No.Tom Guitars - who else?
A great little shop that has everything you need - great instruments, great atmosphere and most of all great and friendly staff who know what they´re talking about and are always willing to help. Want a great guitar? No Tom is the place!
Fantastic service
Fantastic service and range of instruments! Would recommend.
Good service
After some trouble with delivering the wrong strap and some misconception I wasn't satisfied. Once Ron Smith discovered what was going on he sent me a free second strap!!! Now that is a way of making up a mistake!! If a store acts like this it proves its loyalty to customers. Thanks so much for the great strap! I will definitely visit the store when I'm in London.

Fab Service
I part-exchanged an Old Wasburn for a new Faith and the chap Chris was stellar. lovely guy, great service.
Quality vintage guitars and great staff
I have bought and traded numerous guitars with Ron and his staff at NoTom guitars over the last few years and have always received high quality customer service.
In addition to the buying and selling I have had guitars both repaired, serviced and set up in their workshop by Gerald, again to a very high standard.
If you are looking to invest in or just want a really decent guitar with a 3 year warranty and good customer service then you should pop into NoTom at 6 Denmark street and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!
The best guitar shop!
I just got back from a short break to london. Visiting Denmark Street was a fantastic experience. I took time in every shop and I must admit there as at least one guitar in each shop that interested me. NoTom was the last shop I went in, no oarticular reason, that's just how it worked out. I couldn't believe it. No matter where I looked there was a guitar I wanted to buy. I had a budget, threw that out the window and bought a fantastic Guild.
Knowing I was in London for a few days they offered to courier the guitar at their expense to my relatives house so it would be waiting there for my return.
I couldn't praise this shop enough. We bartered and a great discount was given. Fantastic atmosphere, amazing stock, friendly guys you can talk to without feeling intimidated and fair prices.
Trust No Tom! Without a doubt the best guitar shopping experience I have had.
Excellent service at a bargain price.
No. Tom Guitars is one of the finest shops in Denmark Street. It stocks some of the best boutique pedals in the UK, friendly staff and competitive prices. If you're on the hunt for an ultimate bargain, no need to look any further if you around London. Always a pleasure to shop at No. Tom Guitars. They truely ROCK!!!
Good range of intruments - Good quality
Bought a Faith acoustic guitar and took it to Brazil. Haven't had problems with it so far.
What a special shop!
Wandering Through the music shops in Denmark St I found NOTOM by far the best vintage guitar experience! Knowledgable and helpful staff and a wonderful selection of special and desirable guitars. Can't recommend NOTOM enough!
Fair and knowledgeable
Ron and the staff are excellent and trustworthy. I exchanged a Taylor guitar for a Ricky, and I received a very fair price by the way, when I didn't quite take to the Ricky, Ron was more than happy to let me swap it for a telecaster.
I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell, exchange or buy a quality instrument.
Gibson L4-A
Very helpful staff. No pressure.
In Hanks across the street I felt like I was being watched and that the guy was annoyed with me for spending a couple of hours to decide how to spend my £1500. I left as a result.
No such problems at No.Tom. I came in on a Sunday, spent ages there. I came back on the Monday, spent about an hour playing again, and made my purchase. I didn't feel pressurized. I also felt that I was given good advice. Mainly this was along the lines of: "there is no right or wrong, it is what is right for you that matters." and "Rosewood isn't better or worse than maple, it is different. Rosewood does ... to the sound, Maple tends to make it more..."
My only quibble was that when I haggled about the price, the guy threw in a strap, among other things. He said all the straps were suitable, but when I brought it home it didn't fit the guitar. The one I chose was more suitable for an electric than an acoustic, it was too short, and it was missing its tie. I haven't been able to use it at all.
Perhaps it's unfair to complain without having brought it back to them, but it's a bit of trek and I just didn't get around to it. It would have been nice if the guy just said: "Not a good choice for that guitar."
I'm very happy with the guitar.

This is an edit of the original. I received a very fair response from No. Tom, so I no longer have any reservations. 5 stars

Great service, knowledgeable staff
No problems with NoTom - good range of stock, very knowledgeable staff and great service. Very happy to purchase again.
First class service from knowledgable team
I always drop in when in London as great range of pedals and guitars and very helpful staff. Best on Denmark St in my opinion.
Les Paul Futura
Purchased a Les Paul Futura from No Toms. Was in the sale due to the plum colour not to everyone's taste but was set up beautifully. Lovely guitar to play and great service from the guys in the shop. Great bargain, great shop
Fender purchase
I bought a fender American strat last year and the owner was very helpful and never tried to put pressure on me to buy. He let me play it for a while and visit other shops until I made my choice. Due for a service soon so hoping the after sales service is as good.
Very knowledgable - excellent service
You know you're buying a piece of musical history when you shop at No.Tom - Everything there is legendary.
A great deal and more.
I was strumming away on a beautiful ovation acoustic thinking that I couldn't afford it. I had an old Marshall amp that I offered up with the speculative: "I don't suppose you'd take my amp...?" Well, after a bit of haggling (and lack of self control on my part) a very satisfying deal was done. If you thought the London guitar shops were intimidating or out of reach, go to No Tom. It should be Yes Time!
A Very happy shopper!
An excellent shop run by people who know their stuff
Whether you're looking for a vintage guitar or something new then you should pay No.Tom a visit. The owner Ron is a stalwart of Denmark Street and as nice a bloke as you'll meet. What he and his staff don't know about their stock isn't worth knowing!
