutes the 9 august from Copenhagen. That was informed i 11 hours before planned departure. But, the fact that arrival on Canary Island was moved from 23:40
to 02:30 means that the delayed reduced our holiday with one usefull day because of lack of sleep ( going to Playitas to train ) that i as a cost at 1700 dkk.. so NO i am not satiesfied. the fact that departure was 7 minutes befoe it could get expensive for Norwegian tells me that you deliberate spoiled my vacation
I also experienced a very bad experience to a “pregnant” couple sitting next to me. The male part took a snap in the flight ant that meant an very unpolited approax from an steward whi said it was not allowed and afterwards also from a stewardesse.. he had to show his photofolder to show there was no picture…( it was. snap) and looking at your website you motivate your passengers to take picture and share them on social media with #flynorwegian
The fact the invaded his private photofolder was really a dealbreaker for me.
Absolutely amazing crew!
I had a really great experience with Norwegian. I am absolutely terrified of flying. I let one of the crew members know, and asked them about the turbulence, to which they were amazing at reassuring me that it is perfectly normal. They even offered me to come in the back and have a chat if I wanted to. And another member offered me free coffee or tea. I just can’t thank them enough for taking my fear seriously and taking their time to check on me once in a while during the flight. Unfortunately I don’t know their names, but I would choose Norwegian again!
Horrible experience / cancelled flight.
Horrible experience. They sent a text at 02.40am to tell us are 10.00am flight was cancelled when we were already at the airport staying overnight as check-in would be around 07.00am. No explanation given. And they put us on a 20.45 flight at night instead. We ended up going back home and returning to Gatwick in the evening. So much money wasted. No apology. Opening a dispute. They have already claimed there was a Technical Issue to fob us off with getting compensation. Strange they didn't say there was a technical issue at 02.40am. And how would they know there was a technical issue prior to 02.40am for a flight that leaves at 10.00am? Further, they did not put me in the seat I had paid extra for on the later flight. Flight, back from Norway was also delayed this time they announced due to Technical Issues. Are these planes falling apart? And no Norwegian staff at Gatwick to help. Absolutely will never fly with them again, but I really doubt they care.

Great airline
Great airline, always fly with them and never have experienced anything bad. However be wear its hard to find staff within gatwick airport to help you if you miss flights ect..
Misleading & poor customer service
I thought I needed a last minute travel with Norwegian, and found an available flight. Norwegian advertised with strong, green letters that "Free 24 hours cancellation after booking", and since I did not know how many tickets they had available, I went a head and booked it.
It turned out that I did not need to travel, and I went and cancelled it. At this point, I only got refunded the taxes. When I asked Norwegian, they referred me to a T&C page that states that "if it is less than 4 hours to travel by the time of booking, the 24 hours cancellation policy does not apply".
This is at best misleading advertisement. I assumed this was a problem with their website, and have been in contact with multiple customer service agents. However, they all refer me to the T&C page and does not want to resolve the issue.

Absolutely appalling experience. My flight was cancelled and I arrived over 5 hours late to Oslo on the next one, completely missing an important event. Multiple emails have gone unanswered, and there is zero communication from customer service.
They have refused compensation based on extraordinary circumstances for which they have not provided any details (these should be very specific criteria). No passengers were not notified at the time of the reason, or subsequently since. This should have been communicated on the app as this issue clearly applies to everyone. I have written to the CEO (Geir Karlsen) and the CAA to appeal.
Feels like a scam, they are clearly banking on many people just accepting this.
Norwegian Air shuttle is unreliable, unresponsive, and shows no respect for passengers’ time or rights, and an embarrassment to Norway. I strongly advise others to think twice before using.
Two hour wait for luggage
Had to wait almost two hours for luggage and lost my connecting buss. Do they apologise? no. Did they keep us informed? No. Were they willing to cover any cost due to their failures? Of course not. What they did do was lie. "It will be here in 10 minutes" they said. 40 minutes before we saw anything. To late for me to cancel my tickets costing me an extra 60 euro and two more hours of waiting. Never flying with them again.
Bicycle transport
I booked a bicycle transport with Norwegian in June 2025 and paid 400 SEK (about USD 40) for the service. However, at the airport, the staff refused to accept my bike, citing packing requirements that I had never been informed of in the booking process or in any communication from the airline.
I contacted customer service multiple times but only received generic replies that failed to address my actual concerns. My request for a refund was denied on the grounds that the service was "non-refundable" – even though it was never delivered.
I find this highly unprofessional and misleading. I would not recommend purchasing any add-on services from Norwegian if you expect clear information or responsible customer support in case something goes wrong.
Flight fine, booking error
Flight itself was fine, but we had trouble with our booking. Somehow my name was put on both the tickets I ordered, even though I KNOW I triplechecked all info before ordering. Custumer service was quick, but the employee seemed utterly bored and disinterested in helping. Ended up having to pay extra to fix it, resulting in quite an expensive trip.

A short break in Oslo
Short trip to and from Oslo. Both flights were fault-free and better than on-time. The interaction with the cabin-crew was flawless and they were efficient and polite.
